I have a Windows desktop and an iPad. Will I have any compatibility issues with PC and Mac? Can I store my photos in Lightroom and eliminate my Dropbox account? Thanks.
You shouldn't have any compatibility issues. But you don't store images "in" Lightroom. Lightroom simply points to wherever the images are on your system. You might like to watch a few videos that can help you understand how Lightroom works.

If you don't use the DNG Converter to create DNGs from your raw files, then you'll need to purchase LR 5 to us LR with your camera that is newer than LR4; however, there is something you can do for PSE11:
ACR 8.3 will work with PSE11 to open 70D files, but there is no installer, so you have to be a little devious to get things to all work. You also need to be on a Windows 7 or 8 since ACR 8.3 supposedly doesn't work on Vista. I should also say that the process outlined below does work on my Windows 7 64-bit computer, but I also have PS-CS6 and PS-CC installed on it, so it is possible that ACR 8.3 is dependent on something that wouldn't exist on a computer with only PSE installed on it, but someone else will have to confirm that.
I was able to get 70D files to open in ACR 8.3 on PSE11 by doing the following:
Download the ACR 8.3 for Windows update for PS-CC via the direct download link on the Adobe Blog:

Unzip this downloaded setup.zip to a folder somewhere.
Inside the files from that zip is a folder called payloads \ AdobeCameraRaw8.0All-031213015928. Note that this is the folder without x64 in the path. PSE11 is a 32-bit program so we need the 32-bit version of the plug-in.
Inside that folder is another ZIP called Assets1_1.zip so unzip it somewhere.
Inside Assets1_1.zip there is a file called 1003. This is the largest file in that zip and is the plug-in you need.
Copy this 1003 file into the existing PSE11 camera raw plug-in folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 11\File Formats or for a 32-bit Windows OS, into: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 11\File Formats
Rename the existing Camera Raw.8bi to Camera Raw.8bi_7 (in case something doesn't work and you need to rename it back, later).
Rename 1003 to Camera Raw.8bi
After these steps you have the ACR 8.3 plug-in installed in PSE11 but not the camera and lens profiles, so install those by downloading and installing the DNG Converter 8.3:

I have an Ipad2, an Iphone 4 . I want to be able to sync both of these with my Windows desktop and Outlook 2007. I would like to sync to and from the Idevices and Outlook. When I attempt to sync in itunes I get a popup message asking if I want to delete, Merge or cancel. Not wanting to delete of cancel the only option left is Merge.
When selecting Merge all of the entries in outlook are added to the idevice. The next time I merge all of the same entries plus any new ones are added, resulting in older entries being repeated i.e an entry like “John’s Birthday” will appear 5 or 6 times on the same date.
How do I resolve this issue? How do I get the the sync process to add only new entries?This is a great question. First, facetime will not work because it has to establish a Call connection first. iMessage should work, but how to get it going I am not sure. Two great Apps to try are, Viber and Skype. Viber is excellent, it works over WiFi, you can make free calls and free text messages all over the world with other users who have Viber installed. It does not even have to be open on screen to work. Viber does have to recieve one text message with activation code, to activate it, this will be your only hurdle, but maybe Verizon can help you get that one text message. Skype does have to be open on screen however, but this can function like Facetime with WiFi connection. Definitely get Viber free in App Store, and put it on all your iDevices so the old Verizon iPhone can function as a telephone when on WiFi.

I can not open my photo, opened in lightroom, in photoshop CS4. a plug-in camera raw xx is missing. Advice to update does not work. There is no plug-in in the map photoshop plug-ins.
This is expected. CS4 will never be able to open files from a current version of LR and a modern camera.

Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option -

In your case your only solution is to restore it ( see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 ) and you may need to force it into restore mode to do that. This will wipe everything off it and reset it as new, without the passcode. You can then redownload purchased content, buy unless you have a sync'd copy of your contacts and photo's they will be gone.

I have an iPhone 5, yesterday it wasn't receiving any signal. I reset it and when it cam back on it said plug into iTunes, i did that but now it comes up with error 9006 and 39. What do i do, i have tried different wires, and different plug in holes, I've left it for the night and tired again this morning.
Error code 9006 is related to the computer's security software settings, 39 is not listed inResolve iOS update and restore errors try turning the security/anti-virus software off if you are using something like that. Then you may need to restore via the recovery mode since that is what the graphic of a USB wire connecting to iTunes means, it has already entered recovery mode...see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 for instructions on recovery mode restoring.

I am new to FCP. I have a canon 60d camera and purchased fcpX. I was recommended to download mgep streamline and convert my files to prores422. I do not have an option for prores 422 in my download. How can I fix the problem.Please help. There was another suggestion by vimeo.com to use applexdcam ex 1080p30. I do not have that either in my mpeg download.

My Apple ID is all of a sudden not an iCloud account.
So it says any way. It used to work until a few days ago, but now iCloud can't register the ID and Outlook can't login to iCloud from my pc. Anyone else faced this problem or know how to deal with it?Ditto here.

.....on my Windows 7 64bit computer.
I click on the iCloud icon in the Network & Internet section; the iCloud sign in window pops up and I type in my Apple user ID and password and it replies that I need to setup a separate iCloud account....even though it plainly states that for the user to "Sign in with your Apple ID".

Try and closing the app (app store in this case) and switch it back on and then download. If it still doesn't work, then give the IPad a rest and try again later.

You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.
