I added a mailbox "on my computer" and it doesn't show in the application.

I wanted to archive my mail so I created a new mailbox on my computer. It doesn't show in my list of available mailboxes. How do I locate this so I can archive my email.

Mail creates an archive mailbox in the Mail sidebar for each account whose messages you’re archiving, and moves the messages you selected there. The messages remain there until you delete or move them.

Try using RecBoot to kick it out of recovery mode. If that does not work, try a manual install, as outlined in link below. If it STILL keeps entering recovery mode, you most likely need a new logic board.

I used Terminal to change the permissions on the folder in question. I followed the instructions in this article:
iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization
In my case, the folder was there, so I needed the command to change permissions on the folder, not to create one. I was hesitant to use Terminal b/c I know that if I made an error I could wipe out my hard drive or render my computer unusable. So to be SURE I didn't make an error, I carefully copied the command from that page and *pasted* it into Terminal. Also, before I could do anything in Terminal, I had to go change my admin password (it had been a blank password before and that's not acceptable for making changes in Terminal). I was just super careful when entering my password or doing anything else while Terminal was open (making sure I didn't accidently hit the spacebar or another key, etc.) And it fixed the problem right away.
What was confusing for me was that the iTunes error message said to change permissions in the FINDER, which is what I was trying to do. It didn't mention Terminal. What would really be helpful is if Apple included a link to a page like this in their error message.

I'd say your sister messed up and your iPod is toasted.
Think about it... She plugged it in to another computer, she doesn't remember what she did (yeah, right), and now your iPod is not being recognized by your computer...
Also take into consideration how old is your sister, and how much does she know about electronics?

You need to reconfigure your phone for use with your Apple ID. I suggest you restore yours as new then reconfigure it with your information and Apple ID. Be sure to disable Find My Phone, if it's enabled, before proceeding.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

If you no longer have the old computer this will be very helpful and If you have other content - apps, books, movies, that you want to transfer to the iTunes library - you need to transfer your purchases from the iPod to the computer as well.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

I have Adobe Acrobat 9.5.4 installed on my computer and it doesn't work when PDFing my document using Microft Word 2010. I have tried using the tab add-in, but it doesn't respond either. The only way to convert my document is to save it as a .pdf from the save as drop down box. From OFFICE 2010 you either have to have AA X or just print to the Adobe PDF printer. You give no information on your operating system or specifically what you mean by PDFing -- there are multiple ways to create a PDF from a WORD document and you have given no information. However, in this case your only choice is to print to the Adobe PDF printer. Otherwise, you need to upgrade Acrobat.
