Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

My phone is not showing up in itunes. I want to sync it. I have a MAC and I have restarted the phone, it's charged, I have the most current version of itunes. What do I do now? It says to reinstall itunes if you have windows but not for mac. Help!
With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

I have the current version of itunes, but when I go to update my ipod, I am getting an error message that says that it could not back up because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPod. This is the first time trying to backup the iPod. I have authorized my computer. Still no luck.
Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and select the iPod backjp and click on delete and try again.

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -
iTunes doesn't recognize my iPad. Computer just sees it as a camera. Tried all the fixes, except for reloading iTunes; I do have the most current iTunes available. Any ideas?
Nobody from Apple answers any questions here other than those that go longer than 24 hours without a response and all that those Apple people do is to direct users to kb articles that might help in given situations. It pretty much ends there. So don't expect "Apple" to hear your pleas.
if you want help from Apple, make an appointment at an Apple store and see if they can diagnose the problem for you. The only other thing that I could suggest is to connect your iPad to another computer running iTunes. If iTunes sees the iPad, then the issue is on your computer somewhere. If you try this, you want to turn off auto sync on the other computer. Launch iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices>Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. -
I can see my purchases (movies specifically) in the ITunes Store when I filter to purchased but when I try to down load the movie it starts to down load and then says Unable to Download Error Code 5105. Can anyone help?

Hi, I had this problem when I first went to use iTunes with iCloud. using Windows 8 OS. Everytime I tried to download from iCloud error 5105 came up... not sure this will work for everyone, but pretty simple, I closed iTunes and restarted it and everything worked fine -
I have a windows 8 computer and I installed the newest version of itunes because I used to have an ipod and I have a few purchases that I wanted to listen to. When I try to play them it says it's playing but I can't hear anything. It does not even says it's played the whole way. It just stays at the beginning. It won't let me pause. I checked my computer sound and there is nothing wrong with it. So there must be some software problem but idk what it is. If anyone can help I would appreciated. Thank-you

It sounds like there is an issue burning CD's in iTunes. Is the playback issue only occurring on a specific device and does the disc show up correctly in iTunes? I wish to convert my Matlab files into .dll's so that I can use them in LabVIEW. I am using 'mcc' and 'mbuild' of Matlab to convert my .m files into .c and .dll.
When I try to run the .dll's in LabVIEW, I get an error message in a modal window stating some required .dll or procedure is not found.
How should I resolve this issue. Should I add any other Matlab .dll's in course of making my .dll?

See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. It may pay to uninstalll all Apple components and delete the folders set out in the second box before reinstalling. In principle you ought not need to reinstall QuickTime.

I have an iPod touch. When I try to download an app, it says I need to update the device's software to access the iTunes store. But, when i connect to iTunes, it says I have the most current version. I'm stuck. My mother got this iPod as free-with-purchase when she bought her desktop. She used it, then gave it to me. Could this be the problem? because she connected it to her iTunes and now it won't work on mine? When I first plugged it into my iTunes, it said the iPod was registered to another account and did I want to sync it with my account, to which I said yes. So far, this iPod has been useless to me because I can't download any apps to it. Help, please.

With previous editions of iTunes for Windows, I could play a CD at the same time as it was being imported. That does not seem to work anymore. Why not, and is there a way to do both with the most current version? I am running a Surface Pro 2 with Windows 8.1 and the most recent vesion of iTunes, which, in all other respects, works well. I just can't listen to an album for the 1/2 to 1 hour that it takes to import it into my library.
