I am getting a runtime error message that won't allow itunes to open when I plug in my ipod.  Any suggestions?? I already rebooted my computer.  It worked fine yesterday.

I am getting a run time error message that I've never seen before, it won't allow me to connect my ipod touch with windows.  It says:  An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
I have no idea what this means but it was working fine yesterday when I connected it.
I have rebooted my computer and nothing has been fixed.

Did you do this:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
