I am have problems reactivating CS version 8.
I get a message that states: We're sorry. The activation system is not available at this time. Please choose one of the following: I have tried all the options listed. Any ideas of what I have to do to activate the software?

That's how I understand it too: owners of CS Windows are affected by the shutdown of the activation server so AFAIK they're entitled to download the non-activation version of CS2.
The wording at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l is unclear on this point and confusing by its silence to say the least but I've never seen anything from Adobe staffers in these forums saying CS Win owners cannot download CS2.

I buy a a MSI K8T Neo-V motherboard with a CPU Sempron 2800+ Rev E6 (64bits).

I update the bios to version 5 and now the Cpu Info is Showme Correctly.
but 2 problems begins.

1.- At try Shutdowns the pc (in windows set Start\Shutdows\Shutdown) the pc is reset and not off.
(If I have in windows XP and press the button off the pc is reset/I try in linux and the same, the pc is not off, only reset) :-(
only what th pc is not in windows (at begins) the button off works Ok.
2.- In the Bios The Temperature Info ( Cpu and System ) is show swap.
3.- I use a Sound Card Cmedia, this card have pc game port. but the Pc/Administrator/Device Show
2 pc game port (1-motherboard/1-SoundCard) and the 1º iks show with yellow mark. :-(

carlos vargasDo a floppy drive flash with the correct switches. Go back to the last bios that worked properly or try Pinochio's bios which a lot of people like. Liveupdate will mess up your bios. So can winflash if you do not use it correctly.

After you have read about it, do this using the correct flash utilty file name and the correct bios file name
"DOS floppy flash shall be performed with :
awfl833d.exe w7030nms.180 /py /sn /wb /cc /cd /cp /f /e
(Replace biosfilename with appropriate version for Neo1/neo2 etc , switches remain the same )
After flash is complete :
TURN OFF PSU (don't restart) wait 15 seconds
Turn on again , press the power button .
Enter BIOS and load optimized defaults (NO OTHER CHANGES) , save + exit
Boot the system again with the floppy in the drive to let the DMI pool build and update itself .

Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget. -

So, in iTunes, when you look at the shuffle's content (in the sidebar) and click on the playlist under the shuffle, over to the right, the songs are in your desired order, correct? Where do you look, or what do you do, that indicates the playlists are in alphabetical order? Are you saying that when you play the songs while using the shuffle, they play in alphabetical order?
If so, when you listen to the songs on the shuffle, are you using the playlist, or are you using the All Songs list? If you are in the default All Songs list, with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order (the middle position), the songs play alphabetically, I believe.
The 3rd gen shuffle uses VoiceOver. If you are in the All Songs list, you need to use VoiceOver to switch to the playlist (see manual linked below for details). When you are in the playlist (with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order), then the songs should play in playlist order.

I can run about an hour and then it hangs up. Doesn't seem to depend on what website or program I am running. I walk away to change the laundry and come back and its hung. In the middle of a game on facebook, it hangs. Didn't have this problem with the version I used before. I have always liked Firefox and have used for a number of years. Don't want to change if it can be fixed.

Can a pdf have problems when created with multiple PDF versions?
In our everyday workflow, we have PDFs created from different versions. Our main files are created as PDF v1.5, but then we might import pages created from another software that is v1.3, then we might scan and add a page that is created as v1.6. Has anyone noticed any issues with files created this way? I am troubleshooting some problem files and wonder if this could be contributing.
Thanks.Could possibly be an issue, but it likely depends on the features used. The major problem would be going from later versions to prior versions in terms of the version you open everything in. If you are using the latest version for the editing, I would not see why there would be a problem. Earlier versions of Acrobat may have problems with PDFs saved in later versions, but that can typically be fixed with Reduce File Size or the PDF Optimizer.

its a Real estate site and when i open the site and request a list of properties I need to check, the next page does not charge the info, only the header of it.cor-el, I started Firefox in the Safe Mode as recommended. It looked and worked fine. Same after I closed and reopened it. As suggested, I shut down and restarted and so far it is operating "normally." Pages open on the first try and the back button works just fine. The double headers are gone and all my Bookmarks are in place. I did not change any settings or stop any functions (add-on's, etc).
Hopefully this has solved the issue. Only time will tell. Thanks for your help. I also have a long list of other things to try from Safe Mode if the issue returns.
