You'd also see dozens of identical replies telling why. The servers are busy due to millions of people all trying to download at the same time. -

I've tried OTA and on iTunes and even in DFU mode and the same error shows. I'm sure it's just an overload of download requests.

Am having a problem with downloading iOS 8.1.2 to my iPhone 5C. Tried the over the Air process, not work. Also tried using iTunes on my apple computer,
nothing works. Once I agree to the terms, etc, it just stops processing.

HT6154 Having SERIOUS problems with iOS 7.1 on my iPhone 4S!!!!
I am having SERIOUS problems here. Let me give you a rundown:
I have to reboot my phone (or turn it off and on again) to see the correct battery percentage (but I'll address that in a second), and once I reboot it or bring it back up again, it has to restart itself (in the middle of use) about 3 or 4 times before it stays on consistantly; all the while reading the percentage of battery it remembers from the last reboot. Now, about the battery percentage: I restarted it before I charged it last night and it read 16% -mind you, after it had to shut itself down and restart 3 times. I put it on the charger all night, and it still read 16%...but I decided to run a battery cycle (charge it all the way up, and drain it all the way down) to see if that would help. Sad to say, it did not help; infact it made things worse. It now flip-flops in between the Apple boot-up symbol and a black screen when plugged up to a charger or a computer. The computer cannot read the phone being plugged in so I cannot do a manual restore from iTunes.
Best yet, I upgraded to 7.1, and had the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS I AM HAVING NOW. I did a complete restore of my phone, and even set it up as a brand new iPhone, not even a restore from the last iCloud backup, and just loaded all my content from my Mac...and the problems decided to follow -even after the fresh restore.
I'm toying with the idea that it may be a hardware problem, but I would love to know if anyone is experiencing the same issue.
I have no idea what to do... please help.
I use my phone for business constantly, and almost cannot do my job without it.ok well seeing that your are having major issues with the battery and the loading screen it is a hardware issue. reseting it wont help that at all. what you need to do is take it to apple and let them look at it. They can tell you what is wrong with it and how much it would be to fix it ( if it is possible your situation is really bad) but if its not they might give you a discount if you give the iphone to them.

Having a problem downloading a pdf file onto sony reader.
Process:
I have the Reader connected to the computer.
I have downloaded the books form Waterstones which went into Adobe Digital Editions. There hasn't been a problem here.
I have opened the eBook Library, went to file, import files, my documents, Adobe Digital Editions and clicked on the book I want to put on the Reader. The book uploads into the eBook Library. I then Drag and drop the book on the Reader link on the left hand column. The status rotates as if the book is being transferred however I then have an error message reading:
'To transfer this ebook, you must first authorize the reader for Adobe DRM protected content. Do you want to authorize the reader now?'
I click yes.
I type in my Adobe Id and password as I am asked to do and click yes.
Another error occurs reading:
'Failed to authorize this PC to the eBook store.'
I can only click yes here which leaves me where I started.
If I go onto the Sony eBook store it doesn't show me the 'Register' link at the top of the page.
I had 7 ebooks on the reader since July so it was all working perfectly until 5/09/09 when i bought another 2 from Waterstones. When I tried to put them on it deleted the first 7. When I had the 2 new books on, the old 7 deleted and when I had the first 7 on the Reader it didn't allow me the 2 newer books I bought on 5/09/09. Now I can't get any of the books to transfer onto the Reader.
My sister is also experiencing the exact same problem as I am having. However when she downloads a free book from Sony, it transfers no problem, it just seems to happen with the ebooks we have paid for. She is using the software which was supplied with the product wereas I am using an updated version. Between the two of us, we have purchased 12 ebooks and can't get any of them to work on either Reader.
Can anyone help??Adobe aren't much help either. What you have to do is open a web case with the Adobe support team.
I've been waiting since 25/09/09 for them to reset my account which is what you have to do to get it working again.
I know this isn't much help but its a start.
Hopefully it works for both of us if they ever reset the account. -
How can I download ios 4.3 onto 3g iphone
When I go onto itunes I am told I have the mist up to date ios which us 4.2.1 However some apps like BBC I player require 4.3. Is there a way of getting 4.3 or even 5.0 onto my 3g iPhone?
4.2.1 is the end of the road for the iPhone 3G.

This is a common issue and a solution could have been quickly found by doing a search.
Disable any Anti-Virus and Firewall software on the computer, then run the update. -

“SUCCESS!!! I took my iPod to a friend who is a computer programmer/genius. He turned off his wireless, hooked the ethernet cable directly into his computer, and the download went through without a hitch. YAY!”
Here is my original post explaining what I had already tried:

It has the 2.1.2 ios on it, but after I paid for the upgrade to 3.1.1, I keep getting an error message (8288) saying there was a problem with the network connection. I have called customer service, and they suggested I try on a different computer, and if that didn't work, try connecting to a different network, and then trying the update. None of this has worked. It seems that tech support is clueless with this issue.
I have installed and unistalled iTunes 10.5, 10.3, 10.4, and now I am back with 10.5. I have tried looking up the issue from several search engines but no one seems to have a universal solution and I have tried several.
I really want to have this thing updated for himw hwne he opens it, but I am starting to worry that my purchase was a bust. I know this is the oldest version, but I don't want to buy a newer, more expensive iPod and him still not be mature enough to really take care of it. As I said, this one is a starter.
Can anyone help? Please?!

Having a problem downloading previously downloaded Apps to iTune 11.0.2 on a MacBook with OS 10.6.8 with Snow Leopard. Any suggestions?
The Mac App Store is for apps/programs for your Mac i.e. they are for Mac OS X - if you've bought/downloaded any apps from within that, and they are still in that store, then they should show in the Purchases tab within it.
The app store within iTunes is for apps for iPads, iPhones, iPod Touches i.e. they are iOS apps
If you want iPhoto for your Mac then the version within the Mac App Store is where you need to look - but the version that is in there needs OS X 10.7.5+, so that won't work with your version. You might be able to download it via this page (whether it will then install I don't know) : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1462 -

iphoto will not import my photos from my digital camera because it says it is having a problem downloading my photos. I'm using the same digital camera I have always had and have the current version of iphoto and am using snowleapord 10.6.8. Any thoughts?
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
