I am haveing issues trying to connedt my iPad to my Qwest wireless rounter

Describe the issues.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

TS2755 Is anyone else having issues trying to send out text messages since the new update?

Been having issues sending out iMessages to other iPhone users. Seems to be very slow to send or does not send at all since the new update. I've been having to restart my phone or click the message and send as a text. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue?

I had trouble texting today as the touch screen was not responsive until I rebooted. Had nothing to do with my carrier.
I also have trouble with the SwiftKey app when the keyboard does not display. I sometimes can get it back up by going in Setting-General-Keyboard-SwiftKey and turning it off then back on. But just as many times it will only display again after a reboot. I don't know if this is iOS 8.1.1 or SwiftKey.

Ipod having issues, trying to restrat my ipod manually, stuck on restart screen, help?

My ipod has been acting up lately,i try to open apps, and it closes them off.
The issues I'm having at the moment is, i figured restarting my ipod manually (clickling the lock button and home button at the same time) would fix it.
But not it is stuck on the restart screen (dim lit screen with apple symbol) and i cant get it to go away, whether i restart it again or hook it up to my computer.
Please help?

Magically, my ipod touch opened this afternoon.
Through two weeks I tried several things like push power button for couple of minutes then push power and home button together for a couple of minutes. I replied this for a few times in a day. Also I put charge for 2 days after I firstly recognized my ipod is black out. But for a long time I didn't try charge for a long time (just half an hour etc.)
I put charge at morning today then when I came home at afternoon ( approximately 12-14 hours) my ipod touch was full charged and opened.
I promised that I will write my solution. I'm not sure this is a solution or not but my ipod touch is alive now.

New to java and having issues trying to modify sample code.

i was trying to edit the following code to add about 10+ more labels and textfields and save the information to the contacts.dat in the code. it currently displays all the fields i entered, but it only saves the first 7 fields information?? not sure why. also i was trying to just line the fields up using a flowlayout but it just errors. anyone have any suggestions?

Podcast was accepted, then denied. Having issues trying to resubmit it.

Long story.
Back in February I submitted my podcast to the store. It was accepted, I subscribed to it and everything was peachy. About a week later, I got an e-mail saying it had then been rejected. Only thing was, I didn't see this e-mail until recently, about a month ago, as it had gotten into the wrong folder, yadda yadda whatever. I never noticed anything wrong because every time I uploaded a new podcast to my site, it showed up in my feed no issues. Still does. However, others have told me they couldn't find my podcast, so I tried to search for it again. It apparently does not exist now on iTunes, even though I still get updates in my iTunes with every upload. I tried to ask customer service about this and got nowhere.
The only thing I was able to get from customer service was that it is possible a change we made to the website caused this to happen and all I should really need to do is resubmit. Trouble is, whenever I resubmit I get the error that the feed already exists, even though it apparently doesn't show up in the iTunes store for podcasts. So I'm told that I need to change the title and link fields in the RSS feed, which I do not know how to do. I use wordpress and the powerpress plugin for my podcasts. I've been dealing with this for a few months now and I just want to get it fixed. PLEASE HELP!!!

Having issue trying to import large (23min) clip into iMovie 08 and FCEx 4.0.1

Through my iMac 2.0GHz 2GB ram, Intel Core Duo using OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). Try to no success to import a 23 min AVCHD clip into either
iMovie 08 or FCEx 4.0.1. I know my mac, OS and software are antiquated by today's current editions, but that said never had this issue before.
Footage was shot with Sony NX5u camera using SDHC (class 10) media. The event I shot has 54 video clips on the card. All but this large clip
will import. So I don't think it's some kinda of file structure issue. Otherwise I think none of the clips would have imported into to either editing program.
Each (iMovie 08 and FCEx) will begin the import process for this large clip. iMovie begins to import, but in the end only 11:28 of the full 23 min. get imported.
FCEx after beginning to import eventually aborts the import. I know in the past I've been able to import long clips (15-20min) with no issues. Maybe
someone here has a solution. Dare I say I need to bump my ram up to 6GB, upgrade to Yosemite, upgrade to latest iMovie or FCPX. Considered trying
Adobe Premier. Right now I'm wide open for any suggestions on how to tackle this problem.

First thing that comes to mind is - Have You just installed FinalCut on
Your Mac. There are a known problem with this so that You have to
go to Library folder and move out FCE or pro files to make share back
to camera to work in iMovie.

This can happen with iMovie 3 or iMovie 4. This does not occur with iMovie HD 5.0.
The solution is to temporarily move the following files from /Library/QuickTime / to the Desktop:
Final Cut Pro HD
? DesktopVideoOut.component
? DVCPROHDVideoOutput.component
Final Cut Express HD
? DesktopVideoOut.component
Restart the computer and try exporting from iMovie to your camera.
When you need to use Final Cut Pro HD or Final Cut Express HD again, drag these files back to /Library/QuickTime / and restart the computer.

VBS - Having issues trying to delete duplicate UEFI firmware objects in BCM/NVRAM

We've been using SCCM 2012 R2 to test deployments of Window 8.1 to UEFI-enabled Lenovo laptops. We found that when you image these laptops over and over again a new "Windows Boot Manager" entry is created as a boot option each time. After much
hair pulling, we finally found a couple references to the issue:

In that second link, particularly the comment referenced, someone posted a VBS that will use WMI to automatically clean up firmware boot loader entries. This would be great since we could just add a task sequence step during SCCM OSD, and not have to do
it manually like the Technet entry wants us to.
The problem is I'm not great with scripting, and can usually get by modifying someone else's script. This time, however, I can't get this one to work for the life of me. So you don't have to keep looking at the second link, here's the contents of the script:

After pasting that into VBSedit the first thing I did was fix all the quotation marks that invariably get jacked up when copy/pasting from webpages. I also noticed a random single quote mark at the end of line 35 that I figured was a typo, so I removed it:

However, after that got fixed, I'm still getting an error "script.vbs (34, 15) Microsoft VBScript compilation error: Expected 'Then'". I'm guessing that line 34 needs some kind of logical operator for the "If Err.number 0 then" statement.
But, I can't figure out what it would be, i.e. <> 0, = 0, etc.
Just to play around with it I tried both, and still get errors regarding line 35. So, I'm guessing something is really messed up around there. I would really appreciate anyone that could give me some guidance as my forehead is sore from banging it into the
keyboard. Thanks.

Is anyone else having issues with netflix on there ipad?

My netflix freezes when i select a movie and when the pop up comes up it doesnt show a description of the movie wont let me push the play button or exit out of that pop up. Anyone else having this issue. Netflix said theycant help. Also on a side note netflix works on my apple tv and my laptop it is just on my ipad air. Thanks in advance for any help that can begiven

I'm having issues with CalDAV freezing my Ipad 4s

I have an error message saying that CalDAV password for my work email is not correct and it will not allow me to hit cancel to get around it nor will it allow me to shut down the ipad. How can I get around this?

Try this.....of FarmVille or Facebook app is what your using, then don't use that.
Just go to the web page and log into Facebook and see if it works that way. The Facebook app may not run those specific items like the cows and plants because those items are server based.

Is anyone having issues deleting their account from iPad or iPhone?

I have an iPad (3rd Gen) and no matter how many times I delete iCloud, Find my phone and Reset all data/content it still opens with "This iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID"? So if I wish to sell my iPad, currently I cant as I cant diactivate it from my account.
I've reset 4 times and have what I'd call a clean set up but it opens with thiis "Linked account message"... (iOS7)

Having issues sending message from my ipad.

I am attempting to send a message to a friend. We both have and iPhone and iPad. I can send him a message only from my iPhone but he does not receive when I send from my iPad. Requesting assistance to troubleshoot.

Be sure you do not turn on Restrictions in your device.
Turn off Show Subject in Settings>>Message
Reset the Network Setting, which makes your phone to forget every networks and passwords that you connected your phone to.
to reset the Network Settings just go to Settings - General - Reset (at the bottom) - Reset Network Settings.
I remember when I reset the Network Settings, i turned off iMessages. I connected to my home Wi-Fi and surfed the web for a little while. Sent some regular SMS messages, and about 10min later, I turned on iMessages again and sent a text to a friend with an iPhone and it started working as iMessage! Baloons finally became blue.
Try to unsign and sign in again.
For FaceTime and iMessage chosse to use your email address instead of your mobile number.
Go to Settings>>Message>>Send&Receive and set your email address.
If it is still not working, unsign your Apple ID and select your mobile number ("+" "country code" "mobile number").
Go to www.apple.com or Settings>>iCloud then access your Apple ID. There you can edit your information, placing your phone number and tap OK. then go to iMessage settings and mark your phone number to receive iMessages.
Also check in: Settings>>Message if you turned on iMessage before. Here, turn off "Show Subject Field".
Change your address for your currently location. If not works, change it for your native country.
Did you turn on iCloud as well?
