I have a new computer and this appearing on my home page - how do I fix it?

Looks like a problem with some Ad-blocking software. This can be your firewall or an extension that has corrupted the page code.
You can reload the page and bypass the cache with:
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but if you can load the page, do so and then open the Safari preferences window, select the General tab, and click the button marked Set to Current Page.

If you are talking about your background wallpaper then its because the picture resolution is bigger than the screen resolution of your iPhone. When setting your background wallpaper, you can choose a picture from your camera/presets and then you can drag it around on the screen until you have the desired cropped photo for your background. If this is unacceptable then you would need to shrink the photo's resolution somehow, which is easy I think but I am not qualified to give you an explanation having never attempted.

You can start by checking the Home page setting to see if that still links to the Google Home page (http://www.google.com/firefox)
* Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page
You can also check the startup setting just above the home page setting.
If the home page setting isn't correct and changing it doesn't last if you close and reopen Firefox then you need to check if the file [http://kb.mozillazine.org/prefs.js_file prefs.js] in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] isn't corrupted.

In the earlier version I had of Firefox 3. something-can't remember now, whenever I opened up a new tab it automatically opened up in my home page "Bing" http://www.bing.com. Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.

I want to print the story on a story site but all that gets printed is the home page.

If I go to a site where readers have posted stories I want to print out those stories so I can read them in a comfortable chair and not have to stare at a computer screen. When using Internet Explorer when I click on the story and then hit ctr+p it will print out the story no matter how many pages it is.
When I try that on Firefox all that gets printed is the home page of the site.
By the way, my computer shop installed Firefox the other day so I don't know what version it is.

If that is the case then you may have lost intermediate certificates that were stored in the cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder.

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
