I am getting an error when I run parameterized java program in Eclipse 3.1

When I tried to compile an example, java app, I this error.
I checked, the jre it is using is 1.5.
Could any one you suggest how to resolve this and why this problem?

I got it. It is under windows/preference/java/compiler/compatibility. This fixes the problem.

I keep getting an error when trying to install Java for OS X 2014-001

I was trying to download this because I was getting errors when trying open some applications saying you need Java 6 and it directed me to the download link for this but it always gets and error when installing.

Running a java program with eclipse

Hi,
I'm trying to run this java program(below) in eclipse..when i go to the 'run' icon inorder to choose the option 'run as' then 'java application' , i have 'none applicable' as the only option available. is it possibly because the program uses threads?

Infact, i wanted to run the main program called 'Serveur' but it uses 'LeServeur'( the code i sent before') and apparently it gives me an error msg that it doesnot recognise the 'LeServeur'...that's why i was thinking that i should probably first compile the 'LeServeur' so that it can be recognised in the 'Serveur' program.

I solved the problem. The invoked method was not part of the VO, but was part of the AM.

After upgrade to lastest version af iTunes (10.3.1, I believe), I get this error, when iTunes runs the update of my iTunes library

I get this error message from Windows: Instruction af 0x76f8de2d referred memey at 0x000000ca. Memory could not be written.
The iTunes stops working.
I am running Windows Vista with lastest updates from Microsoft. My iTunes folder is located on a QNAP nas drive. I have around 58500 podcast, about 15 CDs, some iPhone apps in my iTunes folder.
What do I do?

That's most likely a problem with a library file or a content file, Per.
I'd perhaps try a library recreation first. There's advice for both types of issues in the User-specific troubleshooting section of the following document:

Running a java program outside eclipse...!

Hi guys...!
I wrote a java program that uses different classes. The program deals with xml documents and creates a new xml document. The problem is, the program works fine in eclipse, but when I run through the command line in windows, it complains that it can't see the different classes that I created. Here is one of the error messages:
Test.java:44:cannont find symbol
symbol : class Circuit
location : class src.Test
Circuit cir = new Circuit ();
Note: Test.java uses unchecked or unsafe operations.
Note: Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details
Does anyone know how to resolve this...?

I think the problem is probably something like this:
You have a path thus:
C:\blahblahblah\With a subdirectory thus:
C:\blahblahblah\srcIn which you have declared classes thus:
package src;
public class Foo {
}And you have then used a classpath something like the
following:
javac -classpath C:\blahblahblah\src Foo.javaThis is incorrect. Your classpath needs to point to
the root of the package hierarchy. If it's like the
above, it will look in C:\blahblahblah\src for a
package src, which results in a path like
C:\blahblahblah\src\src which does not exist.
You should set it to:
C:\blahblahblah\Where that is the root from which your packages
stem.

table C_T_DATA and the work area L_MCCOMVTTS have the smae fileds with same data element .
i think somewhere ther is adifference that why systerm is umable to populate the table data in to work area..

NoClassFoundError exception while running the java program

Hi,
I am getting the following exception while running a java program CSTToGMTToSQL.java

However, the class file is getting created for this program in the same directory where the program is residing.
Any idea on this ?

I know that in the past there was an issue with running a particular version of the SDK on a particular version of windows. The resulant error was a ClassNotFoundException. I am not sure about the versions involved.

did you check which servers has FSMO roles?
You can do that via command prompt: netdom query fsmo
For forestprep you must do that on DC which have Schema Operations marter role.
Command
Domain controller
Number of times to run the command
adprep /forestprep
Must be run on the schema operations master for the forest.
Once for the entire forest
adprep /domainprep
Must be run on the infrastructure operations master for the domain.
Once in each domain where you plan to install an additional domain controller that runs a later version of Windows Server than the latest version that is running in the domain.
Note
Domains where you will not add a new domain controller will be affected by adprep /forestprep, but they do not require you to run adprep /domainprep.
