After having no internet for over 24hrs, my IPad has completely shut down. I have tried everything I can think of, including a reset but think that was a really bad move!! Any ideas for how to get my pad back? Simple words please..I am not a pro AT ALL.

My internet was down for over 24hrs after a storm. During that time, my IPad completely shut down and I can't get it going again. I studied the manual but couldn't find a similar topic. I reset it and now it is totally goofed up.
Does anyone have any ideas or should I just take it to an Apple store and pay?? Any solutions you may have, PLEASE use simple words as I am not a pro, by any means....probably why I'm in this situation.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I have tried everything I can find online to correct this. Nothing works and all I can find online is dated 2008. Surely Apple has found a cure for this problem by now. This happened with my hp Photosmart Premium c309a as well. I thought it was a printer problem but It's happening now with the 7510 that is only a week old. And please, if you have a cure, don't explain in high tech computer language. I'm ok with the computer but not that up on high tech stuff. Thanks.

It is connected wirelessly. The other printer was connected with a USB. Getting it to print again---usually by just turning printer off and back on again. This usually results in getting 1 page printed. Then I have to do it again. I have deleted printer and reinstalled. I have changed IP from automatic to manual. I unplugged printer for a short time (1-2 minutes) and plugged back in. I have restarted both IMAC and printer after each process. This is really frustrating and time consuming, driving me nuts.

Whenever I go to a site the print gets smaller and the page shifts from left to right. I have tried everything but when I use Google Crome it always is fine. I like fowfire best and I was wondering if there is a promblem on your side.

I fixed the issue. It was related to the DEP settings on my windows machine.

No other problems elsewhere, either in Adobe or Word or my entire computer for that matter. Very strange glitch. Ran several deep virus checks - nothing. Booted and re-booted. Entered different ways into Adobe, no help. Thought about my keyboard (wireless of course) might be doing it, but in other web-sites and in WORD - no problems.
I use WINDOWS 8.1. Also doubled checked my up-date status. Is there a chance that this is a continuing problem that is still being encountered from the last major Adobe up-date? Use Adobe for years with never a problem until the latest up-date. Parting thought, maybe just my batteries in my keyboard are getting low, or a really low threshold virus of some sort, no idea. Yes, a very frusterating issue indeed. Someone else had mentioned a possible issue with real player, I tried getting rid of that and same issues. I even got completely rid of firefox for the moment. Guess what, problem still is persisting. I think this means it maybe something else altogether. I will go back to re-add firefox after I get this straightened out but now using Chrome for the moment.
What I've also found out is that the sound can be restarted when I unplug and replug in the 3.5mm speaker cable from the audio output jack on the back of the computer. Any ideas?

Put the ipod touch in recovery mode and then restored it, setting it up as a new Ipod, rather than restoring from the backup. Given how much trouble I'd had, I suspected that the backup might be corrupted anyway.
That seems to have resolved everything completely.

I am using my ipad to transfer some mp3s over to my ipad. some go over, most do not. I even had trouble with videos syncing over. I am running version 6.13. I have plenty of space left but they just wont get on there. This is what happens. I take a video I have and make an mp3 out of it sometimes, sometimes its just plain mp3s. I do the conversion and it comes out fine but it goes to my computer itunes and not on my ipad. no they are already in mp3 format I just tried that home sharing today because I couldnt find any other reason why they werent syncing. here is an example of a sync I just tried. I made an mp4 concert into an mp3 it came out perfect on my computer.. then I tried to sync it to my ipad with no luck, other than it going on my computer, it did not show up anywhere on my ipad in any area of the music sections etc playlists, songs, albums etc. Its just not there but remains on my computer. thats why I tried the home share today to see if that would help. Either I am really missing something or there is something wrong with this ipad.
