I am getting an alert in my Antivirus for Buffer Overflow whenever I launch or close my Firefox Browser. This has been happening since I upgraded to the Firefox 15. I didn't have this problem before. I having been using Firefox since many years & never faced such an issue. But this new issue has saddened me. Also whenever I close my Firefox browser the process is not getting ended in the Task Manager. When I try to launch again its throwing an alert saying that "the firefox is not responding. You must close the existing firefox process or else restart your system". Please debug this as I have been fellow open-source lover & would be happy if you guys release a fixed update & if no one else should starts facing this issue ever again. Thanks in Advance guys!!!

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

If you don't have a cellular data plan, then why are you expecting that you will have an active internet connection unless you are connected to wi-fi?
iMessages require either wi-fi or a cellular data connection.

That is a very good warning provided by the Download Statusbar extension. Something like that should been built into Firefox. I filed this Bug report a couple of years ago, about the lack of a warning like that.

I have looked everywhere that I can think of to find a list of '''IOfficeAntiVirus providers''' ''(as mentioned in the Bug report)'' that will work with Firefox, so I can't answer that for you.
You might want to ask the developer of the Download Statusbar extension about it. He might know which AV programs are compatible with the Windows API that Firefox uses for the download scan.

Have you tried to manually update the individual programs?

Does this error appear after you complete the download and start up the installer file? If so, you may need to restart Windows. Sometimes the Windows Installer accumulates a backlog of changes and stops working correctly until you restart your system and let it clear its queue.

I keep getting the "Cannot Load Backups" error message on my iPad when trying to load my old settings, this has been happening for two days

Keep getting msg "Cannot start Mobile Hotspot due to temporary network problem. Please try again later" This has been happening for the last 3 days!

Has anyone seen this problem? I need to have this function working as part of my job and I'm going to be out of reach of hotspots starting tomorrow. It's critical I get this working asap.

HT204406 Whenever my computer tries to sync my tracks via iTunes match, I get a message that says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (4002)...please try again later." This has been happening for 4 months now.

...how do I resolve this issue? It's irritating for several reasons:
1) My new songs do not appear in match on my other devices because of this error
2) My itunes turns itself on automatically when it knows it needs to match; then the icon starts jumping up and down when the error occurs, distracting me from whatever I'm doing about ever 15 minutes at times.
3) I've paid for this. It's working so badly.

Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

If you uninstall and reinstall Quicktime, does that help? Click Start, then Control Panel. HT6114 My Outlook keeps forcing me to Quit after opening usually I get 30 seconds then it shuts down. This has only occurred since I installed the latest version of Mavericks 10.9.2, I'm off to the Apple store to see if it can be fixed.

@Bee, there is no update patch from Microsoft since the 10.9.2 OS update. I'm not sure if this will help with the OP's issue but I found a fix for my issue. Just hold down the Option key when launching Outlook. It will launch a Database Utility that backs up the original identity and reloads it. It worked fine after that and all my emails were in tact (thank goodness).

When I open Mozilla it says netwok error, error occurred contacting the DNS server. I can get into bookmarks and into the programs that I saved. This has been happening since July 22nd. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same problem over here as well, FF 7 is ok but FF8 / FF9 and Thunderbird 8 / 9 crash on startup.
They both work if I start them in safe mode with everything enabled.
