If you don't know the sender, then it is most likely a scam or spam email. I get them every day - I just delete them. I also get daily notices from Facebook or someone called Adriana at Facebook even though i do not have an account there. Can't do anything about it - just delete it.

Reinstalled iTunes 10.7 and now get an error message about the iTunes Store when iTunes opens

I just reinstalled iTunes 10.7 on my pc (Windows Vista 64-bit) after that disastrous iTunes 11, and now when iTunes opens, I get an annoying error message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (4002)" I click on OK and I have no problem with iTunes opening and playing anything but how can I get rid of this annoying message? I'm not even trying to get into the iTunes Store.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Otherwise you might try setting up a new user account and see if you still have the problem when logged into that.
Most likely you have a bad .plist in Home/Library/Preferences

Why do I get an error message about 'purging the central cache' everytime I open Bridge?

Whenever I open Bridge I get an error message about the cache not being able to be read and that I should try purging the central cache in Cache Preferences.
I've looked at the Cache Preferences and purged the cache as it suggested, but this message comes up every time I open Bridge. Any help gratefully received.

Your central cache file seems corrupted and you ave to delete this manual. Regarding your screenshot you seem to be on a Mac.
Per OSX 10.7 the user library is hidden, if you don't have your user library in view use menu go in Finder with option key to reveal this library.
Quit Bridge, go to your user library (user (your username) / library / Caches/ Adobe/ Bridge CSxx (your version) and inhere are a plug in file and a folder called Cache.
Drag both files outside of the library (preferable to the trash) and restart Bridge. This creates both deleted files again but the cache folder is empty and you need to recache your files again (takes a bit of time) but then you should be OK.

I am also having this same problem. I have updated my computer. I have downloaded the complete brother driver package from Apple as well as the drivers from Brother. As far as I can tell, all have been installed successfully. It is only when I try to ADD the printer do I get that message. Both my roomate and I have Macbook Airs so we cant use the disk which came with the printer. This is irrelivant anyway as the drivers have been successfully downloaded and installed. When I called the support at AT&T they think the phone is shot and it is a hardware thing but i have a hard time believing that when it happened when I sync'd it to my computer. It did get progressively worse though, at first it crashed not that often and then got worse. So restores are failing, recovery, everything. Anyone run into this?

Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them originally. Did you try entering your old password and see if that works?
If you need to sign out of your old account go to Settings>Store>Tap on your ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.
you can also access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and you will find it there as well.

The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations. Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.
