hi,
Use the following code for making the rows editable for a table UI element.
DATA lo_nd_cn_try TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
DATA lo_el_cn_try TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
DATA ls_cn_try TYPE wd_this->element_cn_try.
DATA ls_cn_try1 TYPE wd_this->elements_cn_try.
navigate from <CONTEXT> to <CN_TRY> via lead selection
lo_nd_cn_try = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_cn_try ).
do 5 times.
clear ls_cn_try.
append ls_cn_try to ls_cn_try1.
lo_nd_cn_try->bind_table( ls_cn_try1 ).
enddo.
-> cn_try is the node which is binded with the Table UI element.
What all this is called as initialization of table. This code will make 5 rows editable, If u want more rows editable then run the loop according to the requirement.
U can write this code in the WDDOINIT.
Thanks,
Pankaj Aggarwal.

Need to return only one record from select statement.
Hello friends,
I have a scenerio in which code only want to fetch one value from the SQL statement, but in some cases the statment return more then one row due to which ORA-01422 : Exact fetch return more then one row, error comes.
Can you suggest me to write a select statement that will handel this. I am using the below mentioned select statement:
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE
'SELECT rsdn FROM ' || schema || '.table_name' ||
' WHERE a = :1 AND b = :2 AND c IN (32,33,34)'
INTO v_rsdn USING v_a, v_b;
One question, Can I use Rownum < 2 in Where clause to restrict the select output to only one record ? Please suggest ?
Regards,
RajatWell, if rownum=1 could be a trash answer, it would be an issue since we don't know which record you are interested to. Is it one particular ? Is it only to workaround the issue ? Then you may want to manage some BULK COLLECT or whatever else array to receive all the rows as well.
What are you doing with the rows returned ?

SAP Query - Selection to get only one record by date
I am writing a query in which the infoset includes dates example would be material, plant, date, price. For a given material and plant, there will be multiple records in the infoset because the material can have a different price on a different date.
I want to choose the one record from the infoset that has a date closest to but less than or equal to a user entered date.
How do I do this.

Years back I had installed Firefox 3.0 (at launch, so not beta) into a separate program folder. After installation, I expected to have my bookmarks saved. Recently I found out my bookmarks were in application data and I found out I had one profile. That meant that my firefox 2.0 bookmarks were replaced.
I read up on the FAQs and it stated that bookmark backups only save the previous 5 days or so, so I don't think they are usable though I have them saved. The bookmarks.html file in my profile shows only one bookmark after importing it into firefox 3.5 and firefox 2.0 (downgraded back to check it out), google chrome, and internet explorer. I still have the bookmarks.bak and bookmarks.html.bak files as well.
A little backstory before I got up to this point because it's a bit convoluted because I thought I could retrieve them like IE favorites which were easy:
1) Switched to Firefox 2.0 from Internet Explorer and got several hundred bookmarks.
2) Got HyperBookmarks add-on which bugged up and replaced my previous bookmarks folder though it stated in FAQs that my original Firefox 2.0 bookmarks were in a separate folder so I didn't worry about it.
3) Upgraded to Firefox 3.0 and it replaced all my bookmarks with nothing in bookmarks list. I thought it was saved because I installed Firefox 3.0 in a separate folder.
4) Retrieved 3.0 Bookmarks and Archived them, but wasn't able to find Firefox 2.0 Bookmarks (original) nor the HyperBK version, except in HyperBk Backups folder.In the "Edit this Bookmark" window, use the 2nd drop-down button, that is to the right of the "Folder", to open a larger window that will allow more folder to appear. See the sloppy red arrow on the screenshot below.

How to get only one line between tables in database diagram?
Hi!
I'm using jdev 10.1.3. I've got a database schema with a lot of tables. I would like to have them in one database diagram in compact view with only ONE line between two tables even if there are more foreign key columns between the two tables. In the shema there are a lot of foreign keys with multiple columns and the diagram is hard to read.
How to archieve this?
Thanks,
Carsten.hi,
u should use the same variable across all your queries.In the WAD there is a propoerty "display same variable once". Check that.
hope it helps,

How to get only one record per machine
I have this SQL statement that works.
SELECT
cn.Name0 AS [Computer Name],
cn.Model0 AS [Model],
cn.Manufacturer0 AS [Manufacturer],
bios.SerialNumber0 AS [Serial Number],
rs.Operating_System_Name_and0 AS [OS Type],
--ld.FreeSpace0 AS [Free Disk Space],
--ld.Size0 AS [Actual Disk Size],
x86.TotalPhysicalMemory0 AS [Total Memory],
aa.SMS_Assigned_Sites0 AS [Assigned Site]
FROM
v_GS_COMPUTER_SYSTEM cn INNER JOIN v_GS_LOGICAL_DISK ld on cn.ResourceID = ld.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_GS_PARTITION gs ON cn.ResourceID = gs.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_GS_X86_PC_MEMORY x86 ON gs.ResourceID = x86.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_R_System rs ON gs.ResourceID = rs.resourceID
INNER JOIN v_GS_PC_BIOS bios ON rs.resourceID = bios.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_RA_System_SMSAssignedSites aa ON bios.ResourceID = aa.ResourceID
WHERE
cn.Model0 LIKE '%780%'
ORDER BY
cn.Name0
The problem is whent his runs it returns multiple rows for each serial number/machine it finds. So I'll have 5 or 6 rows for the exact same machine. How do I make it only give me 1 row for each serial number/machine?
mqh7... because you added v_GS_PARTITION gs (which results in multiple rows per resource) and then you are doing the inner join blues.
This should be better:
SELECT
cn.Name0 AS [Computer Name],
cn.Model0 AS [Model],
cn.Manufacturer0 AS [Manufacturer],
bios.SerialNumber0 AS [Serial Number],
rs.Operating_System_Name_and0 AS [OS Type],
--ld.FreeSpace0 AS [Free Disk Space],
--ld.Size0 AS [Actual Disk Size],
x86.TotalPhysicalMemory0 AS [Total Memory],
aa.SMS_Assigned_Sites0 AS [Assigned Site]
FROM
v_GS_COMPUTER_SYSTEM cn
-- INNER JOIN v_GS_LOGICAL_DISK ld on cn.ResourceID = ld.ResourceID
--INNER JOIN v_GS_PARTITION gs ON cn.ResourceID = gs.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_GS_X86_PC_MEMORY x86 ON x86.ResourceID = cn.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_R_System rs ON rs.ResourceID = cn.resourceID
INNER JOIN v_GS_PC_BIOS bios ON bios.resourceID = cn.ResourceID
INNER JOIN v_RA_System_SMSAssignedSites aa ON aa.ResourceID = cn.ResourceID
WHERE cn.Model0 LIKE '%780%'
ORDER BY
cn.Name0

Deleting duplicate records from different data packets in BI data source.
Hi,
I am getting same (duplicate) records from different data packets in BI data source, after completion of extraction.
I tried to store key fields of the first data packet in an internal table. But this internal table is not carrying the previous data at the time of extraction of second data packet.
Is there any other way to remove duplicate records after completion of extraction.
Thanks in advance.I did not extensively worked in BI routenes. But I recon there will be routene which will het executed before data mapping part there will be a start routene in which you can validate the existense of data before beeing passed from data source to cube.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Murthy. -
How can i get all the records from three tables(not common records)
Hi
I have four base tables at R/3-Side. And i need to extract them from R/3-Side.
And i dont have any standard extractor for these tables .
If i create a 'View' on top of these tables. Then it will give only commom records among the three tables.
But i want all the records from three base tables (not only common).
So how can i get the all records from three tables. please let me know
kumarYou can create separate 3 datasources for three tables and extract data to BW. There you can implement business login to build relation between this data.

Dg4odbc 11.2 to mysql desc table issue, query return only one record
<h2>Hi,
I have the following set up:
11g R2 RAC oracle database, dg4odbc 11.2, UnixODBC 2.3 driver manager, MySQL ODBC 5.1.7 Driver on 64 bit Suse SLES 11 server.
Remote database MySQL version 5.0.67 running on 32 bit linux server.
I am having the following Issues:
1. When desc table, sometimes only the first field is shown:
SQL> desc sub_index@mybilltracker;
Name Null? Type
subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
SQL> desc "sub_index"@mybilltracker;
Name Null? Type
subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
Some other times I am able to see the correct table definition:
SQL> desc "sub_index"@mybilltracker;
Name Null? Type
subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
sess_id NUMBER(10)
sess_yr NUMBER(10)
subject_name VARCHAR2(255)
SQL> desc sub_index@mybilltracker;
Name Null? Type
subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
2. Select count(*) returns the total number of rows correctly. Select * or Select "field name" from table returns only one row:
SQL> select count(*) from "mbt_user"@mybilltracker;
COUNT(*)
2
SQL> select "user_id", "email" from "mbt_user"@mybilltracker; _(always return only one record!)_
user_id email

Has anybody seen this? Can somebody help me pinpoint the problem? Thank you!

I have Office 2011 which includes Word. Ever since downloading Mavericks, when I try to send a two-page Word document by email, some recipients get only one page. Also when burning an image from iPhoto (usually no larger than 1mb) on to a disc, only part of it appears. It appears to have been magnified so that only a part of the image appears. Can anyone enlighten me as to what is happening? And how to fix it??

Fault Management (FMA) visibilty to kernel memory
Does FMA have visibility to kernel memory? I read some docs and it mentions about the cpumem-diagnosis module able to diagnose CPU & memory. It's not clear to me if it does kernel memory as well. Can someone clear that up for me? Thanks!
