I am connected to internet but I can't get on mozilla or internet explorer- mozilla just keeps going connecting

all of a sudden I can not connect to mozilla or internet explorer. Mozilla just keeps saying connecting and goes nowhere. This started today. Yesterday it was working fine. I am connected to the internet. Nothing changed in the plug ins to the computer. The search engines just stopped working.I have no idea what to do. The rest of the stuff on my computer is working. I use Mozilla a lot and really need to get it working again. I have tried rebooting computer. I have hooked up and unhooked my modem. I phoned my internet company and as I say the internet is running.

I don't have the disk and i tried the shift key and it didn't do anything, i have tried like everything but it won't work and i was givin this computer with a charger and that is all nothing came with it and i don't think that it had the lion thing on it either i never got to that it just won't turn on and i have another mac that was a family members but it won't turn on either at all it won't load anything the screen stays black. so i don't really know at all what to do is there anything else? i don't want to take it anywhere because i have no money for that, and i need this computer for school. It sounds like you cannot print from your network printer on your MacBook. Printer issues can be a but tough to nail down, but I would recommend trying the troubleshooting in this article named:

Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:
Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.

Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.

Can connect to internet, but software can't find base station

I bought the Airport express a few months ago to use with my stereo and IBM laptop. It took me a few tries to get it initially installed properly, but eventually did and everything worked great. A month or so ago I noticed that the tab to select "remote speakers" was not on my iTunes as it had been before. All of the settings were correct on my iTunes however so then I went to the AirPort Utility to check out the settings and the program said it could not find the base station. I tried to find the station on AirPort Set-up assistant. This program can find it but not connect to it (on the first page after the menu it shows the base station and when I hit "next" it can't connect to the station). All of this is really odd as I have internet access through this base throughout these problems. Any ideas what might be happening and how to fix it? I have reset the base station to factory settings numerous times, I have unplugged everything and restarted the whole process numerous times, I even left the base station unplugged for a week to let it relax. Still nothing works. I can connect to the internet through the station but can not find the station.

My wi fi is connecting up fine on my ipod but i can't get onto the internet. My ipod has been working fine until now and i have tried re- setting the network settings and all the other options that have been given but nothing seems to make any difference. If i try to get onto internet at all on my ipod, for instance, facebook and safari it will just come up no internet connection, even when the bar is full at the top. Can anyone help ?

Despite the WiFi sign at the top you may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. To check on this go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix for this can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If this problem continues you should test your iPod on some other networks. Since you say your iPod was "working fine" either it or your router may have developed a hardware problem. If the iPod works OK on other networks your router may have a problem.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Without the use of the internet the software that i want to install i.e sage instant accounts will be useless. Can anyone help please? i also have a problem of ejecting the cd disc. i press the normal eject button and nothing happens. The only way i could eject the windows 7 disc was to toggle to the mac side of the computer and it would eject from there. Does anyone know how to do this from the windows side?

You have not installed the Boot Camp drivers.
Start up in OS X and download the Windows support software from this site > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1638 Follow the steps of the link except the ones to install Windows.
Then, start up in Windows and install the Windows support software

That is, is it connected directly to a broadband modem or to another router upstream of it? Regardless, what is the make & model of this modem?

You are making some progress with setup of wireless network. Apparently there is reliability problem with the wireless connection. Perhaps you want to refer to following Apple support documents and start tweaking parameters in the router to improve the reliability. I used to have third-party routers such as Belkin and Netgear but switched to Apple Airport routers (Time Capsule then Airport Extreme for now) because of incompatibility issues whenever Apple upgrade Mac OS X. But since Apple develops Airplay protocol as alternative to Bluetooth for wireless audio/video streaming (with much better bandwidth) and must be deployed in any wireless network, there is no reason third-party routers not working for Airplay protocol.

The Wi-Fi connections section is in Settings > Wi-Fi
If the home screen is not visible tap the Home button, the button on the front of your iPad that has the rounded square in it. Once you reach the Home screen swipe through the screen of apps until you find the Settings app. Tap Settings and go to Wi-Fi.
If your iPad is completely non responsive, try a restart.
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep button simultaneously ignoring the red slider. Keep holding until the Aple logo appears and your iPad will restart.
The sleep button is on the side of your iPad on the side opposite from the Home button.

Apparently it is not an issue with wifi since Safari, You Tube and Maps work well, I’ve tried some of the tips, e.g. log off/on my Id, change password but no one worked.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.
