Yes you can. In iPhoto create a Album with the photos you want in it. You can drag them from your Events folder. In iTunes with your iPad connected go to Photos by cliking on your iPad. You can then select the album or events you want.

When finished editing click File->Save/Save As and you can either overwrite the original file or rename it and save as new file keeping original intact.

I have both Photoshop 4 and Photoshop 6 on my computer. When I am in Bridge and want to open an image by double clicking, it automatically opens in 6. I see, when I go to "open with" 6 is listed as "default" How can I change the default to open an image with a double click in 4?
You can associate files from the Bridge level and the Desktop level.
In Bridge CS4, go to Preferences > File Type Associations and change it to Photoshop CS4 for the file types you want.

To add to sig's reply, "calibrating" does not calibrate Lithiu-Ion batteries, it calibrates the charge reporting circuitry. If you look at the effect of deep discharging Lithium-Ion batteries in the data from the independent test group, Battery University, you will see that doing so shortens the life of the battery significantly. Photoshop Elements 12 Crashes Computer While in Photo Editor
How can I get Photoshop Elements 12 to stop crashing when I am editing photos? This has become a huge problem. I even installed a new copy of the program and it still happens. I also have had to make multiple catalogs and still have many problems with PE12, most notable being it crashes the entire computer --- causes a full shutdown and restart --- when I am editing photos. Help!
Uninstalling and reinstalling almost never solves these kinds of problems. Has it ever worked right? What version of OS X are you using?

I installed a new printer and now Photoshop Elements tells me I can't print. The error message is "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing." I have uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop Elements, checked my printer settings and still I can't print a photo.

My ipod was set up on a Mac. Now I have a PC and want to sync my music on iTunes, but I can't without reformatting my drive and losing my music. Help. I no longer have a Mac. I want to keep the music and videos I purchased. Since it is an iPod classic (80GB) I cannot even use the iCloud. Is there a way to move my ipod's music so I can reformat it to my pc?
WIndows is asking you to reformat the iPod's hard disk because it's probably in the Mac OS X Extended Journaled file system format which the Windows OS can neither read or write to. Reformatting will erase all content from the device and rebuild the filesystem as FAT32 unless you specify it as NTFS (which you shouldn't do).
If you want to be able to use your iPod to copy music from your Mac to your PC, you'll need to either pre-format it as FAT32 using Disk Utility on your Mac and then copy everything over to your PC, or use third party software such as XPlay that allows a Windows PC to read and write to a Mac formatted iPod.
Perhaps you could take a look at this article for other ways to copy your iTunes library and files from your Mac to the PC.

How can I edit photos in iPhoto in Photoshop Elements? I select PE in iPhoto preferences but they stay in iPhoto for editing.
Here's something you can try with a copy of your current library.
1 - go to iPhoto's Events preference pane and set the auto split option to 1 day per even.
2 - go the the Events mode, select all Events.
3 - go to the Events menu and and select Autosplit Selected Events.
which will give you an event for each day.
4 - again select all events (although it might be better do to fewer at a time) and export them to your desired destination via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu option with the following settings:
The workflow above will produce a folder for each days photos with the date as the folder's title. -
Can I FTP large photos directly from iphoto or Photoshop Elements?
I have been uploading large jpegs onto another server using ftp plug-in with Aperture. But it strips the photo info, captions etc from the file, which is crucial information for my clients. Does any one know why this is happening, If I could ftp directly from iphoto or Photoshop elements even, it would be easier for me as I don't find aperture useful for multiple batch changes in file names and captions.
Currently I have been editing the file names and comments in iphoto, exporting 'version name' (other wise it exports the original file name) to a folder on the desktop and then importing these files into aperture where I use a plug in AperturetoFTPpro. I do have the export version box checked and not the 'master' box - By now i've lost track of which it thinks the 'master' or 'version' is!

When i look at the metadata in aperture, I can't see the captions, but if i open the same file in photoshop and do 'apple i' the info is there.To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to FTP directly out of iPhoto that's built into iPhoto, but you can try asking in the iPhoto forum where if anyone knows how you'll be more likely to get a response. There is a third-party product called PhotoUpLink that the developer says works with iPhoto that you could try.
The same applies to your Aperture question; try asking in the Aperture forum, though if you're using the demo plugin that comes in the Aperture Plug-In SDK, that's really not intended to be "production quality" but rather just an example of plugin development, so it may well lack capabilities or otherwise have issues. You might take a look at PhotoUpLink or Uberload for Aperture,
Not using Photoshop Elements I can't say about that, but Adobe runs their own forums for that here where you could ask.

When I upload photos from my old lightroom 3 program they come into photoshop at 14% zoom percentage which is what I want them to come in at so I can zoom them in to detail the skin. What might have changed settings wise between the 2 programs, I cannot figure it out.
