What are exit code 6 and exit code 7

Since the event this afternoon, I have been trying to update the products in CC to 2014. I keep getting an error without being able to finish installation and get either of the exit codes 6 or 7. I have tried to troubleshoot by changing to IE (my default was Waterfox), turing off my firewall, turning off my anti-virus, running CC in administrator mode and then making sure adobe.com was on every white list in my computer....all to no avail. I really would like to try these out, but disappointed that only one out of the 5 I've tried have installed correctly.

Trying to Download CS Suite 5.5 Design Premium to a new computer getting an exit code 7

I am trying to download CS Suite 5.5 Design Premium to a new computer. I am getting error (Exit Code 7). I have two computers with this software. Do I need to Uninstall software on one of the other computers??

You will only be able to activate two of the installations, but downloading and installing is not limited to two machines.

PIQ causes a cyclic restart gets an exit code of 666

Hi Guys,
We attempted to process a large file in PIQ and the file is so large that it causes a cyclic restart. Meaning that the java stack gets an exit code of 666 that causes the Java stack to restart and then it immediately gets an exit code of 666 that causes the Java stack to restart. I need to find a way to force it out of the cycle. I would like to know how to force it to skip this message or to somehow kill the process. Any ideas? We donu2019t care about whether it can process the file or not, we just want it to stop. We will figure another way to process large files.

I can restart the java stack, but it will almost immediately go into a restart and eventually hang. The problem is that the really large file is causing it to get a exit code 666 and then it restarts and then it gets an exit code 666 and then it restarts and then it eventually hangs. This is what I have been describing to you. What I originally asked was how to force it to stop.
please advice me on this...

I cannot get Flash Player to install on my Mac

I cannot get Flash Player to install on my Mac Air. I have repeatedly confirmed that I meet the system requirements and installed and uninstalled the software. It always fails at 51% installation and give me and alert that says Install Error. Please help!

The problem ISN'T with Flash Player...
If you remember back in September, when Apple released the 10.8.5 update, shortly thereafter... you no doubt discovered a file named "mach_kernel" was in your Mac HD directory. And... unaware of what it was, you deleted it.
That (mach_kernel) is a base file of OS X and Apple screwed up the update and made it "visible" when it's supposed to be hidden.
Hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting Mac Users worldwide deleted it and it'll make things worse as time goes by.
YOU'RE in luck, though. I have a fix.
If you have a TIme Machine and use the "Secrets" pereference pane to reveal "hidden files", you can restore it from a "pre 10.8.5" backup.
If not, I have a "fresh" mach_kernel file you can download.
You'll need to download and install the Secrets prefpane. It'll then be in your System Preferences.
Make sure you have it set to "show hidden files"
Check the box and you have to restart Finder
Press "Quit This" and then go to the Finder Dock icon and right click it
Select "Open"
Open your TIme Machine
Go back to September 28 or earlier.
You'll see the mach_kernel file in the Mac HD directory
(I can't show it in the TM because screenshots don't work while it's open but here it is in my MAc HD)
Right click it and select "Restore to"
Then, when it goes back to Finder, choose the Mac HD directory and click OK.
It will place the mach_kernel back where it was and you can install software again
DON'T FORGET to go back and hide your files (and restart Finder) again, or you'll have a mess with the clutter of hidden files everywhere.
IF you don't have the Time Machine...
WITH hidden files shown, download this file (mach_kernel.zip)
Move it to your Mac HD directory and THEN unzip it with Stuffit Expander or TheUnarchiver, whichever you use (most people have Stuffit).
You should see the mach_kernel file there.
You can delete the zip file, and then go back to Secrets in your System Preferences, and uncheck Show Hidden Files.
Restart Finder and it'll be safely hidden again.
THEN you can install Flash Player and other software without the "General Installation Error".

That should not be an issue. If you are using creative cloud, you can install the apps on your primary computer and one backup computer. You will have access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions, so if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, for example, you can install your applications on both. Downloading Photoshop CC and getting constant Exit code: 06!

This is super annoying Adobe I pay you per month for a subscription service that apparently is worthless. I have been trying to get my Photoshop CC to download for hours and every time around the 42% download this stupid error pops up. It's not my laptop or settings. It worked fine months ago when I had to reinstall it on my laptop due to a system crash. Please tell me how to fix this error or fix it on your end!

Getting fatal Exit Code 34 when installing an app

Anyone running into this? I download an app (PS 6, ID 6, etc.) via AAM and then it tries to install. Towards the end of the install I get a Fatal Error with Exit Code 34. The log msg reads:
FATAL: Payload '{E2286898-049D-43EF-AA30-0A93E3744AC3} Camera Profiles Installer_7.1_AdobeCameraRawProfile7.0All 6.0.98.0' information not found in Media_db.
I tried downloading and installing a trial version of PS 6 and the same error occurred. I tried running the CS Clean-up Tool but it said that there were no CS sessions installed on my iMac (latest version of Lion). I completely deleted beta and trial versions of CS apps before running AAM. I did have the RC candidate of Camera Raw 7.1 loaded on my Mac at one time but there is no uninstall app for that (at least that I can tell). It seems that the RC 7.1 may be involved with this error but I can't pinpoint how to get rid of it.
Any ideers out there?

I'm having the exact same situation, with the exact same error on two separate PC's (Windows 7 based). I've tried everything I know plus everyone else's suggestions from the forums since Friday. At this point, I am getting very frustrated. I had success installing some of the programs, but they were the ones that were not previously installed with CS5 Prod Prem or the beta testing, So I have Dreamweaver, Acrobat X, Fireworks, etc. because they are not part of the Prod Prem suite and therefore have not previously been installed. Everything else, AE, PS, PR, IL, etc., gives me the following:

J2EE Server is not getting started, the exit code is -11113. When I tried to start J2EE Enginer Visual Administrator its giving below error.
Unable to lookup connection default.

Go to the following directory.
/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/<Instance_Name>/j2ee/admin
and start the go.bat.
Java Add-In You cannot use the Default login. Instead, perform the following steps:
a) Choose New.
b) Enter a display name and choose Direct Connection to a dispatcher Node.
c) Choose Next.
d) Enter at least the following:
■ User Name: J2EE_ADMIN
■ Host: <host_name> of the J2EE engine
■ Port: <P4_Port>
The following convention applies for the port:
5<Instance_Number_of_SAP_J2EE_Engine>04. For example, if
your J2EE instance number is 15, the P4port is 51504.
e) Choose Save and connect with your new login account by choosing
Connect.
f) Enter the password for the J2EE_ADMIN user and choose Connect.

I am trying to launch an application 4 times with different arguments from a Java app. I have tried doing it sequentially and in four different threads, but the results are the same: sometimes the 4 of them are properly launched, sometimes (the most of the times) only 3 are launched and sometimes only 2. I have tried with cmd and cmdarray[] as parameters for exec but the results are the same.

In addition, those processes that are not properly launched return an exit value of 255. I have searched for its meaning but I have found nothing. Could anybody tell me where can I find a list of the JVM exit codes in order to guess what is happening?

I have been looking for it but it seems it has not any exit code list or any documentation regarding this. Anyway, I think 255 is a JVM error code (the last one, errors are numbered in modulo 256) which means that the error has nothing to do with JVM but with the application execution (flute in my case).
I have added a prompt for the errorStream and I have this message for the 255 exited programs:
not well-formed (invalid token) at line 15+
And the four commands are like this:

As I have tried it with a single command line and with an array of command strings (the first for "./flute" and the followings for each argument) with the same results I can't understand why is this problem happening sometimes. Happening always would help me in giving a clue but that's not the case.

Tried going through help sites for days finding a fix for Exit Code 6. None of the solutions have worked this far.
No errors when installing the trials for Ai, Id, and Acrobat CS6 on my Mac (which runs OS X version 10.9.2, Mavericks), but the same error always occurs when installing the trial for Ps CS6.
