I am an avid amateur, but I need to export some photos in CMYK profile. Is CC or PSCS better?

Recently, I have needed to convert my CR2 or DNG files to CMYK profile for a printer. It is my understanding that PS Elements (any version) does not support CMYK profiles. I am an avid amateur I think I need to change from Photoshop Elements to CC or PSCS. What would be the most cost effective way to accomplish this goal?

Cost effective depends on how long you think you'll need to do this for. PSCS6 (£662 at Amazon UK about $1100) can still be bought as a perpetual licence whereas CC is a monthly fee (currently in the UK on special offer at £8.78 ($14.68) per month for the first twelve months - http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/photoshop.html but then ramps up to the full monthly charge.
Cost Effective (£0 / $0) Alternatives:
The free Gimp software has a rudimentary RGB-CMYK plug-in.

Yes, you could, because in this case you would have something like a backup in the cloud. BTW, personally I also like Flickr. Flickr offers you 1 TB (1000 GB) of free storage and automatic upload for photos since iOS 7 (it is a very attractive offer, at least for me)

Sounds like it was synced from her computer using iTunes. Connect the phone to her computer, open iTunes, click on the name of her phone in iTunes, go to the Photos tab and see if this folder is checked. If so, unchecking it and syncing will remove them all, or deleting/moving the photos from the folder on her computer and syncing will remove the deleted/moved photos.

Connect the iPod to your computer. Click on the iPod under Devices and iTunes. How large is the "other" category as shown in the colored bargraph? If larger than about 3/4 GB, restore the iPod. That large of "other" indicates corrupted files.

Until he returns, I can tell you that I ran a quick test using an image from the Aperture 3 training book library which was as follows:
Camera = Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Master resolution = 5616 x 3744 (21 MP)
I was able to export to a JPEG with end file size of 1 MB as follows:
Export Presets drop-down > select 'Edit' option
Selected preset name 'JPEG - 50% of Original Size' > change percentage value to 40% > change DPI value to '300' > click OK to set as current default > Export version to desktop.
The exported JPEG has a resolution of 2246 x 1498 and appears on screen to have the same image quality of the original in Aperture.
Note - I did not change the default Image Quality slider in the Export Preset dialog (which left it at 10).
Basically, you will need to play around with the settings until you find the appropriate values to arrive at an image version you want.

However it is trivial to modify it so I doubt that it would hold water in court

You can't write to a DVD directly from the phone? Transfer them to your comptuer, then burn a DVD if you want.

First go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the email account that's there. Close iPhoto, reopen and add your email account to the Accounts preference pane and try again.
Next, and IMO the better solution, set Mail are the email client for iPhoto in iPhoto's General preference pane:
This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy and, if you need a layout like iPhoto gives you, similar layouts in iPhoto's stationary option.

IPhone stuck on restore -- need to get some photos off!

Hi,
My iPhone is stuck in restore mode. I don't know how it got like that, it was freezing up and I tried to reset it, maybe I did it on accident.
Anyways, I have some photos on it that I need to get off -- so I don't want to do the restore yet! Every time I connect it to my iTunes it says that it is in restore mode. How can I take it out of restore mode to get these pictures off of it first??

You may be experiencing the "disappearing project" issue. Projects can be seen in the Finder in their default location (as described by AppleMan1958), but do not appear in the listing of projects in iMovie's Project Library. See this thread for more information, and also the links therein to other threads regarding this issue:

I've installed Firefox but don't have the Firefox folder in Application Support (but I need to access this to edit my profile since Firefox won't open)

Online troubleshooting tells me I have to go into my profile to edit something in order to get Firefox to launch. For now, it's telling me that only one copy of Firefox can be open at once. However, I don't have the Firefox folder in my Application Support, even though I've installed Firefox.

I get the same thing with Firefox, IE8, Opera, and Safari. It isn't a Firefox only problem.
Are you new to that webhosting service? <br /> Have you ever uploaded web pages to that same web hosting service previously, pages that worked after an upload? <br /> Are those pages listed as ''' "public" ''' pages in your web hosts control panel?
My suggestion is to "download" your homepage and associated files & images from your PC, up to the server, using your web hosts control panel and see how that works.
Beyond that, I suspect that you might have missed an important setting in Dreanweaver for uploading to the web host's server. You might try asking about this issue at a Dreamweaver support forum.

I need help getting some photos off a really old ipod

Ok so here it is.... My grandparents way back when gave me an ipod video, I just recently found it and realized it has photo's on it that I would like to keep. My problems are 1. I don't have the original computer I used for it 2. when I plug it in my computer thinks it's a hard drive 3. autoplay won't give me the option to import the photo's to my computer and 4. itunes doesn't seem to have an option to transfer photo's from ipods to your pictures folder.... if any one could help I'd appriciate it.

The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos. So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option. You can Google for more.

How do I view a list of my photos in iTunes? I need to delete some photo albums that were duplicated.

I accidentally created a couple of new photo albums when I backed up or synced my phone. Now I have hundreds of duplicate photos on the phone. One solution I saw online said to delete them using iTunes, but I don't actually see the photos in iTunes. Sometimes I see a multicolored horizontal bar across the bottom of one of the iTunes screens. It says how many photos there are, but won't display them. Connect the phone to iTunes on your computer. Click on its name. Click on the "Photos" button at the top of the screen.

Have you tried to open your pdf-scans in Preview?
When you open a pdf in Preview, you can use the command "File > Export" to save it as jpeg to a folder. Than drag that folder to the iPhoto icon in the Dock to import the converted photo to iPhoto.
