Instead they choose not to call even if I pay the extra charges. How's that possible !?!?!?!?!? Please is there someone there to help If there is anyone at Best Buy reading this message please do something about it, Yes it is a mistake a small one and 5 minutes of your time would correct everything. We are running out of time delivery dates in 2 days. And if someone else can help me to post this at the proper place Please let me know.
More than likely, the package will go back to BB. Hopefully, they will contact you for the correct adddress. If you don't get your package, you may need to cancel the charges on your credit card.

i have a k8n neo platinum edition, nvidia nforce3 250gb chipset mobo. recently i was playing on my computer then out of no where it just shuts off. went to try to turn it back on and the computer fans spun for less then a second then went off and nothing else happened. i assumed immediately that it was probally a bad psu so i bought a new one, and i still have the same problem. ive taken everything but the graphics card,processor, and psu out and it still wont work. i get no post or anything and the fans on the out side are the ownly things that react to me hitting the power button. i have no clue what else to try or do. i really need to get on it for work very soon. also i built this computer 2 or 3 years ago and havent had a problem till now.

Week Old MacBook, Big Problem need help fast!!
Well im on my Macbook tonight and i get a message about a new softwhare update so i go ahead and instal it. Then it tells me to restart my comp so i do and as it boots up my screan goes blue and nothing happens. Its just blue. I shut it down and restart it and same thing only this time its goes from blue to a black screan. And jsut my luck its 11:30 at night so i cant call mac. Im pretty peturbed that this would happen to a less than a week old Macbook. Please help me. THanks

If you have about 5GB or so free space on the internal hard drive, you can use your OS X Install disc to perform an Archive and Install to recover from the failed Software Update. When the computer restarts, download and run the OS X Update Combo 10.4.11 (Universal). When the Mac restarts after that, run Software Update. During all this, make sure nothing interrupts or shuts down the Mac! Note that the first start after each of these updates will take significantly longer than subsequent starts, so be very patient.
How did you back up your internal drive to the external one? Did you just drag things over in the Finder, or did you use a utility such as SuperDuper! or CarbonCopyCloner? Does the external HD show up as a bootable volume in System Preferences > Startup Disk, or using Startup Manager? -

Some weeks ago I installed this database on my PC, and everything was working fine. I could access to the DB, with the web interface or command line.
But I uninstalled all the system 'cause suddenly I started having problems with the SQL command line, and now, after reinstalling the system several times, I can't acces to the database (web or command line).

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

Just upgraded to Lion, how can I use my microsoft office especially excel. I'm getting messages that it's no longer supported. This is a BIG problem. Help, please.
Apple has made a serious error not advising people when the Lion upgrade occurs that their present software may/will not be compatible and advise the user of such before and allow a opt out.
All you can do (besides upgrading all your software) is backup your data off the machine (not to TimeMachine) and disconnect all drives.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk and erase your makers hard drive on the far left, (that's the entire drive of everything)
Partition tab: Option: GUID, format OS X extended and click apply so you get a new GUID (replacing the Lion one or trouble occurs later)
Quit and install 10.6, then go through setup and use the same name as before, then update to 10.6.8
Then c boot off the 10.6 disk again and use Disk Utility to Repair the disk the 10.6.8 update messed up.
Then install all your programs again from fresh sources and lastly your user files in the same main user folders as before (music, pictures, documents etc.)
Done as described will get you back just like it was before as close as possible, make SURE to use the same username or else your iTunes and other files get all messed up. Password and drive name can be different though if you wish.
Note: if you've upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6, then you don't get the free iLife as it's not on the 10.6.3 white disks, only on the disks that came with your machine. So that will have to be purchased and reinstalled or use Pacifist to extract it from the 10.5 disks.

WRT54G huge problem NEED HELP! FAST!
I puchashed my WRT54G router about two weeks ago and connected it to my network and connected my xbox and xbox live to it. i noticed the live wasn'tworking as well as it should and found that i needed to open some NAT ports and update my firmware. While updating my firmware the interet page expired and i'd assume it didn't update, then i lost connection to live and the internet. It said on linksys advisor that the network had changed. So i tired to reinstall the router and it would'nt work. i made sure all the plugs were in the correct spot also, and even tried resetting the router but still no dice, and the big problem is i can't even view the router on that i.p website thing!!
p.s. i haveverizon internet and have a westell 1600 modem

its already giving u an ip address in the same DHCP range as of the router . i.e: 192.168.1.xx
u need to just plug in ur router to computer , uninstall the easy link(wont be of any gud in verizon connection ,and its buggy as well ).
once router is connected to computer from port no.1.2.3or 4 ..any one .
Push the reset button on router for 30 seconds ..den unplug the power cable and plug in the power cable after 20 seconds.
then try to log into the routers web user interface - 192.168.1.1
see if it opens?
if yes
then ull find A local ip address option there- change it to - 192.168.7.1
and save settings .after saving the settings u might again kicked off from internet or set up web user interface.
then again , unplug the computer cable from router , and Power from router
wait for 20 seconds , now plug the verizon / westell into back of the router's into internet port as well.
power cycle.
lights should be like -power/wlan/1/internet - on router.
try to go online .
if it works ....let me know the status ?

KT4AV Big problems Please Help!!!
I am having a few problems. I have just built a new computer here are the specs:

I have tried booting this up and it boots up then after about 10 secs it just turns off and makes the "nee nar nee nar" sound like an ambulance. Can anybody please help?i had same problems before..i think its the ram problem..just give it a small 'twitch' to align it a bit and it boots ok..sometimes when i mess up inside my mobo it occurs again and i just have to try and twitch it again untll it's ok....i think the ram slots are not so good and the rams are quite 'loose'..good luck

Today i was listening to music and my zen micro just froze while playing and no buttons could be pressed and the lock button wasnt on. So i took the battery out and rebooted the player but it froze at the creative screen. I went home and i went to recovery mode and tried to reload the firmware but it said erasing firmware for more than 2 hours. So then i tried a format but it said formating for the same amount of time. I need help please. Also, recently i've had problems witht the headphone jack. When ever i would stick it in it would sound distorted and i would have to move it around until i got it to a certain spot to hear it good again. If anyone else has this problem please tell me. One more thing i had returned my other micro zen in for hard dri've probems and this was my new one do u think if i have to return in (hopefully not) that they would accept it.

Let us done each of them with Si

we assign a third parameter called weight to each element in Si which has satisfied the condition Pi>=Ci;
so we we will have

We need to find in each set Si the the pair which has the smallest weight.
if we have (5,2,3) and (6,2,4) then 5,2,3 should be chosen.We should make sure that there is only one pair in every set which is finally chosen on the basis of weight.

distance from the first set, and the pair with the least
distance from the second. I don't see how the distance
function was used.
Also it's not clear to me that there is always a solution,
and, if there is, whether consistently choosing the
furthest or the closest pairs will always work.
The most obvious approach is to systematically try
all possibilities until the answer is reached, or there
are no possibilities left. This means backtracking whenever
a point is reached where you cannot continue. In this case
backtrack one step and try another possibility at this
step. After all possible choices of the previous step,
backtrack one more step and so on.
This seems rather involved, and it probably is.
Interestingly, if you know Prolog, it is ridiculously
easy because Prolog does all the backtracking for you.
In Java, you can implement the algorithm in much the same
way as Prolog implementations do it--keep a list of all the
choice points and work through them until success or there
are none left.
If you do know Prolog, you could generate lots of random
problems and see if there is always a solution. -

If you iPod is defective, in warranty and not abused Apple will replace it with a refurbished one. They may or may not replace it with the white one. You will have to ask.
Other users have asked the same question but I hav never heard them come back with whether or not they go the color changed.
