I am being told I need a wpa2 password to login to wifi. The business where I am has a strong wifi And I'm using the correct password. Others here are able to log on. Why can't I? Brand new MacBook Air/snow Leopard. Any ideas? Thanks.

It's also possible you may have to reinstall photoshop cs5 even after installing the above java, because sometimes the upgrade to mac os x 10.10 messes up the photoshop cs5 installation.

Hi. I am new to using an iPad. I have set up an icloud email address for use by all the family.. I want to set up my own as my pop email does not seem to work well on this apple platform. I have tried to self help but I'm being asked to access the icloud mail preferences. I can't seem to do that. When I go into my mail app it takes me straight to my in box. I can't find a way of accessing preferences. Can someone help please?
An Alias would be an email address that is delivered to a different account's inbox.
For instance if you have [email protected] and have [email protected] Then [email protected] would be an alias if mails from that address arrive at the icloud address.
If you want to add a completely different account, with a spearate inbox, like an account in hotmail and one in say yahoo mail. Then as has been pointed out, you need to go into the Settings Icon, Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then on add account. The iPad has several services preconfigured, you can tap on one of those from the list to setup an email for that service. Such as Hotmail, Gmail etc...
Or you can tap on other to add a personal pop3 or imap type email like from your office, or your school. -
I have been trying to upgrade to OS Lion but am unable to as it requires 10.7 I have 10.6.8 and this is the latest upgrade I can get. How can I upgrade to Lion?
I have all the other requriements, except 10.7. How do I get that?I just re-checked and I dont have enough ram from the outset. So the first thing I need to do is get that installed.

I'm being told I need to download Flash player even though I have installed the latest version
I'm using a Mac with Mac OS X, Version 10.7.5, with Safari 6.0.2 as my browser. I haven't had any problems with Flash player until today. Now suddenly, when I try to view Flash content, it tells me I need to download/install the latest version of Flash Player. However, I have installed it multiple times. I even uninstalled it and re-installed it, re-started my computer, etc, and it still won't work. What else can I try??
Does this happen with all Flash content? Do you see the animation and version info when you go to this page?

An iPad 1 can only be updated to iOS 5.1.1.
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update.

I have a password set for my lock screen, but it is not the "owner password" apparently, and now I cannot save anything. Any ideas how to fix this?
First up, you really should have more than one account. A "Standard" account for doing your normal work, and an "Admin" account for installing software and doing potentially damaging system actions.
OS X requires that you have at least one Admin account, so it seems that you have been using the Admin account as your general working account, which is kind of dangerous, and may explain why you are having problems. It could be that you have inadvertently damaged something.
Now I'm trying to figure out the next steps. Did you mean to say that when you set up this account, you set it up with no password? Maybe if you did that, you could define a password for this account and see if that changes things. -
At switch on it needs a WPA2 and a WPA password every time
Every time I switch on it is not connected to my WiFi and says it needs a WPA2 password which i enter then when I switch on again later it says I need a WPA password which I enter. It's request alternates every time. Very boring!!
Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

I am need of help! I have had this issue for a while now and it's becoming frustrating.
My iTunes installed on my HP Windows 8 Netbook is unable to recognize my iPod, the error message along the lines of "iTunes has detected an iPod but unable to recognise"

When you say reset your settings do you mean to factory settings? As my iPod was swapped at the store for a new one and the problem is still there...

I have an old Airport Extreme that I want to password protect. I being told that Airport Utility 5.6 is needed to manage the base station. When I download it and try to install that utility I told that it is not compatible with OS X 10.7.4
The odds are that you downloaded AirPort Utility 5.6.1.....which will only work with Leopard and Snow Leopard Macs.
Since your post indicates that you are using Lion 10.7.4, you need the correct utility for Lion. The link is below:
