I Can open my email but can not open any links

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
It's probably not the cause of your problem, but you should update the iOS to iOS 7.1.2

  • My  ipad is connected to the wi-fi but still wont open any web pages. what should I do?

I need help with using the internet. my ipad is connected to the wi-fi but there's still a problem opening the web page.

Reboot your router by powering it down for 30 seconds. Power off your iPad.
Power up your router and make sure it completes its startup and acquires a good connection to the Internet. Then power up your iPad. Go to settings > Wi-Fi then select your Wi-Fi network and tap on Forget this Network. Then let the iPad try to connect again. Be sure any required password is entered correctly.

  • Mozzilla is not connecting to the internet and I can not uninstall Mozilla??

I have had connection problems and did a system restore since then mozilla will not open to the internet and I can't uninstall it. What do I need to do?

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"
    See "Firefox connection settings":
*[[Firefox cannot load websites but other programs can]]
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

    * [[Server not found]]

  • It says I am connect to wireless internet, but can not open any pages or email.

I've tried restarting, I've checked my wireless on/off switch on side of laptop. I've checked to be sure I'm not working "off line". I've tried re-entering my "key". Nothing seems to work!

    Ok, thanks!
... and how are you connected to the Internet? Wireless DSL/Cable modem/router? If so, what is the make/model of this modem/router?
    Let's also double-check your MacBook's AirPort settings ...
System Preferences > Network > Show > Network Port Configurations
o Verify that an AirPort option exists. If it does not, click "New" to create one. (Note: If you are unable to create an AirPort configuration, the AirPort card in your computer either doesn't exist or it is not recognized.)
o Verify that AirPort is "On" (checked)
o Verify that AirPort is at the top of the list. If it isn't, you can drag it to the top.
Systems Preferences > Network > Show > AirPort
    AirPort tab
    o By default, join: Automatic
    TCP/IP tab
    o Configure IPv4: Using DHCP
    o Configure IPv6: Off
    Proxies tab
    o Configure Proxies: Manually
o Select a proxy server to configure: <All proxies should be unchecked unless you specifically require a proxy for Internet access.>
    o Exclude simple hostnames (unchecked)
o Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains: <leave blank>
o Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV) (checked)
    Do these settings match yours?

  • Mini will open to desktop but can not open any apps

We can get the Mini up to the desktop, but it will not let us open any apps or shutdown. I can not remember what version of OS I have and can not open information about the Mini.

Does the mouse seem to be working?
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
    If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

  • New iPod Touch connected to wifi but will not open any browser

I just purchased an I pod touch w/ the software upgrade included, but the touch will not connect to a web browser through safari, youtube, or any internet based channels. I use a belkin router which is showing up under the settings in my iPod Touch. The connection is a 15meg DL and 1 meg UL so I don't believe that speed would be a problem. Please Help

Despite the WiFi connection sign you may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address when the iPod requested it. To check on this go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix for this can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Have downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor from the Mac App Store onto my Mac Book Pro, set i photo preferences to Adobe PSE 10 editor, but when I try to open a file from my photo library, the following message appears: "could not complete your request because of a program error". • HT4641 Since the ISO update I can not open any x.docx or x.xlsx or zipx

I used to the pages, quick office and textilus for documents. For Xls I have used  calc free xls, numbers and quickoffice. For the zip file I have used the izip pro. Now none of the new office format (docx, xlsx) or zipx would open.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
