That message is usually caused by an incompatible add-on. You need to do a little bit of troubleshooting to determine which one, and then disable that particular add-on until you can find and install an updated version which doesn't cause that error.

With Firefox 7 my computer is slower to boot up and shut down. When typing the website I want in the address bar the old firefox took me straight to the site now it takes me to Google. How can I revert to a previous version and stop firefox from automatically updating?

I'd like to have the ability to deny an update, some kind of dialogue box. It just went to 9.0.1 with no approval whatsoever.
The reason why is that FF main appeal is the range of extensions, having over half of them non-functional because developers can't keep up with frequent Firefox updates is frustrating beyond compare.

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]]. This will show you how to roll back to an older version.
If you want to turn off automatic updates, just take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Updating%20Firefox#w_how-do-i-configure-update-options this article]. That will prevent Firefox from updating automatically.

My Xerox Phaser 6120 is no longer compatible with Firefox. There is no new driver. How can I revert to a previous version so I can browse AND print?

For a few months, I have been unable to print from Firefox. I assumed it was a setting or something on my network, but today figured out it's my old printer driver that is no longer compatible. There is no new driver, nor will there be one. I love my printer, and do not want to buy a new one just to be able to use Firefox AND print. Switching back and forth between Firefox and Safari isn't an option. Any suggestions? Is there a way to regress my Firefox so it can work like it used to? Any workarounds? Thanks very much.

Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

Since installing Firefox 9.0.1 LAST night on my iMac, which is running OSX v. 10.5.8, Firefox is now crashing every few minutes. It usually happens as I go from one website to another -- when I click on a bookmarked website from my bookmarks, Firefox crashes just as the next website is coming up. I have NEVER had this problem with Firefox before. I need to uninstall and revert to the previous version of Firefox, but OSX doesn't have an easy "revert to previous configuration" routine. It was another Plug-in, Showcase, that was incompatible with the newest Firefox, so he told me to disable it, and that worked instantly. • in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.
