I am having a new iphone and want to keep all the songs and apps and pictures from my old iphone how do i get it on my new iphone?? My old laptop has the itunes with all the apps and music on but i havent got it any more what am i suppost to do ??

Use your backup copy of your old computer to put everything on your new computer, then sync the iphone to that comptuer.

Why are you setting up a new account anyway? Everything you have ever purchased will forever be tied to the old account, and you'll need to continue to use that account to update apps purchased under it.

My iPhone mail app deletes emails from my hotmail. How can I get my MacBook Air mail app to do the same?

When using Mail on my MacBook Air (I don't open it often), i receive hundrends of emails through it, even if those messages have been deleted from my iPhone/hotmail.
When i set up Mail on my iPhone there was an option that enabled deleted/read messages to also be deleted/read on hotmail automatically.
I can't work out how to join up my MacBook mail with this too? Anybody know what I mean and can help??

Comcast is POP email. I have it as well. POP email does not sync across devices. If I read an email on my iPad it will appear as unread on my Mac in the Mac Mail App when I launch it.That's how POP accounts work. The emails will not sync across devices.

I synced my IPhone but OK'd the wrong button (back-up from old IPhone) and deleted all my data, such as contacts, pictures, videos, notes etc. How can I get my data back, restore all my lost file?

I connected my IPhone 4 with my PC/iTunes to transfer my pictures/viedos to my PC. Unfortunately, I clicked on the wrong button when asked to sync with the old back-up files and ll my data werde deleted from my IPhone.

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

New to Photoshop;Viewing TV and want to save to MY Library to view later. Can't figure out how to save. When I open or click on My Library it shows I need to sign in and within a few seconds it shows my sign in but nothing changes on page.

Those are the instructions for your computer's iTunes (i.e. using the Store menu at the top of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'View My Account' on it). If you are doing it on your iPad then are you following the instructions for iOS devices :
To unhide your purchases
Depending on the content type, open the App Store, iBooks, or iTunes Store on your device.
Scroll to the bottom of the main page.
If you're not already signed in, tap Sign In.
Tap your Apple ID name, then tap View Account.
Scroll down on the Account pane, and tap Hidden Purchases.
Locate the item you would like to unhide then tap the Unhide button.

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPhone has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

I would like to create file folders for my documents I brought over to my ipad from my desktop Mac. I downloaded pages and neu.annotate. My files synced without a problem. PDF articles I put in neu.annotate and pages documents into pages but I would like to organize into folders like on my desktop. How can I do this on the ipad3?

Unlike a 'normal' computer the iPad doesn't have a file system and everything on it has to be stored/associated within an app, you can't have separate folders of documents/files on your iPad's homescreens. If the apps that you have support it then you could possibly use Dropbox to store your documents within a folder structure, but you'd then need internet access in order to access them.

In my collection I have 500 pictures. In the folder that contains those pictures I have 1000. How do I get the ACTUAL folder to ONLY have the 500 that are in the collection?

In other words, I want to delete (from my computer) the 500 pictures that are in the folder that are NOT in the collection .....?

Anything you want to do with these photos can be done from the folder, as if the collection didn't exist (which it shouldn't in this case).

App icons are ghosted in 7.1- how can I get rid of that? (iPhone)

The first screen of app icons is ghosted and remains fixed on the background image as I swipe the 'real' app icons from screen to screen. This happpened with ios 7.1. Any ideas?

It sounds like your Home Screen is showing what appears to be your apps in the background and will not move, but you can still swipe left and right. From the way you describe what is happening, it seems as if the wallpaper for your Home Screen was changed to a screenshot of your Home Screen.
Change the wallpaper. Go to Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness > Choose a New Wallpaper.

I no longer get the whoosh when sending e-mail from my iPad2. How do I get it back?

The email no longer gives the swoosh sound when it is sent. When I go to Sent, I see that it has been sent. Also I no longer get an alarm sound on Timer+ app, however I do get an alarm sound using Clock app. I have rebooted the iPad, but no change.

Have you checked your Sound settings? Settings>Sounds. Go down to the "Sent Mail" line item and select it. Select a different sound, then re-select the Swish sound and close Settings. Then send an email to see if it is working.

Clarifying my question from last pm, re: how do I get LR to stop applying post-crop vignette at time of import to all my photos?

I work on a Mac, shoot in raw, and download directly to hard drive from my camera. I then import images into Lightroom using the "copy" function. For some reason, Lightroom is systematically applying a post-crop vignette to my photos, I am unable to turn it off. Happens regardless of lens I shoot with. Can anyone advise how to change this? I have tried re-setting the vignette to zero before importing, but that does nothing. Regards, Barb in Virginia

Go to Preferences and reset your Default Develop Settings if you want to reset for ALL cameras and file types.
If you want to reset the default for a single camera, in Develop you can hold the Alt key and the "reset" button will change to "set default". The following dialog will appear. Click "Restore adobe default settings"
You should then not have vignette being applied.

All of my Internet Explorer addresses disappeared from my address book - how can I get them back (I do not use Outlook)??

I don't know of anything formally called a "group" in Thunderbird's address book, so any other words or names that appear might help here. For instance, my Address Book has mentions of Address Book Contact, Address Book and List. The "List" is perhaps the closest to the group concept used in other address book environments.

check or uncheck the correct phones numbers and/or email addresses
