I am getting RPD0018 Error from IDS for few portal requests

Hi,
We are getting RPD0018 error from IDS for few portal requests. I thought this error was generating when the IDS max wait time sets 30 seconds for gendata to respond back. I have changed this IDS Wait time to 180 Seconds, but still i am getting the same error. I was not able to figure out the cause. Can some one help me out?

Hi,
This error is likely being thrown by GenData due to some failure in the generation, not by the max wait time. According to the documentation:
"Category: Error: Bridge Configuration
Gendata failure in //ROWSET[@NAME="RPD0018"]//VAR[@NAME="LOCATION"].
Cause: Gendata failed.
Remedy: Fix Gendata errors and try again.
You should look at the transactions that are failing and debug the forms/sections being generated.

I have updated my bois to the latest 1.70 version for my K9N Neo 1.0 motherboard and get an error from bios that the S.M.A.R.T drives dont work and that i cant be read from my Sata DVD recorder?
I have a samsung lightscribe 18X dvd recorder and it was no problem until i updated the bios. I have tryed to turn off s.m.a.r.t drives checkup but i still get the error.
What can i do to stop bios from the error? now i have turn my bios to "no errors" so i dont have to clickon F1 every time i start och restart my computer.
im using:
XP PRO 32Bit
AMD AM2 4200+
2048 MB Corsair 800Mhz Ram
2 x WD 250 GB Sata II 8 MB
1 x Samsung dvd lightscribe recorder

Hey, I've had this issue for a while, and my work around for it was just not using iChat. However, I want to use iChat now so I need a proper resolution. Now I have mobile me with my [email protected] address, and I have my iChat account with [email protected] (created before my MM subscription).
When I log into iChat for the first time, within minutes I get an error from MobileMe saying "You've entered an incorrect password for MobileMe, please try again"... I didn't do anything though.
If I go to MobileMe in System Preferences, it says: "Your password has changed. Enter your new password.
If you have not changed (or reset) your password contact MobileMe support."
If I enter my password in and get that fixed, the next time I start up iChat it says: "Your login ID or password is incorrect"... soo I'm confused.
The password for my @me and @mac addresses are different, is it possible they are sharing the same keychain? I do have the check box ticked to remember the password.
Any idea's?

I would not repair at this time.
In the list of password you should find the one for iChat Or possibly several for iChat if you have different Account/Screen Names list by their Account names.
Double click on the one that is causing you issue.
In the new window that pops up put a tick in the Password Box. You will probably have to confirm with your Admin Password to Allow Once.
Does this show the right password ?
If not change the Password.
If it does then click the Access Tab and see if iChat is Allowed (Or Allow All is being used)
Either change to Allow All or add iChat to the List.

This worked...found on a prior discussion:
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page)...

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you just downloaded and ran.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Restart your computer.
Re-download Itunes (latest version form Itunes website) and install. It worked!

I am also having this problem, especially with scanned documents. Since I need to download scanned documents in my work this is a big problem!Sometimes I can read but not save the document, sometimes one or two of the pages will be blank from the start. I have the latest version of Adobe Reader XI (11.0.10). I tried reducing the page zoom, a suggested workaround on this page: Acrobat: “Insufficient data for an image” error after updating to 10.1.4 or 9.5.2, but that did not help at all. FWIW I use a Windows 8.1 PC with 4 GB RAM. I usually download PDFs from the internet using Firefox.

Delete the following folders:
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/backup
[Startup Disk]/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher/
Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility, Open it and Select the MAC HD and then click on Repair permissions.
After that try to run the cleaner tool as mentioned by kglad.
Restart machine and then try to install again.
*** Make sure , you only delete these folders if there is no other adobe applications installed on the machine. As if you have any other Adobe application of the suite ( not free applications ) then it will be a problem.

Which Acrobat version are you using? Do you use "Document Timestamp" command? If so, do you get this error during the signing process and the signature is not created or signature is created and you get this error when it is validated? If the latter you can open signature properties, click on the "Advanced Properties" and in the next dialog on timestamp's "Show Certificate". If you get this error during the signing process do you get an alert that shows some cryptic info with a number? If you do provide the content of this alert.

We have registered an Extra Information Type as self service OAF page and did some validations using user hook which are working fine. But for some requests EIT creation page is throwing below errors.
1. Encountered an error while getting the ORACLE user account for your concurrent request. Contact your system administrator.
2. An unexpected situation occurred while executing routine FND_DATA_SECURITY.GET_SECURITY_PREDICATE_HELPER.The cause was: The parameter 'p_object_name' cannot be 'GLOBAL'.
System throws these errors whenever user hook suppose to throw our customized validation messages.Since we are at UAT instance, we are bouncing apache and oacore to get rid of these errors every time they appear. But we cannot bounce once it is moved to production.
Kindly share some ideas to fix these errors as we are very close to Go-Live and we are facing this issue with all EIT's and SIT's.

Thanks for reply.
I have gone through the link that you have suggested. But our EIT user hook validations doesn't have any code related to submission of concurrent programs. More over our error is not stable. If we bounce the apache and oacore, the system will work fine without unexpected errors for some time. We are not even able to replicate these errors.

There's a lots of installation guide but each guide is for a "standard" installation, your environment is unique and you should get help to be sure to implement SCCM to fulfill your needs.
Installing SCCM without any experience will be tricky and maintain it will be even harder. This is not a simple product.

Possibly the permissions are not set to WRITE permission
Possibly there has been a "user mistake" and you think you are copying to a drive you have been using for over a year but something has accidentally changed and you're copying to a different location

I get an error message "waiting for activation" while trying to turn on imessage

I had to reset my Apple ID password. After doing this i now have to log back into everything that requires an Apple ID to operate on my 5C. I dont currently have cell coverage as im traveling in Italy for work and don't have international coverage. Is there a way for Imessage to verify my new AppleID password without recieving an SMS from Verizon. My phone is currently in Airplane mode with date and all roaming shut off to keep from getting an expensive charge. I have Wifi through a hot spot i carry with me but the Imessage gives an error message saying "waiting for activation" From everything i have found i guess it's waiting for network (Verizon) verification. Back to my question, is there a way to have Imessage verify my new Apple ID password over wifi using my email address instead of carrier verification? This seems to have worked for Facetime but i know facetime only uses Wifi.

Help: Getting permission errors from an important document

I'm having permissions errors with a specific document. I've tried running Disk Utility with no luck.
The problem started when I tried to restore an older version of the document from Time Machine. Time Machine gave me an error saying I didn't have permissions to save the restored document. Time Machine also removed my newer version of the document, because I said I wanted Time Machine to replace the old document with the new one.
I was able to save the document from Time Machine to an external drive. But now I'm getting permissions errors with that document and I'm unable to save. The document is a Moneywell document (Moneywell is a finance app).
Here are some more details:
When I tried to saved the document, I got the following error: The file “Moneywell 2013.moneywell” is locked.
If you want to make changes to this document, click Unlock. To keep the file unchanged and work with a copy, click Duplicate.
There were three buttons: Duplicate, Cancel, Unlock
When I clicked Unlock, I got the following message:
"The file “Moneywell 2013.moneywell” cannot be unlocked.
You can duplicate this document and edit the duplicate."
There were two buttons: Cancel and Duplicate.
I clicked Duplicate and got the following message:
"Could Not Duplicate File
Moneywell could not duplicate your file at this time"
There was one button: OK
When I clicked OK, I got the following message:
"“Moneywell 2013.moneywell” couldn’t be copied because you don’t have permission to access 'Dropbox'
To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info."
So, I clicked OK.
I was saving to my Drop Box folder so I thought I'd try saving it somewhere else. I dragged the document out of my Dropbox folder and into my Documents folder (which is the parent folder for my Dropbox folder).
I got the same errors as I did when the document was in my Dropbox folder. Only this time when I chose Duplicate it's telling me I don't have permissions to my Documents folder:
"“Moneywell 2013.moneywell” couldn’t be copied because you don’t have permission to access “Documents”. To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info."
So, I don't know what's going on. I had none of these problems yesterday and my Moneywell document is the only document giving me this trouble.
I know permissions problems like this one are common so I hope someone can help me.

Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1 or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Boot into Recovery. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select
