I added background music to the video clip, but I only hear noise, no video clip audio or the background music audio
I added background music to the video clip in iMovie, the playback runs ok on the right corner preview screen, if I share it to movie clip or itunes or theather, I only hear noise, no video clip audio or the music audio
If I don't put additional audio to the clip. audio effect or music background, the video plays normally
I detached the audio from the video clip and deleted it, that way it was possible to listen to the music background and see the actual video clip, but no audio from the video clip.
How can I have both?

My first thought is -
Where are the original Audio file ?
If it was on an Audio-CD then the CD is Ejected and one tries to play the movie - it can not find it = Silence.
You are using an Non-Destructive Video editor - meaning that You have raw material - Video, Audio and photos but no Movie in Project - only a text document directing How You want it to be played. So if Audio is not where it was when this document were created - iMovie can not find it and e.g. audio goes silent.

My apple TV is connected to a DTV with an HDMI cable and to my Yamaha receiver via optic cable. We rented a movie on Apple TV and.found that the movie played, but we only got audio for music tracks. Voice tracks were silent using both TV and receiver. This only occurred on the rented video and on recorded shows on my cable DVR. previews and other content on Apple TV are fine. Any ideas??
Previews and trailers do not contain 5.1 audio.
If you have recently moved your setup, you may have inadvertently changed some of the settings on your receiver. It certainly sounds as though it is unable to play the 5.1 audio from the Apple TV. -
i got a macbook pro 13 inch core i5 late 2011 , it came with osx lion and i been using facebook videocalls normaly , now i updated to Mountain lion
but when i use facebook video calls in (safari ,chrome ) i see the window box but i only see my self i can hear my friends but cant see em, they also can see me and hear me but i just see me and hear them .
any ideas ?Your wifi problem sounds very much like the problem I had. The wifi would drop out, the icon showed it was still connected. If I turned it off, I couldn't turn it back on. Another user here pointed me to the problem, which was the wifi cable (the flat cable goint from the card to the motherboard). I found it on ebay for $13 and it's been running fine since I replaced it. This is the repair guide for your machine. The part number will be on there if you click the link.

When i try to upload a .mts file from my Sony camera to Premiere Pro CC it refuses to play the audio! Ofcourse i could convert every single clip but it takes tons of time. How can i make Pr play audio track properly?
Does it not play at all or cannot you get the audio in the timeline?
Did you copy the entire card to the hdd and then imported the file via the Media Browser?

On my older Nano my iTunes music library shows 28 GB but I only have a fraction selected for download (maybe 2 GB total).. what gives?

Rid your Mac of the adware that is installed. To do that with Safari, go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. Uninstall any Extensions that appear unless you know their purpose and are certain you need. To learn how adware may have come to be installed on your Mac, read How to install adware. -
I have had a reinstall nightmare getting my loops back they are in the apple library, I can access them through the media browser but I only have a few available through the loop browser, how do I get them all back there again? please help

They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located. -
MacBook Pro doesnt start. When I start my lap top, it shows the apple and the line uploading but it only goes like to 1/3 and then it goes blank for some seconds, then it turns off by itself and turn on again and happen the same, apple logo, line .. the noise like-fan going on, then turn off and turn on again. Tried starting holding option command P and R key and didnt work either. Starting to think I have lost all my data inside

Have you redeemed your iTunes card to an account associated with an Apple ID?
Once you have your iPad associated with an Apple ID AND you have an account with a credit card associated with the same Apple ID AND you have some 'store credit' (from redeeming your iTunes card) then purchases use the store credit before they charge the credit card, so you should be ok!
Personally, I use 'store credit' as a way to monitor whether or not there have been any 'unauthorised' purchases because as soon as the store credit is zero, the security code from the credit card is needed for further purchases! It does mean that I have sometimes to top up store credit before making a purchase, but 'better safe than sorry'! -
I use Windows Vista and Microsoft Outlook. After migrating to iCloud, the calendar of iCloud tranferred only part of my past Calendar items to the folder iCloud Calendar in my Outlook. How can I transfer all the entries? In iCloud's site all are there.
If the calendar is on iCoud.com, all you would need to do to get it on your phone is go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign into your iCoud account and turn Calendars on. The iCloud calendars will then download to your phone.

How do I get a PDF document put into an attachment form that I can drag to an e-mail. Usually I get an icon showing an spiral note book which then becomes an attachment when I drag it to the e-mail, but occasionally it stays in PDF and prints out on the e-mail. What have I done differently?

I just got my cable company to switch my wireless router to a wired one considering now I have the wireless airport device (the newest one) but now I can't get a wireless signal. The router works when directlyplugged in,the aiport wireless device is green. I've tried going through my new MacBook Pro settings and it the diagnostics check, it says network changes detected, I tell it that it "yes" does connect to a cable modem, it tells me to restart it, after I do it asks if there are any other devices hooked up ( firewall) and when I say no it tells me that it can't fix the problem.
Now I know that I probably have a new IP address because of the cable company switching the boxes but it was working fine with the other box, now there isn't a signal to be had on it!
Please anybody out there that can help!!!??Any time you change networking hardware it is always a good idea to perform a complete power recycle with the new equipment. Check out the following AirPort User Tip. Please post back your results.

Just bought a new mac mini, wireless keyboard, and track pad. My track pad will not synch. All advise I have been given is to change items in the setting menu, but I cant because I still have to get through the setup!!
The power button for the Trackpad is on the right hand end of the battery case. Press that button to initiate the pairing process. On the top of the Trackpad just above the power button is a tiny green light (you probably cannot see it unless it is lighted). That light will indicate ehther or not the Trackpad is discoverable. If the Trackpad has discoverable the green light will blink on and off. If it does not pair within 3 minutes you will have to press the power button again to re-initiate the pairing process. Once your Trackpad has paired, you can just leave it on and it will pair automatically when you reboot your Mac.
If you are having problems pairing, try turning off any other Bluetooth devices within 30 or so feet of your Mac mini. That includes other Computers, iPhones, iPads, etc. that may be in the area. Once your Trackpad has pairedwith your mini, you don't have to be concerned about other Bluetooth devices.
One other hint, I find that although the Wireless Trackpad does not eat batteries as fast as the Magic Mouse it still uses more than the Wireless Keyboard. It is a good idea to keep a supply of AA batteries around. I have used Apple's Rechargable batteries, but found they did not last that long before needing to be recharged. I have had the best battery life from Duracell Quantum batteries. -
I rented a movie on my iPad. It downloaded fine but would only play 36 minutes, 5 seconds worth of the movie; although the time kept running for the length of the movie. Can this be fixed or do I need to get a refund?
You can try a rest:
Reset iPad: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- If that does work, contact iTunes and request a redownload. You can ask for a refund though.
