You would need to have burned the disc using iDVD or a third-party application such as Toast. Is that what you did?

  • Error message trying to install Adobe Download Assistant (Sorry an Error has occured... certificate problem)

I am trying to download the free trial of Acrobat XI. I am using an iMac running Mac OSX 10.6.8. When I click on the Installer I have downloaded for Adobe Download Assistant, it gives me the following error message while trying to open/install the Download Assistant:s
    Sorry, an error has occured.
The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author.
    Can anybody help?

Lmslugo please move your current installation to the trash can, empty the trash, and reinstall.  This should give you a new copy of the application with a current certificate.

  • Error message trying to update.

I tried to update my MBP17 and got the following error message:
    Extension Manager 6.0.7 Update
    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
    Adobe Photoshop 13.0.6
Done with Errors. Error Code: U44M1P6
I can't seem to chat with support at Adobe so the forum is it.  Does anyone know what this means?

It seems error is coming due to ExMan failure. Ps must be updated now, Verify the same by Ps->About Photoshop.
    Try installing ExMan from here:
    http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html
After successful installation try updating again through Help->Update.
If it still sxists then for ExMan issue please provide us with the following logs.
    You can find them at:
    ExMan Installer logs
    For Mac:
    Library\Logs\Adobe\Installer
    AAM logs
    /Volumes/%Volume Name%/Users/%Username%/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0
You can zip all the files together and send us through mail. This would help us in finding the root cause.

  • I keep geting an error message trying to update to ios 5 on my Ipad.  Can anyone help?

I can't update to ios 5.  Keep getting error message.

What is the error message ? If it's a network timeout message then try temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed. If it's a different error then telling us what it is might mean someone on here can help

  • I'm trying to update my iPad 2 but an error keeps popping up after the extracting part...

im trying to update it to OS 5.0.1 or whatever, and it gets through everything until the extracting part and an error pops up. i have the most recent iTunes, i temporarily disabled the antivirus and firewall, and i reset my whole ipad... what now!

If you continue and you lose everything, you will be able to download most of the content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID. You can read this about downloading past purchases.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
But before you continue and lose everything, try this.
Eject your iPad, quit iTunes and restart your computer. Then launch iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. See if you have mutliple iPad backups showing in there. If you have multiple backups, delete all but one of them. Also check the box at the bottom that turns off auto sync .... Prevent iPods ......Click OK and Then quit iTunes.
Connect the iPad again and launch iTunes. Right click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes and select backup. See if the iTunes will create a backup. If it does, after it finishes, click on the Summary Pane on the right and click on check for update. Try to update again.
If it all goes OK, after you update the iOS you can back to Edit>Preferences>Devices and turn on atuo sync again - assuming that is how you want to sync.

  • Getting an error message trying to update Adobe Flash Player

Every time I try to update Flash Player for Firefox, by downloading the update from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
    I get the following error:
    Host
    "Unable to load application configuration"
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In case one of your extensions is blocking data that the site needs, could you try Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)
    Any difference?

  • Error message trying to update apps

I am getting message "an error has occurred" every time I try to update my apps.  My iPad updates work fine and nothing else seems to be affected.  What's going on??  Please help.

I've been having this problem for hours and I was tearing my hair out - I was thisclose to restoring.
I didn't find anything helpful online, but then my boyfriend found a suggestion: Go to Settings and select Store. Tap the "Apple ID: xxxx" field, then tap Sign Out. After that, sign back in again and then try to update your apps.
    It worked for me!

  • Error message trying to load iTunes

I started getting this error message trying to load iTunes a few days ago:
"error writing to file: C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\es.lproj\iPhone Help.chm. Verify that you have access to that directory."
Anyone know how to fix this?

Sorry about the delay. (Bad cold and some connection problems too.)
Hmmm. The first version of it is probably being thrown by the iTunes Setup Assistant (which involves an installer routine).
The second set of circumstances is a bit more familiar (especially if it's accompanied by a 2330 error message number).
Often it's file damage or (disk damage near a file) that causes those messages. So let's try running a Chkdsk over the C drive:
How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, does it stop giving you that message when you try to launch or upgrade?

My MB Pro is no longer syncing my iPad in iTunes. It did in the beginning, however I had to change my MB Pro password. Now I get a permissions error message trying to sync: "error storing your authorization information on this computer." Can you help?

First I would just try deleting the SCInfo folder, restart your computer, open itunes and see if you are still getting the error, at that point if you are it is a permissions error with the computer specificaly and not in itunes.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
that is for deleting the scinfo folder. scroll to the bottom of the article and the steps are there
