I am a new user. I was told that for maximum safety while surfing the web to enable "no script." Why would I want to do this and how do you do it? Thank You..... David

I was told by a computer security expert to select "no script" for my Mozilla Firefox browser which I just downloaded. How is this beneficial? He told me that there are programs out there {malware?} that can actually take over my computer and send out emails and that I would not even be aware of this? Does this browser help prevent this sort of thing from happening?
