I am getting an invalid address, but everything seems ok

Just signed up today with itunes.  Trying to buy apps for my new ipad 2, but i am getting sent to my account because my address is invalid?  checked and double checked.  There doesn't seem to be a problem?

There are a number of threads about it - it looks like Apple recently updated their address validation. Some people have had success by :
ensuring that their iTunes account address is exactly the same as appears on their credit card bill
putting something in the second line of the address (including just copying the first line)
expanding abbreviations e.g. St to Street, Ave to Avenue etc (or conversely abbreviating)
putting apartment or suite number on the second address line

    I keep getting an invalid address when trying to purchase songs on itune.  All the information entered is correct.  I have tried on my iPhone, iPad, iTouch and on itunes.

    THE FIX: your credit card address AND spelling of your name must match iTunes.
    Please don't google or read other blog entries on the Internet telling you to use a restaurant address or those that are telling you apple is doing address validation. They are all written by 17 year olds who pick up the first thing and re-post. Why do people try to "help" by authoritatively posting an answer? The mass of them are ruining my google searches. :-)
    Apple is now validating whatever ASCII that you told your credit card company. It's not just address validation.
    Name AND address must match.
    Then it worked for me.

    Suggestions:
    Accessing Youtube in Safari:
    1. In the video screen, you will see 4 icons (thumbs up thumbs down plus sign and connected dots) choose connected dots and from there you will seeoptions where you'd like to share your video.
    2. In the address box (top of browser) tap twice to select all and tap again to copy the URL. Now you can paste this as link to any social media site.
    Other option:
    1. You can download youtube app from app store and use the app and follow step 1 above.

    Try Restore Preferences:
    Windows - CTRL-SHIFT-ALT immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
    Macintosh - CMD-SHIFT-OPTION immediately after you double-click the PS icon.

    An alternate email address is not the same thing as a rescue email address.
    If you don't have a rescue email address then see if the instructions on this user tip helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

  • When I download an app, it appears Invalid Address but I putted everything to buy it? What should I do?, When I download an app, it appears Invalid Address but I putted everything to buy it? What should I do?

    Hi, I want to download shazam so I hit FREE and then download. When it goes to homescreen It appears "Invalid Address"!!!! What should I do!?!?!?!?

    The GB size of the download file is the compressed size (like .zip or .dmg). When the file is installed/uncompressed it can be 2-3 times larger.
    How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.
    How Do I Get Rid Of The “Other” Data Stored On My iPad Or iPhone?
    http://tinyurl.com/85w6xwn
    With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

    You should read through this wiki carefully: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Net … figuration
    To begin with you need to preface all interfaces that are to be available to network manager with "!" in the INTERFACES array or rc.conf (that will disable them for Arch init scripts, so that network manager can have free access to them).  You also need to remove the "network" daemon from the DAEMONS array.  There might be something else that I've missed as well...
    Welcome to Arch!

    Okay - let's cut to the chase...
    If the Menu Bar (File, Edit... Help) shown in my screenshot below is not visible, use CTRL+B to display it. Then click on Help/Check for Updates. If one is available, you will be able to select it at this time.
    Note the item at the bottom of the list; About iTunes. Selecting that will show you which version of iTunes you are using.
    An alternative method to display the Menu Bar is click on the box in the top left of your iTunes window...

  • BB not getting external IP address but can detect ...

    Hi Guys im just wondering what you guys thought to this, since Friday afternoon ove had no internet connectivity logged to ISP.  I have tried two new netgear routers both with correct config, it sees ADSL and the speed im getting ie downstream and upstream through evey socket in the house including the test socket, but i cant retrieve an IP address to there servers for my devices.
    The ISP have said its a telephone line fault but there is no line noises or crackle no noticed anything on there. Also replaced all microfilters, and cables to the router still no change apart from a possible engineer visiit technically what else external to the property could of happened?

    You have already said your ISP is Orange and not BT in this thread.

    Hi, I have a strange problem with my Airport Express. I've been using the airport for months with two laptop PCs. Went away past weekend and used one laptop on a different wireless network, came back, and now this laptop can't pull an IP address from the AX. The weird thing is that my wife's laptop is still pulling an IP address from the AX just fine. My own laptop is pulling IP addresses from my neighbor's wireless network and my work network okay, just not from my AX. I've tried releasing the IP address from my laptop, but it won't pull a new one from the AX.
    I don't know what's wrong. I have the AX setup for "share a single IP address" and this worked just fine until two days ago. I haven't changed any settings on my PC, it's still set to obtain an IP address automatically.
    Can anyone provide help/insight?
    Thanks!

    Okay, I have figured out the answer to my question... and it was really simple. I had mis-entered my WEP password. I did not realize this because windows indicated that I was connected to the base station, and no error message appeared after I mis-entered the password.
    So for all those who can't get their AX to assign an IP address - be sure your WEP password is entered correctly!

  • I get a invalid address from my webmail (roadrunner) when I send an email. don't have this problem with IE.

    I already uninstalled then reinstall Firefox it worked 1 time now it is doing the same thing.

  • Dynamic context, ALV, no data - but everything seems to be in place!

    I've created a component for displaying data in an ALV, with the intention of using it in other components.
    The component controller has two methods:
    SET_DATA_STRUCTURE (parameter I_attributes IMPORTING type WDR_CONTEXT_ATTR_INFO_MAP).
    SET_CONTENTS (parameter i_reference_contents IMPORTING type ref to data).
    The both trigger similarly named events which are reacted to by the view controller.
    The handler for the data structure is this:
       data root_info type ref to if_wd_context_node_info.
       root_info = wd_context->get_node_info( ).
       data data_node type ref to if_wd_context_node_info.
       data_node = root_info->add_new_child_node( name = 'DATA'
                                      is_initialize_lead_selection = abap_false
                                      is_static = abap_false
                                      is_multiple = abap_true
                                      attributes = i_structure ).
    The handler for set_contents sets the view attribute reference_to_contents.
    The WDDOMODIFYVIEW method handles the contents (only when there is new data).
         data lo_nd_table_contents type ref to if_wd_context_node.
         lo_nd_table_contents = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'DATA' ).
         field-symbols <table_contents> type any table.
         assign wd_this->reference_to_contents->* to <table_contents>.
         if <table_contents> is assigned.
           lo_nd_table_contents->bind_table( new_items = <table_contents> set_initial_elements = abap_true ).
         endif.
         data lo_interfacecontroller type ref to iwci_salv_wd_table .
         lo_interfacecontroller =   wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv( ).
         lo_interfacecontroller->set_data( r_node_data = lo_nd_table_contents ).
         wd_this->new_contents = abap_false.
    When I test my application, I can see inthe debugger that the context is correctly created and populated. The data is bound correctly to the context. But no data is displayed in the grid.
    I've looked through the various tutorials, and can't see what I've missed.
    I've instantiated the usage in WDOINIT of the view. I've embedded the control in the window. Every step checks out - but still no data is seen. I've tried the refresh method on the interface controller of the usage - nothing.
    I've just checked, and the field order and field names of the data being sent in reference_to_contents are identical to that in i_attributes.

    Well, I tried it, and a few other things based on it, and it appears you have the solution.
    My code is:
       DATA root_info TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node_info.
       root_info = wd_context->get_node_info( ).
       " Convert attributes to RTTI entries
       DATA attribute TYPE wdr_context_attribute_info.
       LOOP AT i_structure INTO attribute.
         DATA components TYPE cl_abap_structdescr=>component_table.
         DATA component  TYPE abap_componentdescr.
         DATA type       TYPE REF TO cl_abap_datadescr.
         CLEAR component.
         component-name = attribute-name.
         component-type ?= cl_abap_typedescr=>describe_by_name( attribute-type_name ).
         INSERT component INTO TABLE components.
       ENDLOOP.
      " Create the new context, starting at TABLE DATA with attributes as in "components"
       root_info->add_new_child_node(
                                      name = 'DATA'
                                      is_initialize_lead_selection = abap_false
                                      is_static = abap_false
                                      static_element_rtti = cl_abap_structdescr=>create( components ) ).
    (I'm in a 7.3 system, so I get to use chaining of methods!)

  • I can log in, but everything seems to be reset to "factory"

    I can't seem to find this problem detailed anywhere, so here goes:
    My Intel Mac mini running 10.5 froze up tonight, so I had to do a hard shut-down. When it restarted, the machine is in a state that was (is) very bizarre. It recognizes my user name, and I'm shown as the Admin, but the entire thing looks like it's been reset to "factory" conditions. The dock is HUGE, with only the icons that you get from a new account, and any apps I try to run start off with the "license agreement" screen.
    In addition, my user folder has a generic blue folder icon, not the normal "home" icon. I can't access anything in Mail because it says the files are all "read-only." It seems as though although I am logged into my account, it has actually created a NEW account with that name, although I can still access all of my documents, etc.
    I have Time Machine running -- any ideas on how I can restore back to normalcy using that? Sadly, I also have a Super-Duper backup, but since that's not yet Leopard compatible, it's not going to do me much good! Any advice appreciated!

    Thanks for the tips. Funny thing is, I restarted several times last night, with the same (not good) results. I did "repair permissions" once, then rebooted, but still no good. I did not however then boot to the install disk and run any utilities from there.
    For what it's worth, I have two external FireWire drives connected -- one is dedicated to Time Machine, and the other is for SuperDuper backup/clone. However, since Leopard was installed, I can no longer boot to that drive -- from reading the info on the SuperDuper website, it seems they are feverishly working to get a Leopard-compatible version out there.
    Oh, and I also have a portable USB drive that I use to make a clone once a month and take off site. I was thinking that it would quite ironic that with all these backups, I would be in a position where I was not able to restore. Fortunately, it didn't come to that.

  • I can't compile but everything seems fine

    I have NO luck with Xcode. I am using Xcode 4.1 (This also occured in 4.0.2) and I started my project from the normal cocoa app document based template. It compiled fine the first few times but now it won't compile anymore. See the pic below:
    It claims im missing a [ is missing at the start of message send expression. But you can clealy tell that its there. So if I click the error and click fix it I get this error:
    It makes no sense that there is anything wrong with this code since it was prewritten code and I NEVER touched it. I think this may be a bug but I'm most likey wrong.

    No, you changed it. That should read:
    self = [super init];
