I am facing problem in playing yahoo pool in Firefox 4 while it was working fine in Firefox 3.6. In Firefox 4 the combination of mouse keys are not working properly.

I updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the middle scroll button on my Lenovo T400 stopped working. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html and then uninstalled the "Thinkpad Ultranav Driver" from Add/Remove programs rebooted and then installed the updated utility and driver (another reboot) and it now works perfectly.
So glad to get this working again.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Letter keys are not working on MacBook Air when playing games?

Hello. I'm using 10.6.6 on my MacBook Air 2.1 (2009 model).
I've got a really strange issue when playing games (any game produces this issue). ONLY the letter keys aren't working. The rest is working - numbers, function keys, arrows, tab, enter, delete, etc. Only the keys A to Z are not working.
This happens both on native games (like Hedgewars from App Store) and ported ones (like Need for speed).
What's the issue?

[HW Problem] Some numbers and left and right keys are not working

Numbers one, two, three, four, eight, nine, zero, left, down, and right arrow keys constantly stop and start working. This also happens in the BIOS. I have to remove the keyboard, the hdd, and do a reboot to get them working.

Then I wouldn't think it's to do with the Arch, updating does not stop parts of the keyboard working for the bios as it's separate firmware. When you can access the bios after first turning on, your PC has not yet accessed the hard drive to load the drivers for the operating system yet. Also as far as I'm aware Arch (or any other operating system in fact) has never updated the bios firmware.

HT204409 I keep seeing "change my router" as a solution to wifi problems, I cannot change hotel routers! ***, please Apple, I have been a big fan but this is crazy, only my Apple products are not working on wifi!

This wifi issue is bad, all other products I have work fine, but my iPad (fully update, re-installed, re-booted, etc...) will not work. Time to return it and switch to another vendor? the iPad should work with most wifi routers. There are some old wife routers it may not. Your ipad coiuld have a hardware problem.
Does it work with some routers? Have you hung out in the lobby of the hotel and asked if other ipad users are having a problem. What does the hotel staff say?
You could carry a mini wifi router with you and connect the mini via ethernet cable.
Find the make and model of the wifi router. We can check if other ipad owners are having problem.

This is probably something you should take your computer into Apple for repair. You might check your language settings in the language Preferences and look at the input sources tab.

Welcome to Discussions.
If you don't have access to another keyboard right now as Ferd II suggests, you could check the settings in System Preferences.
Go to System Preferences > International. Tab to Input Menu. Select the right keyboard format for your country, and check you have the right script as well. In English speaking countries, lets say you are in the US, the script would read Roman.
It depends where you live. You could post that information if you wish further assistance.

Elements Organizer - some WMV are not displayed properly in the Play Video but are in Play Vide on Full screen. What's the problem? Wrong codec?

Because WMV's can contain a lot of flags, like DRM, they can exhibit odd behavior, indeed.
Usually, AV files will display in their native resolution, i.e. in their set Frame Size/Aspect Ratio and with their set PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio), but sometimes those flags are missed, or are altered by other programs.
Remember, WMV's are designed to be streaming delivery-only, and are not intended, or designed to be edited. Most NLE's (Non Linear Editors) will allow them to be edited, but will require extra processing to do so. As is mentioned, WMM is designed around editing that delivery-only format, but most others are not.
There are many other formats/CODEC's, that ARE designed to be edited by the vast majority of NLE's, such as DV-AVI Type II's.
The best workflow is to NOT bring WMV's into the mix, unless one is using WMM exclusively. Converting those to an easily editable format/CODEC will always be the best course of action.

Yes there genuine apple earphones I have now blown down jack slot and silly enough I turned my phone off and now it's back on earphones working properly now feeling a wee but silly as such a simple thing got them working.

The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius.
