I am having a problen syncing my 80gb Ipod to my library. Its been syncing for over 24 hours. I have reset the Ipod and reinstalled Itunes. I am running windows 7 ,6gb of ram.Nothing seem to help

Managed to get my ipod restored to factory settings (yay!) However then it was being recognised in windows but not in itunes.......to solve this I referred back to Apples excellent troubleshooting guide. Installed the lastest version of itunes.....and there we go! We have a working ipod! I am so delighted and no longer on the verge of tears! (I so thought I had completely banjaxed my brand new ipod!)

I have a generation 3 ipod 80 gig. When I updated itunes to 11.1.11 and tried to sync the ipod it erased it and now wont recognize it. I can't seem to make this work I have reset the ipod, reloaded itunes all to no effect. Any ideas?
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
. I have 6th gen iPod nano. When I try to sync it my computer tells me it has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it. My iPhone syncs fine so the problem must be the iPod. I have reset the iPod several times and no luck. Any suggestions?

I get an error message when trying to email photos. It says "The email server didn't recognize your username/password combination." Yet I have reset my password and was able to log in to this Support Community. Can anybody help me?

I have an old iPod touch with songs from CD's I no longer have (so they weren't purchased on iTunes). The computer that the songs were synced on crashed a while ago. Is there a way I can sync my old iPod to my new computer and retrieve those songs to get them on my new iPhone? They share an Apple ID and iTuens account.

Purchase an external hard drive and use the backup software that comes with it to backup files from your computer.
Buy TouchCopy and install it on your new computer, connect your old iPod and transfer your songs to your computer. -
I am using a late 2008 macbook and have recently purchased a WD passport ultra 1TB drive to use as storage. I have successfully formatted the drive, and moved files from macbook onto it, however now I cannot locate the drive within FINDER, even though it is showing within disc utility. Please HELP!!!!

Open a Finder window, and your external drive should show up in the sidebar, under "Devices".
A different way is to go to Finder menu (in the menu bar) > Preferences > General, and tick "External disks". If your external drive is detected by OS X, it will show up at the top right corner of Desktop, so double-click it to access to the content. -
I have an IPHONE 5 with Verizon service. I never see "4G" or "LTE" come up on the phone. I have reset the network and have rebooted, to no success.
I live in the NYC metro area. I travel to Cape Cod and never see 4g on the phone.
Anyone have any hints or tips to fix this problemA Verizon iPhone will never display the 4G indicator. You will only see that on AT&T iPhones connected to their HSPA+ network. As for LTE, contact Verizon and make sure your account is provisioned properly.

My i-phone stopped receiving e-mail on a regular basis. Rather, it will sit and spin trying to load and then stop. Usually, sometime in the night, it will all of a sudden load all of my mail, but then will not load new mail again. I have updated and reset the phone and network, and the problem remains the same. Does anyone know a fix for this issue?
Try deleting the account, restarting your phone and then reinputting the account.

Since resetting the password have you logged out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it ?

Try a reset:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -

i can't recall what you've already tried, so let's start from scratch with troubleshooting this one.
the first thing that i check for when people report getting that message when they try to launch their itunes is a broken QuickTime.
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly, or do you get an error message?
if you get an error message, the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Itunes updated on my pc and laptop and now I cannot open the program on either one. Running Windows 7 on both. Error number 7 and R6034 continue to pop up. I have uninstalled (6 times) all of the Apple programs, rebooted, reinstalled, etc. as badgerfan1101 posted but cannot open it on either computer. I even did a restore to an earlier date with hopes that would solve the problem. Any other ideas? Been working on this for 4 hours

If you haven't already done these steps, this section contains information that might help your situation, as the order and manner which you uninstall has an effect on the outcome:
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.
