i am getting resound from left speaker, what to do

Omnidirectional michrophone is placed under the left speaker grill in MBP.
That may be the reason why you are getting the echo.
Using an headphone may help.
Best.

  • Only Getting Sound From Left Speaker/Earbud

I don't know what's wrong with my Nano, but I've tried the R's and they aren't working.
Basically, there's no sound coming from one of my speakers/earbuds. At first, I thought it was a problem with my earbuds, so I got new ones, and it still didn't work. And then I tried plugging my IPod into my portable speakers, and only one speaker works. I really don't understand. Help Please?

That is very interesting.... I have 2 ideas (meaning they probably will not work but try them anyway)of how you can get the sound correct.
    1. try putting sound check on ( if it is on, then put it on then off. if that doesn't work, go to step 2...
    2. try restoring the ipod(*MAKE SURE YOU CAN GET THE SONGS BACK EASILY BECAUSE THIS MAY NOT WORK, IT'S JUST AN IDEA!*)
    Good Luck!

  • I am getting emails from myself.  What is happening?  What can I do?

I am getting emails from myself.  What is happening?  What can I do?

I am getting the same thing in my Yahoo email account. It simply means that a hacker got to either your list of contacts or any of your friends' list and is using the email addresses to send out spam.
Change your password; however, since the cat is out of the bag so to speak, not much you can do. I've eliminated most of my contacts in my Yahoo account in case it's "raided" again; if this is your main email address, I'd probably send an email to your friends warning them that they might be getting spam and it's really not from you. You can also delete that account and start another, but it may be hacked again...

  • No sound from left speaker headphone out

Suddenly no sound coming from left speaker through headphone output only. Records in stereo plays in stereo but no sound on left. Tried all the usual suspects ....no luck.  Any suggestions

Nowhere near enough information to go on, really. If this is a switched socket and the speaker works when it's not connected, then there's either a socket fault or a headphone fault.  Try it with another pair of headphones and see if it still happens. If it doesn't, you have faulty headphones. If it does, then you have some sort of a wiring or socket fault.

  • Mono audio playing from left speaker only

For websites who have mono recorded (single channel) podcasts, audio in firefox will only play from left speaker instead of picking center channel.
If audio is downloaded and played on seprate dedicated player it defaults to center or if same site is played in IE also defaults to center.
Stereo recorded podcasts have no issue.

I assume that not a Flash player is used in this case, but that this is an issue with the (built-in) HTML5 media player and the audio tag is used.
    Is that correct?
The Flash player should show the Flash context menu if you right-click the player area.

  • Mackbook Pro 17 inch loud hissing from left speaker

Has anyone had a problem with 17 Inch Macbook Pro, loud hissing from left speaker after a full SMC reset?
It only makes the hissing sound when a audio clip or system sound is in progress.
    Cheers
    MC

    Fixed.
Whilst playing around with the balance control, I discovered left was right and right was left.
Opened the top cover, unplugged flipped over and replugged the speaker plug on the left board (it looks like it's a one way plug but it still allows it to be plugged in the wrong way).
    Working properly now.
Hope this helps someone out there.
    Cheers

  • 2011 MBP 17" 2.3 GHz - High pitch hissing sound from left speaker

When I transfer large amounts of data (wifi and ethernet) I get a high pitch hissing sound from the left speaker. When the transfer is done, the hissing stops.
Is anyone else experiencing this and is there anything I can do to stop it?
When it occurred: I was transferring data from my old MBP to my new 2011 MBP first via WiFi, then by Ethernet (much faster . My old (2007) MBP had not hissing what so ever, by my new MBP was rather loud. I'm very happy it's only when using the network.

I get this sound every time I download, WiFi or Ethernet it dosen't matter the sound is the same. I can't guarantee that it's from the speaker, I have an old Netgear switch that sounds the same when I use it (just to clarify: I'm not using that switch anymore or ever have with this MBP)
So it could be some electrical sound (I'm not a hardware engineer) just a guess.

  • A Single POP Sound from Left speaker, after system heavy load.

Hello From Russia)) I bought Brand New Macbook pro 15" Late 2011 Ci7, this is incredible machine. But a month past and i started to notice a very strange behavior:
When i using mac for resource "Eating" application or processes my computer starts to Heat-this is normal.
When i close all the apps here starts interesting) I have Istat installed, so i can see what temps are in my system. Computer is cooling, and when cpu reaches 50-55 degrees (Celsium, from 80 degrees, because of heavy load) ,my left speaker produces a single loud pop sound. (like something turning of may be)
In other terms of use absolutely is fine! It is very strange and i dont know is normal or not(
Thank you very much, and sorry for my english.

That is not something I would expect.  I would go to a repair facility and have it checked.
    Ciao.

  • No sound from left speaker on Pavilion DV7-3128CA laptop

I have a DV7 laptop that I purchased in May 2010.  I have always used headphones for this laptop.  Over the last few months, I had trouble getting audio from the left side of the headphones.  Usually I just adjusted the headphone cord and the problem went away.  As time progressed, it became increasingly difficult to get audio, but i figured it was just a loose connection on my headphones.  .  I then tried a different set of headphones in both headphone terminals and the same result, minimal audio at best.  It seems the right hand speaker on the jack is perfect, music and DVD's, it is just the left side of the audio on the headphone jacks.  Any suggestions?

    Hi,
    Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59001-59500/sp59154.exe
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete.  Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices.  Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio in both speakers.

  • T61p has awful static/clipping from left speaker

    Hello all,
I just got a T61p (6457MM1) today and love it (well, I love it after I turned off the "Beep" driver that was making the keyboard beep every time I typed "around".)
The only problem with it is that the sound out of the left speaker is, well, crap. It clips, there's a static sort of sound, it generally sounds awful.
I have the latest version of the sound card drivers as listed on the Lenovo site. I have run Windows Update and installed all of those.
I searched the Internet and found some people [http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=261186] who are reporting this same problem and that it occurred due to a BIOS update. Given that this system is brand new (and that I've run through the ThinkPad updater too), I'm confident it has the latest BIOS.
Is Lenovo aware of this/is there something I can do?
The easiest way to hear the problem is to open the Sound Control Panel. click "Configure", then click Test. You can hear that in the test tone, the left speaker sounds substantially worse than the right. This occurs at any volume.
Also, I wanted to set up the password reset service questions, in case I ever forgot my BIOS supervisor password. I set it up in the BIOS, but the help text then says to run the "Create Recovery Media" program from Windows? I ran that program and made the CD, but it didn't ask me to set any questions and if I look in the BIOS again it still says the status of the password reset service is "In Progress".
I wanted to burn a set of recovery discs, but I can't, every time I try I get an error message that says "The files required for creating the rescue media cannot be found," then "An internal error has caused this process to fail." I am talking with my sales rep to try to get a set of recovery discs sent to me since the program to make them isn't working.
Is there some other way to establish the password reset service questions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
I own a T42p since 4 years now and has always been working like a dream, except for a harddisk failure. Since I did create a backup to CD/DVD I was able to restore my Windows XP environment without much trouble. I subsequently updated my laptop with WIN-SP3, updated BIOS etc etc, and updated all Thinkvantage software (e.g. RnR 4.2, Client Solution 8 etc etc).
I also 'updated/repaired' the MBR, based on a Lenovo defect based on the same error, but didn't solve the issue.
Problem: I have not been able to create a new complete CD/DVD backup set.  The error message from RnR is "The files required for creating the rescue media cannot be found," then "An internal error has caused this process to fail", as StarmanDX excperienced.
I can continue to create the backup, but I cannot create the corresponding boot disk.

  • AUdigy 4, poping sound from left speaker ?

So i get this poping sound from my left speaker, but the right speaker is ok. I use Audgigy 4.

Hi moon, and welcome to Apple Discussions.
Sounds like it's time to speak with someone higher up, and politely explain the situation to them. If no luck there, call Apple Customer Relations. Make sure you get case numbers for each time they attempt to fix something.

When i tilt the laptop the problem is resolved i.e. the clicing stops and the sound returns to normal. After a few minutes the same problem returns until i tilt the laptop or lift it again.

It would be nice to get this working...

To Start with, check in sound balance...to do that...
Go to control panel -> Sound -> Double Click on Speakers -> Levels -> Balance...
