And what is the error message ? Are you on iTunes 10.5+ on your computer ? If you are getting a network timeout message then try temporarily turning off all your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.

I Tried for three days to download iOS 6 and kept getting error 1403. I finally went to the apple store and they couldn't figure it out either.
I finally got it to download and all I did different from the other 100 times was I went into settings and on the Bluetooth setting I put NO. Not sure if that's what did it but that was the only thing different that I did.

No - there is no system log table.
You need to create your own logging package and log table and modify your procedure code to call your own logging procedures to log into your own log table.
The procedures in the log package would typically be defined with PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION so that the exceptions get logged even if your procedure performs a ROLLBACK.

I am getting error messages after trying to install an update for CS6 Design & Web Premium on my Imac running OS 10.6.8. The errors are all U44M1I215 with one U44M1D207 for Fireworks. Please assist. dand45036

Getting error message when updating to 2.1

Anyone else having a problem updating to 2.1? iTunes tells me 2.1 is available and then when I click download and install I get the error message "the requested resource was not found."

Why am I suddenly getting error messages when updating the vault?

Hi, I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone here can offer of how to correct a problem that started recently.
I've updated the vault for Aperture successfully many times before, but now, when I attempt to update the vault I've started receiving error messages. Everything seems to proceed normally at first, a progress bar opens showing "Comparing library to vault", then when that is done, another opens showing "updating vault 'photograph lockbox' from library". But after that I now get an error message which reads:
"Update Vault Error:
13345 errors occurred. The first 5 are:
Error creating a directory in vault ‘Photograph Lockbox‘.
Error creating a directory in vault ‘Photograph Lockbox‘.
Error creating a directory in vault ‘Photograph Lockbox‘.
Error creating a directory in vault ‘Photograph Lockbox‘.

I have a Mac Pro running 10.4.11, my version of Aperture is 1.5.6. I haven't updated either of those for financial reasons and because I have no pressing need to. And everything seemed to be working fine until a couple of weeks ago when the updating errors started.
My vault is in a Seagate portable hard drive.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?
Also, does this mean that none of my new photographs are being backed up in the vault? That would be scary!

Exactly the same problem started for me a little while ago.
Firstly, you are correct in assuming that subsequent backups are not taking place. This can easily be confirmed by looking at the colour of the synchronization button. Red circular arrows indicate that there are Digital Masters in your library that have not been backed up in a vault. What colour are yours?
The problem is either a program error or hardware or both.
I suggest that you create another vault, this time on your desktop. Backup to it. If this is successful the problem is not with the Aperture program.
I was advised to format my hard drive as "Mac OS Extended (journaled)" before attempting to backup.

Getting error message for "user created how tos" CS3

I tried to create some new How Tos in CS3 and recieved the following error message when I try to open it:
"The Adobe Help application could not load a URL because the specified file could not be found. You may need to re-install the application and the help component."
If I access one of the ones created with CS2 it opens (I dragged them over from CS2, I have since removed CS2 from this computer, it's still on my laptop) I haven't tried creating them and importing them to this computer).
I'm using Microsoft Office Word 2003 to save the How Tos as html files, and notepad to edit Add_001.howto file.
Since I gotten this error, I reloaded CS3 Design Standard, it didn't fix the problem. Also I have ensured that the Add_001.howto file points to the right location (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Help\additional how to content)and is in the right format:
"John Shaws CS3" "47. A GLOSSARY OF IMAGING TERMS" 47.html (works).
"Noise Ninja" "The Thirty Second Guide to Noise Ninja" Noise Ninja 001.html (doesn't work)
The only thing new on the computer is a brand spanking new EVGA NVidia Geforce 9500GT PCI express(512 mb ddr2 dual DVI output) with the latest drivers. It replaced NVidia GeForce 6600GS and Matrox Millenium video cards (the Matrox). The new video card does not include some program that allows it to run MS-DOS programs, but I don't feel that is causing the problem.
System Info:
Photoshop CS3 10.0.1
Computer: Gateway DX310X with Gateway FPD1975W and FPD1730 monitors
Windows XP Media Center Edition, Service Pack 3
Intel Pentium D proccessor
1GB internal memory
168GB of free space on hard drive.
I hope I have given you suffiecient information to give me some possible solutions.

Thanks for the assist.
It isn't a Windows Indexing Service problem.
It is an operator problem. As you pointed out the long name and spacing are the issue here.
I changed the the Add_001.howto file from:
"Noise Ninja" "The Thirty Second Guide to Noise Ninja" Noise Ninja 001.html
to:
"Noise Ninja" "The Thirty Second Guide to Noise Ninja" NN001.html
I changed the file in the Additional How To Content folder, to match.
And it works now.
Now that I know what was wrong with my file names, I'll be able to get the various plugin help files/documents into Photoshop so I won't have to get out of it to get help on them.

Getting error message when updating to 9.2.1

I just installed 9.1 from 8.6. I also downloaded the Mac OS 9.2.1 update and about 1 minute into the update, I get an error message saying:
"This version of Mac OS can not be installed over the localized version of Mac OS on the disk named "Macintosh HD". Please choose a different destination disk, or perform a clean installation."
What should I do? I tried running the update 3 times, and get the message each time.

That message indicates the language version of the OS 9.2.1 update you are attempting to install does not match the language version of your installed OS 9.1. In order to be able to use any OS 9 download update, the update must match the language version of the existing OS 9.
There are two English versions of the OS 9.2.1 download update - North American English, and International English. You will probably need to download the update again, this time getting the matching version.
What language version is your installed OS 9.1? If you're not sure, check in About This Computer (top of Apple menu when Finder is active). If you have the International English version, it will be displayed something like "Mac OS (Z1) 9.1" - the "Z1" indicates International English. No such coding in that string will indicate it is the North American English version.

I got about 26 of these error messages when I am trying to update my Vault! I have no clue why I am getting them.

How to get error message for VISA in CVI?

I was using labview 2012 to handle GBIP interface with VISA, the VISA write code will return an error cluster if exists. Recently, I switch to CVI and I use viWrite to write to the GBIP, but in this case, how can I get the error cluster?

Although it's a better bet with a 2330 error, I'd try running a chkdsk over your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you've got your program files installed on).

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

FF downloaded some update and now I get error message saying update cannot be installed until I get rid of extra FF copies on computer-but I DON"T have any extra copies. I cannot even uninstall the only FF I now have!

I have a Toshiba laptop, Windows & Home Premium Edition operating system. I had FF 3.6.3 installed and up until 6:00 today it was sort of working properly. I find out later that my huasband cannot even open the browser, as every time he does, a dialog box opens up whcih says "UPdate cannot be installed. Please make sure no other copies of FF are running on computer, then restart FF to try again." But I do not have any other copies of FF. I really do not like it when FF auto installs stuff without my permission. Many times this stuff is downloaded and installed, only to raise havoc with my computer.
