I have had no luck running Firefox 17 or 18 Beta and Windows 8. Both freeze within 10 seconds of launch. Firefox 16 works fine for me, and I've just downgraded until the issue is fixed. Thanks Alex, but sadly I already tried that. Neither .docx or .xlsx files show up in the content list. They both show as a Chrome HTML document so changing how Firefox addresses those doesn't help since it thinks its the same type of file. I don't think I can manually add files into the "Content Type" left side nav.

Also, does the add-on TopArcadeHits sound familiar? You might want to try disabling it here:

You can use these steps to disable the snippets on the about:home page:
* Set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref to an empty string on the about:config page
* Open about:home page in a tab
* Open Web Console in this tab (Firefox menu button or Tools > Developer)

* Close the tab with the about:home page

I would just like to ask another question with regards to my new order for complete Creative Cloud which you suggested. I have now pre-paid for a full year but I’m not
sure when I can start downloading the other APPS as they don’t seem to be updating on my current Creative Cloud account app display. It still shows my old configuration
of products (i.e. Photoshop etc) and my ‘activity stream’ relates back to 9 days ago.
Please let me know how to get my new order activated.

Since the latest update, every time I open my Firefox browser, it opens two tabs. The first tab is a "Meet Mozilla Firefox" tab and the second is my Yahoo! homepage. How do I stop the meet mozilla tab from opening and only have my yahoo homepage open?

How do you stop the visual voicemail offer. I've declined the offer several times but it keeps coming up. What can I do?

To Disable Visual Voice Mail
Sign in to your My Verizon online account. On left side of page find the drop down menu.
Click to open menu, then go to change features and locate Basic Visual Voice mail.
Locate the button Basic Visual Voice Mail and click the Red Remove Box.
Scroll down until you see the listing: Basic Voice Mail, Visual Voice Mail etc. and click the Red Add box by Basic Voice Mail to add on this service.
When you're done making changes click next at the bottom of the screen and then ok.
Go into your device and set up your required Basic voice mail program. You may continue to receive error “new voice mail message for a period of time”.
