I already own an iLife DVD (and upgrade), can I download the apps somewhere?
I own a macbook and iLife came with it, in that time, apple was offering a free upgrade (i guess, don't remember), and I got it, so now I have a dvd that came with iphoto 8 and another one that upgrades that iphoto to iphoto 9...
iphoto is now on the app store, and I'd really love to know that I can be worry-free of loosing both my DVDs, since even if I have one of them, I won't be able to have iPhoto's newest upgrade...
Is that possible somehow? can I, like, ask apple for a redeem code, and download it from the app store, or, if I loose my DVDs and have to format my mac, to have iphoto, I'll have to pay for an app that I already own ? (even, like, If I buy a new Macbook Pro, how am I suppose to install iPhoto?)

You'll have to pay to get iPhoto 9 (11) since upgrades must be purchases while updates are free.
Before you try to purchase you should make sure your Mac is compatible with iPhoto 9.4.3 (the version offered by the App Store). You'll need to be running OS X 10.7.5 or later - Mac App Store - iPhoto

Hi I got my son a I pad mini for his Christmas first he used I tunes card which was fine then I entered my bank details to download a game you pay for now because I've entered the bank details every time he try's to down load a free game it wontlethim get it as its asking for credit card information ,
Can somebody tell me how I can get it back to when he first got it and he could down load all the free apps. Without card information or how I can get the card information bit away thanksGo to settings on your device then select app store. If you tap on the email that is shown it will give you an option to view your apple ID. When you are viewing your apple ID, tap on payment method and it will show a list of credit card options. The one at the bottom should say none. If you then tap none for payment options the credit card will not be connected. If you go on to the app store again you should be able to download free apps with out any issues.

I don't have the latest ipod touch and therefore can't download the app '12 days of christmas'. The app details say that you don't need to use a device and that you can "download the gifts from your computer". How do I do this, as I know its not possible to diretly use an app on a computer?

i own acrobat 9 pro and had to re-download the program from a computer issue but when i get the serial code from the adobe website it give me serial code invalid error. i am using copy and paste to prevent miss typing the code.

I've been given a Macbook Air as a gift (with OS 10.7.5). Garageband is missing and I can't dl the app store version because apparently my OS is too old. Help??
Try to by an iLife '11 installation DVD - perhaps you can find it at Amazon or eBay.
Or try to update the MacOS X version of your MacBook Air to MacOS X 10.9 Mavericks. If your MBA qualifies for the Mavericks update, you should be able to buy GarageBand 10.0 from he AppStore. -

He are some apps that are still compatible for iOS 4.2
> Pandora Radio (supports iOS 3 or better)
> Army of Darkness: Defense (support iOS 3 or better)

These are the apps that I know that supports iOS 4.2...... get these before the their next updates.
Some of these apps may be laggy but still playable.
BUT IF YOU DO UPGRADE TO BETTER IPOD...... I would get the iTouch 4g OR 5g because of iOS 6 and use of camera and better graphics. -
I haveabout 7 App's that I Need to update.
However, when trying tot do so,the message I get is 'Can't download the app' (in Dutch).
The App, however, such as Pages, is no longer opening and can't be used.

If you can you can choose the None option and only put the card info in when you want to buy something. It also makes your account less suceptable to hackers as there is nothing that they can use to buy anything. -

What Nexus 7 version do you have as there was a 2012 and a 2013 model. A easy way to tell if it is a 2013 is it has a camera on each '''back''' and front while 2012 only has one on front.
If it is the 2012 then it has a Nvidia Tegra 3 so the old Flash 11.1 Plugin is disabled.

I updated my storage to 20gb however my phone still shows 5gb and i can not download the update. iOS8 How can I change the setting on my phone to 20gb.
You can't update on-device storage like that...you are probably referencing iCloud storage, which doesn't effect your on-board memory. Plug your phone in to iTunes and download the update that way...no deleting apps or anything...it's much easier.
