This means deletions, naming, filing in folders. Is this possible on an I Pad? I have just returned from a 2 month trip with several thousand photos. If I had waited to name and file these until I got home, it would be misery.

The iPad is a great device but it can't do all things. To accomplish all the tasks you mention I feel a laptop is the best tool.

No, you should be able to use/install LR5. Make sure you are using the correct number. If the problem continues explain the details of what you do and what happens.

Some Internet providers that limit access to a single device at a time do so by the device's hardware MAC address. If your ISP is one of those, you may be able to substitute the MAC address of your AirPort Express base station for the computer. I would suggest that you contact them to find out if this is allowable.

OK ... so I just restarted and opened Safari first ... no spinning ball. And I opened mail after hitting the rebuild, well, I'm missing messages from Dec. 24 - now, but it opened right away. I have owned my MacBook Pro for several months without having any problems with it. Recently I am having trouble with my Yahoo Mail. I can open it fine, but 2 out of 3 times when I try to actually open a message, the spinning ball comes on the screen and does not stop. Sometimes, I can log out or force quit and come back in to my account and use it. Other times, I run into the same problem. Any suggestions?

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.

This is the Rating - the equivalent of the rating that you would have for a film (PG, 12, 15 etc)
Britain does not have a TV rating system equivalent to this - like they have in America. TV shows you download with adult content may be rated caution. You can't then restrict access to them using itunes or device parental controls.
There is no way as far as I know in iTunes to change the rating. You have to do this with a third party tagging application.

For several weeks, Thunderbird downloads the same emails more than once, back to back. Also when I try to delete messages, "Thunderbird does not respond."

The entire screen whites out when I try to delete or open another email. The margin above the File button shows that "Thunderbird is not responding." Finally, a new window appears in the middle of the screen asking me if I want to close Thunderbird. I am not sure if this problem started when I renewed my McAfee Total Protection program approx. 2 months ago. I also have over 1000 messages saved in both received emails and sent emails. I would like to just highlight a full page of them and delete all messages at once, but this is not possible.
