Answering your question would be easier given a screen shot of the source table and one of what you want the summary table to look like.
Is the data you want for each month in a single cell o the source table, or does the summary table need to collect February's data (for example) from several cells and do some math with those numbers before presenting them on the summary table?

I am using Adobe Reader X on a laptop with Windows Vista OS and Adobe Reader XI on an older laptop with Windows XP OS. While filling out the same form on each computer, I have found that I can save info on the older laptop, but not on the newer one. This is a big problem. I must be able to save on the newer computer. Do I need to buy a new computer with a more up-to-date OS? Please help.
Adobe Reader X can only save reader-enabled forms. Adobe Reader XI can save all forms.

I’m new to Mac and have a MacBook Pro Lion OS (10.6.8 I think !!!) with Parallels 7 (Windows 7) installed. Can someone please tell me what is the best software program that I can use to read, write and modify data / files on external HD (NTFS format) from the Mac OS ? I heard of Paragon and Tuxera NTFS. Are they free ? Are they good ? Are there any other software programs out there ? I heard that some people have issues with Paragon.
Thanks.Your best bet would be to take the drive to the oldest/compatible with that drive Windows PC and grab the files off, right click and format it exFAT (XP users can download exFAT from Microsoft) and then put the files back on.
Mac's can read and write all Windows files formats except write to NTFS (and in some cases not read) so if you can change the format of the drive to exFAT (all data has to be remove first) then you will have a drive that doesn't require paid third party NTFS software (a license fee goes to Microsoft) for updates.
Also it's one less hassle to deal with too.

I just bought a Mac Book Pro and the Appstore show one upgrade of iPhoto (9.2.1). I started a section with my Apple ID (the account that I have I use to iTunes) but when I try to update it says that there are upgrades available for other accounts and that I have to upgrade using the account that I used to buy iPhoto. I am using a table in Numbers to plot daily graph lines. Mood swings of how I am on the day, i"m a depressive.
If I fill a cell with a step box at say zero it plots the graph. I can't actually set the cell value until the actual day but the graph plots it at zero when I don't want it to plot anything. Is there a work around. so thatbgraph only plots on the day?The answer is (sort of) in your subject, but edited out of the problem statement in the body of your message.
When you use a stepper or a slider, the value in the cell is always numeric, and is always placed on the chart if that cell is included in the range graphed by the chart.
But if you use a pop-up menu cell, you can specify numeric or text values in the list of choices for in the menu. Numeric values will be shown on the chart. Text values will not.
For the example, the values list for the pop-up menu was:

The first pop-up was set to display Choose, then the cell was filled down the rest of the column. Any text value (including a single space, if you want the cell to appear blank) may be used instead of Choose.
For charts with negative Y values, the X axis will not automatically appear at Y=0. If your value set will include negative values, I would suggest setting the Y axis maximum and minimum to the maximum and minimum values on your menu list, rather than letting Numbers decide what range to include on the chart. Place a line shape across the chart at the zero level, and choose to NOT show the X axis.

is my iMac now useless as i have installed lion and i am no longer able to run cs2 photoshop and illustrator as this is all i use my mac for they should make this clear before buying it i can't afford the latest version of cs2 and cant believe what a waste of money it is.
The newest version of CS2 is CS5. And it was made very clear that these applications would not run in Lion. Not only by Apple, but on all sorts of communities and websites. It has been a long time coming - PowerPC apps were outdated six years ago. Lion does not support Rosetta, and therefore not PPC apps.
you have to options. Go back to Snow Leopard or upgrade your software. (MS Office 2004 and older will not run either).

I have an iphone 4 with videos on it that I'd like to transfer to an IMac so that I can email them. (the iphone isn't in use anymore.) What's the procedure for transfering videos from an iphone to an iMac?
Connect the iPhone to your Mac with its USB cable and launch iPhoto. In iPhoto you can select which files to upload into the library. Once in the library export them out of iPhoto to a folder on the Desktop via File ➙ Export ➙ File Export with Kind=Original. That will give you copies of the videos in the folder for use outside of iPhoto.
If you want to bypass importing into iPhoto try launching Image Capture and manually upload the selected video files to the folder of your choice.
