I'm looking ahead to buy Spice Fire one MX, one of two FIrefox OS Phones available in India. I have few questions before I continue:
1. Which version of FIrefox OS comes installed in it?
2. Will I be able to update it to V.2 when its released? (I saw a post saying Intex Cloud FX do not allow updates other than through manufacturer)
3. When will V.2 be released?
4. In case update is not possible, will I be able to flash in update for OS/change update channel to Mozilla updates?

1. I believe that it comes pre-loaded with version 1.3.
2. This is correct partially. The manufacturers are ultimately responsible for providing updates to its users. In the even that you know that you can flash your own device with the builds from Mozilla, you can do that.
3. I'm not sure on this, once the 2.0 version items have all been finalized, and release notes are released. You should be able to find an estimated date.
4. Answered in question 2.
5. The phones sold in the country depends on the market and what the market needs. -

Why is Spice Fire One mifx1 is not detected in app manager/WebIDE for debugging?
i've an alcatel one touch fire phone as well. And it gets detected and I can connect to it via app manager/ webide by default. But this is not the case with Spice Fire One mifx1. When I connect it via USB it is not displayed in App manager or WebIDE. Please help me fix this. I've selected ADB and DevTools option in remote debugging section & disabled phone lock. Still cannot be connected..

Then you will have to tell ADB what phone to use. By that I mean adding the PCI ID to a text file to tell ADB that this peripheral is compatible.
The Spreadtrum PCI ID is 0x1782
add this line to “Your user directory/.android/adb_usb.ini”
for example
C:\Users\Peter\.android\adb_usb.ini
If the file does not exist create it.
Add this Code:
0x1782
Then the phone should work and be detected by your PC:
To test navigate to your Android SDK Directory and run: adb devices
your device should be seen .

Unfortunately, there are no native features in your device to backup your SMS messages.
You may contact the manufacturer of your phone, Spice, and they may be able to provide you with a solution for this.
You may also be able to backup some information in your device using the application PC-Sync from the Firefox Marketplace:

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

I also recommend to use Boot Camp, which allows you to install windows on a partition of your internal hard drive. This has many benefits. First, you can restart your computer and start up in windows. This makes your Mac device a complete windows machine and you gain the most from your hardware when working in Windows. Second, if a problem occures to your Mac OS X, you can restart your machine in Windows and prevent your data from getting lost. Third, you can import the Windows installed on the boot camp partition in to the Mac OS X using VMWare Fusion and work with it as a virtual machine. In this situation, VMWare enables you to work directly with your Windows in the boot camp partition. So it does not create a file package for the virtual machine in OS X.
Regarding the data safety and reliablity, I strongly recommend using Time Machine. You can also set it up to back up your virtual machines or not. This is possible to set up in the Virtual Machine Preferences Page in VMWare Fusion, or in the Time Machine preferences page in the System Preferences app of OS X.

I am about to buy a 13" MacBook Pro with 256 GB SSD. I want a Windows partition set up. What size should it be, and can I load Win XP Pro or does it need to be Win 7 or 8?
You can use XP but it has to be in a Virtual Machine and OS X as the host instead of as a dual boot system with XP in its own partition. That is how I run Windows on my Mac, in a Virtual Machine.
Take a look at VritualBox from Oracle. It's free and works very well. -
I have an imac osx 10.5.2 from about five years ago and recently my flash player stopped operating/responding. Does anyone know if I have to install a new flash player? I have attempted it several times and it won't let me. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Do I need a new operating system?

Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

HELP! Years ago - SEVEN to be exact- I PURCHASED Adobe CS2 and used it extensively. Then I was in an accident that took five years to recover from. After my recovery I tried to get back to using my Adobe products only to find that Adobe was discouraging use of CS2 and since I OWN a LICENSE and that was the LAST version I used I wanted to begin again with a version I am familiar with. Many months later, apparently I wasn't the only one who wanted to KEEP USING CS2 and now Adobe has made it possible to download this version for PC and MAC, BUT due to OS compatibility issues Adobe continues to discourage downloading and use. HERE'S THE THING: I have the SAME SYSTEM running the SAME OS as when I first PURCHASED IT. I have downloaded the EXACT SAME VERSION of CS2. It installs fine. I'm on a PC running Windows 2000 XP. I OWN a LICENSE for Adobe CS2 and it used to run on this very same machine. I had to re-format my system two years ago so it has much more free space but when I try to OPEN the application it won't run. 5. Latest headlines, most visited, City of Balch Springs etc.
I don't want all these bars and I don't want all that window space used.
What ever you can do to help will be GREATLY appreciated
