I have the problem with my iPhone and my friends have this problem too.
My iPhone have the problem about calling and answer the call. When I use my iPhone to call I can't hear anything from my iPhone but the person that I call can answer it but when answer both of us can't hear anything and when I put my iPhone to my face the screen is still on and when I quit the phone application and open it again it will automatic call my recent call. And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

The external drive with my photo library went bad, but I have the photos on my ipad, ipod and iphone. How to I get those photos back into iphoto on my macbook?
Are the photos you want to send back to your mac on your iPad, iPod, iPhone saved to the camera roll? If you have photos in other albums (not camera roll) share them to the camera roll.
Then connect your device via USB and lauch iPhoto. You will see your device as a camera in iPhoto. Import those photos like you would import from a camera. -
There are two iMacs connected through same router in my house but one refuses to login to facebook and other logged in sites. Local techies are bemused, I have just reinstalled OSX and still have the problem. Login page recycles, I get no further and no errors reported. Safari, Opera and Firefox. Deleted cookies and chain but still no action.
If you have not already done so, read the router's user manual troubleshooting section and/or contact its customer service department/forums.
If still having problems, post back w/details of all you have tried to resolve the problems along w/the troubleshooting solutions that the "local techies" had you try.

Hi to all.
Currently, i am trying to install patches for portal server.
The server OS is Sun Solaris 8.
We are using Oracle9iAS.
Now, we are installing 9.0.1.4.0 patch set for the Oracle Database Server.
We managed to install the patch, but have problem with the Post Install Action.
We managed to run
-ALTER SYSTEM ENABLE RESTRICTED SESSION;
-@rdbms/admin/catpatch.sql
-ALTER SYSTEM DISABLE RESTRICTED SESSION;
-CONNECT / AS SYSDBA
-update obj$ set status=5 where type#=29 and owner#!=0;
-commit;
But, when we come to the next command, which is to shutdown, it gives us like
this..
SQL> update obj$ set status=5 where type#=29 and owner#!=0;
1402 rows updated.
SQL> commit;
Commit complete.
SQL> shutdown immediate
Database closed.
Database dismounted.
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01219: database not open: queries allowed on fixed tables/views only
We tried to startup the database..it gives us this error..
SQL> startup
ORA-01081: cannot start already-running ORACLE - shut it down first
So, we tried to shutdown again..
SQL> shutdown immediate
ORA-01089: immediate shutdown in progress - no operations are permitted
I been informed that this is maybe a Database problem related. Any ideas?

I've tried to download through the link posted and the website but nothing happens. I can't reinstall if I can't get the download. All of my passwords are stored on Mozilla with a master code. I have written record of them so if I uninstall Firefox, when and if I get it to download, will I lose those stored passwords? Please help!

I don't get anything on the monitor screen. During startup i can hear it going thru POST but never any screen image. Any ideas?
The "C" key will work if there is a bootable volume on a disk in the optical drive. Are you running OSX? Jaguar, Panther, Tiger? On OSX (UNIX) you can use the command "S" (⌘-S) at start up to go to the root and do a file system check: Type; fsck -f -y at the prompt when it appears then press Return; let the root check for problems and repair. To exit after the test type; reboot and press Return

Error when Installing Eax-console as part of Audigy support pack 3.6
<div class="lia-component-body lia-message-body">Hey there, out of nowhere I have the following problem:
I have used several versions of this audigy support Pack up to now, both in Windows XP and Windows 7 RC and all worked fine for me. Most recently I used 3.5 and 3.6 in both OS for a short time.
now I had to format my harddisk an have installed a clean version of Win XP SP3. I installed an update pack (winboard.org), the latest direct X and drivers for nvidia motherboard and videocard. Then, when I tried to install this support pack, I get an error messagge I-00 when eax-console should have been installed, something about CTengine being unable to be installed.
I read through many of the solutions here in the forum, since this error seems to be not so rare. But up to now, nothing helped. This is, what my install.log tells me:

What the heck could I do?
I made an new thread, since nobody seamed to react to my post in the support pack thread.HRe: Error when Installing Eax-console as part of Audigy support pack 3.6o What you have is a missing file, or perhaps your system is wanting to install direct X redistributable or something similar. Do a search on your system for install.log and when you find the newest one, or second to newest one, open it with notepad. It will tell you exactly what you are missing. I was trying to install some components for my Elite Pro and it said in the install.log that it could not find DXREDIST. So I copied a version I had to the installing program's folder and it worked!? So take a look at that log and see what is missing......write back with your results if you dont mind. In the original post I had seen the registration problems with components. You can manually run regsvr32 with the /? switch and see how to unregister that yourself and then try the installation again.

If so, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
