I am being prompted to have Activex enabled by the Ford SyncMyRide website in order to download a software update for my car. Is Activex already part of Firefox or is it an Add-on I have to install?

Is there an ActiveX feature in Firefox? I have not been able to receive a software update from the Ford Motors Website because they claim my browser does not have ActiveX enabled. Please advise if this is an add-on.

MacBook Air 2012 and 2013 have different hardware, the update only applies to 2012. Nothing wrong with yours. If it says it's only for 2012 then it won't work on 2013.

The iTunes update must be downloaded and installed before you try and use it to update the iPhone OS
Download iTunes 10.2.2 from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1103
When it completes it will auto mount the disc image and show you the package installer, don't try and do anything with the file until it gets to this stage.
Once that's installed reboot the Mac, run iTunes, connect your iPhone and let it sync, then hit the update button and let it complete that step by itself (which will require a restart of the iPhone)

The seller should have given you the original disk so that you can reinstall as needed. But it likely was a single-user license (which really means single computer) so you can only have a copy on one computer at a time. If the seller didn't give you the disk he is probably still using the software on his new Mac. Your best option to get any of the iWork apps to use in OS X 10.6.6 or later is through the Mac App Store. You can then install them on any Mac you have that has access to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID.

Verify or Repair Disk Permissions
Then Restart your Mac.
Next...
Go here > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1581 and Download and Install the Combo Update.
After a Successful Install be sure to Restart your computer.

because you do not have a 3rd generation device. The OS Version says so , otherwise you would be at 4.3.5 minimum and also Itunes is also always correct in determining if you have the latest OS ( if not it fetches the newest from Apple's Servers ) . And because a 2nd generation iPod stops at 4.2.1 you can't get the newest OS, because your device is old. Buy a new iPod , they have iOS5 preinstalled.

Thank you for your reply, I did go to my general settings, but for some odd reason I don't have a restrictions setting, or a reset setting. I thought I could reset all the setting to see if it could be that, but as I said there aren't any.
My husband also has the iPad 2, and also did the software update and hasn't had any problems at all. I took both iPad's and compared the settings thinking maybe there could be a setting that could have been changed when the update was done.

Do you have the purchased serial number? What computer operating system?
If you purchased from Adobe direct, you can get download installation files from "My Orders" at the Adobe web site under your Adobe ID and Password (http://www.adobe.com).
Alternatively, you can use the following Adobe document with links to the downloads....

What upgrade did you apply? As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

Since the last software update for mountain lion I am having a problem when moving screenshots to trash. Now a Finder box appears saying finder wants to make changes and I have to enter my password for every action.
