Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Plus it would be up to Adobe to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices - something which they have never managed to do and which they have now given up on trying to do.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so your could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app).

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

For Mavericks you need to upgrade to iPhoto 9.5.1.
You cannot buy this version from the AppStore, since the current version is iPhoto 9.6, and that requires Yosemite. The easiest route for you would be to upgrade to Yosemite. Then you can simply buy the newest version of iPhoto from the App Store and can use iCloud Photo Library (iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ), once it has been release for the Mac as well early next year.
If you want to stick with Mavericks, you'll have limited iCloud features, only the Photo Streams (iCloud: iCloud Photo Sharing FAQ), but no iCloud Drive (iCloud Drive FAQ) and iCloud Photo Library. And to upgrade iPhoto you need to buy an iPhoto '11 installer. It comes as part of iLife '11. You can try to buy a boxed version from Amazon or try to find it at eBay. Once installed on Mavericks, download the iPhoto '11 updaters from the apple Support Downloads page.

It's not that simple. You need a "smart" device to connect a hard drive to, like a Time Capsule, or another computer, or an Airport Extreme/Express that was made to share a drive, or some other brand router that has a USB port for sharing a drive, etc.

Is there a stylus that will work with the iq500?

I have an iq500 and i need a stylus to do more precise selections while working with adobe photoshop. i purchased a cheap aluminum stylus with a narrow plastic tip and it has trouble being sensed by the screen. it would disconnect often while im draging and will not sense at all at the bottom of the screen. it works better if i tilt at an angle for a larger surface area but its very inconvenient.
has anyone found a stylus that will work?

Should i just get a fatter stylus, or does it have to be a special one, like a magnetic stylus?

Don't use a magnet! You should never put a magnet up to a screen.
You can use almost anything as a stylus because of the way the HP TouchScreen technology works - it uses cameras instead of circuits.
You finger works pretty darn good, but I sometimes like to use the eraser end of new pencil because it keeps the fingerprints down.

So, I've been playing a bit with some short home video stuff - and now that we actually have some space to burn in iDisk - I would like to start uploading some video to our iWeb sites.
Upon my first attempt of doing such - I was met with a pop-up window in iWeb that told me the file was huge - and I would be best to convert it in QT Pro by way of exporting it. When I tried to do such via the export option - it was greyed out, that is unless I purchase the Pro version.
My question is - do I really need to purchase additional software to do this, and if so - is QT pro the program to go with, or is there something else that will be able to do what I need for the very limited amount of "video" that I plan to do?

Assuming you edited in iLife ,e.g. iMovie you can export to QT formats from there vs. paying for QT Pro, opening and then exporting from QT which will just do the same thing with some more options.
Idea: Open the file in MPEG Streamclip (free) and you can export to various iTunes formats without knowing a thing about exporting and pay zero for the privilege and probably do a better job of it. Use Streamclip version 1.9b3 , export to MPEG-4 and then press the iTunes button and pick a format you like. You will find even the basic to iPod setting at 320X240 will make very good quality videos that upscale to 640X480 well and are nicely small.

Firefox is no longer compatible with Walgreen photo web site - Walgreen says only Internet Explorer will work - will this be fixed?

I have used Firefox for years but recently I've had instances where Firefox will not work with some web sites. The most recent is Walgreens photo. I spent about an hour being frustrated then called Walgreens. They told me that I had to use Internet Explorer. Sure enough it worked fine. Can Firefox be made compatible with Walgreen's web site?

Are there any printers that actually work in linux?

I have had a few , that worked in ubuntu, then didnt work, i have one that worked beautifullly in ubuntu,but only scans (it's an all in one) in arch.. is there a list of sacred printers that work? i tried installing gutenprint. how do you use it? i cant find it in the application list.. i try using the printer config at :631 on firefox, cant connect, cant connect at opera, or chromium, and i have no firewall running. so I cant configure a printer if one even did work, or do they work after you turn certain ones on?
if anyone i mean anyone has any information about what does work, so i can go out and buy what actually works, please let me know.. this is annoying i have 2 printers and neither of them work.. both are all in ones.. one of them the scanner works.. but i cant use the printer part..

Hi, I'm just about to start a Diploma in Photography and I have never used Photoshop before. I need to buy a DSLR camera, Photoshop software and text books so I thought while I'm at it I may as well buy a Tablet too as right now I only have a Laptop. Iv been reading through a lot of posts and so far it sounds like Photoshop doesn't work on Tablets? Or it does work on Tablets but needs some sort of pen to make it work? I obviously have no idea about technical things and was wondering if anyone could make this really simple for me, basicly...

I've seen Photoshop running on a Cintiq Companion with Windows 8.1. The person using it (Peter Eastman) had bought it as his traveling computer, and it seemed to work OK. One thing I wondered about was that he used it exclusively with the stylus (pen) and no mouse, which I think I might have found awkward. but he was doing OK. He also had it hooked up to a projector, so you could use it with a second screen if you so chose.
The Companion is expensive, but is a genuinely useful tool. There are several user reviews on Amazon:

If you wish to merely transfer files, one idea could be to have one ftp or web server on each machine, and then use appropriate clients (ftp programs or web browsers).
TCP/IP software is available under System 7.5.5. The 8100/100 can use standard RJ-45 Ethernet cabling via a suitable adapter for AAUI-15 (such as the Apple Ethernet Twisted-Pair Transceiver M0437).
For the Mac, the now free program NetPresenz could perhaps be of interest as a server solution.

Why do I keep getting problems with Apple not recognizing my email password? This suddenly started and just reminds me of the mess that mobileme was. Calendar dev also is not working. What a complete mess!

Can't access my email - endless messages saying password is wrong, which it is not. Mobileme all over again. I now need to forward all Apple mail to GMail, which is how an email system should work. Same is true with the calendar - a complete mess on the integration with my Google calendar.
This is really, really a pain!!

OK this is Cormacin Texas - these idiots have put me through the hoops, effectively locking me out of the support forum. Anyway I've solved the problem - it took 3.5 hours, involved a trip to the Genius bar at the local Apple store, and one and a half hours escalating through the dial-in help support - which was about the only thing the Genius was good for.
What you need to know is:
1. Apple are having problems with their servers, but have not published the fact - we've all wasted a lot of time because these guys want to keep their Customer Sat scores high, I guess. (I'm starting to feel like one of their Chinese factory workers!)
2. This server problem is compounded by the fact that it only affects a few random servers
3. It in turn can lead to problems sending emails which require you to change your Apple Mail password, and in my case surgically remove bad records for various hidden email and library folders. (Good luck with that!)
So, a problem that they hide, a knock-on set of work that the problem indirectly causes, which they also hide, and a support structure that is geared for hardware, not the services that they are now selling.
My suggestion is to change your mail password using the web (icloud.com) access to Mail and see if that works. After that, remove and reset up your Apple email (Preferences) and pray that you don't have to join endless telephone answering lines where some of the folks will cut you off because they can't be arsed.
The two guys that finally helped me were brilliant, knew their stuff and could not have done a better job. The key guy was Danny - if you get him, your golden!
