I am Disgusted with the amount of problems with the Iphone.. is it worth it

I have been trying to fix my phone for the last 5 days now.. after hours and hours, foruming, reading the whole apple website (it feels like) there is still no solution to my problem. When i turn my phone on its a Picture of a USB cable pointing to itunes logo, and it doesn't do anything else.. not even a red slider bar or anything at all.
I have tried to restore on Mac and Windows, i have tried all version of itunes, re installed it all many of times, deleted all traces and re installed. Read all the error issues. Tried to restore in all Phone Modes with everything.
So what now apple?

Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Try booting in Safe Mode by holding the the shift key immediately after powering on your system. Safe boot mode will for a directory check of your startup volume, then load only the required kernal extensions (kext files), and deletes some cache files. Once the system boots into Safe Mode you can simply restart the system to see whether the issue has been resolved.
If you still have the issue try resetting the SMC by shutting down the system and disconnecting the power cord for ~15 seconds, then reconnecting the power cord. Next, reset the parameter RAM (PRAM) by holding down the option-option-P-R keys after powering ON the system. Wait until the iMac restarts twice, then let the system boot normally.

Open Disk Utility and select your hard drive, then Repair Permissions, it will probably return a very large number of errors, primarily printer and library errors, so run it a second time. Then restart the MacBook Pro. If it still will not scan, try using Image Capture from Finder > Applications and see if that will work. If not, contact Xerox about updated drivers.

Frustrating problem: Help with add file name problem with Photoshop CS4. What happens is this. When I am in PS CS4 or CS3 and run the following script it runs fine. When I am in Bridge and go to tools/photoshop/batch and run the same script it runs until it wants interaction with preference.rulerunits. The amount of storage that is shown on the box and in Settings are calculated differently - the package uses 1 billion bytes as a gig (i.e. decimal), whereas in Settings it's shown as the binary definition : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2419

I just want to give a work-around for all of you having the image display problem in the iTunes Store. In my case only the square images in the slider sections won't load:
I had this in my last W7-installation and got it again in W8 after the first few weeks.
There are a lot of reports about this problem out there and adhoc solutions like 'clear the cache' or 'reinstall and drink ice tea' that do not work. It is obviously a file request error. It is all about finding out which server addresses get blocked by your computer.
Solution: Go to your firewall and your Anti-virus-program. There must be a whitelist option. In Kaspersky, check the web-options, the banner-options and the firewall-options, because the all have whitelists. The following addresses have to be whitelisted:

*.mzstatic.com.edgesuite.net
*.da1.akamai.net
*.itunes.apple.com
