I am having an issue using OS X Mail for email via IMAP

Hi there. I am trying to use OS X Mail to set up email via IMAP for Business Catalyst email, but I am getting an error when trying to connect to the IMAP server on port 143. The Mail application connection doctor points to the incoming mail server as the problem. SMTP seems to connect just fine. I have also tried to connect via multiple ISPs and am getting the same issue. All of my setup information looks to be just fine. Any suggestions? I am using OS X 10.9.3.

I am having the same issue with Mac Mail — Version 7.3 (1878.6) running OS 10.9.4. All of the settings look correct with the correct ports, servers, and no SSL. I've not been able to find a solution elsewhere online.

How to read ZIP files(having PDFs,Image) using MQ Series link for R/3

1)Is it possible to transfer a zip file (having an image or pdf) using IDocs in SAP 4.6C using MQ Series link for R/?
Scenario: "MQ Series link for R/3" converts Business-Reports from a third-party software,into SAP IDocs.Each Business-Report contains one XML file and one ZIP file.
2)Being on ABAP side,do I have to worry about how the zip file would be converted into IDocs?

-If youre "always online," how long till your battery runs out of power? Mine is just 2 days tops!
-Have you experienced no sound alert when you receive emails via Blackberry/Mail for Exchange even though the Profile sound settings are appropriately set? What did you do to resolve?

You get 2 days???...impressive.
I'm always on from 7am-7pm and if I talk for anymore than 30 minutes during that day I've got charge the phone at 4pm so it will be usable for the night. It is 4 months old and I don't use anything else during the period (no blue tooth, no wifi).
As for the sound alert I get this too. At night when synch is every 30 minutes if I take the e-mail in outlook the phone will pick iot up at synch time and flash the light as a new e-mail, but play no sound.
It sometimes does the same during the always on period. It is not constant so I haven't looked into it much, but I've noticed once it recieves one without sound it won't play a sound again for new e-mails until I unlock the keys and enter MfE..another annoyance.

I am having an issue using my Iphone with Bluetooth in my car. If I am driving, and my wife uses her phone to access google and type in anything, it activates the phone feature, and "Talking" appears on our Navi screen. Can anyone help?

We are having trouble using our Iphone with the Bluetooth system in our 2012 Highlander. When I am driving and my wife, using her Iphone, uses Google and types in anything at all, letters of numbers, it activates the phone on our Navigation system and initiates a call. It goes away after a few seconds, but happens every time.
No problem pairing the phone with the car's bluetooth, and no problems making calls.
Just returned from our Toyota dealer, who had no answers.
Can anyone help on this?

This happens when I am driving, and my wife, using her Iphone, accesses Google.com. Once she is on the web site, and she types in her search, it activates the phone on the Navi system, and the screen on the navi system says "talking".
I have a Blackberry, and it is also paired with the car, but we make sure only my wife's Iphone is connected when the happens.

Issues using EPM Add- in for Excel

Hello everybody,
I have installed the EPM add-in for Excel 2010 in one of my client computers, but we're facing two different issues in this machine:
1. Everytime he opens Excel the EPM add-in is disabled so he has to activate it each time he wants to use BPC.
2. When he opens an activity from the BPF that is related to a Excel file it does nothing (this BPF works fine in other computers)
I don't know if both issues are related but any ideas of why this could be happenning and how to solve them are welcome.

Which version of excel are you using?
.net 3.5 or .net 4 version of epm add in?
maybe try the latest release, which is SP21 patch 1.

Having major issues with update 8.2 for my iPad 2. Can I undo upgrade?

JJust upgraded to 8.2 for my iPad 2. Huge problems! Slow, freezing pages. Cannot use my locaL public library web site. Keeps moving me out of web pages, etc. Can I undo this upgrade?

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

Having an issue with creating a partition for Windows 8?

Hey, all. I'm trying to make a partition for Windows 8, but now it's stuck on the "shrinking the disc" phase of the partition. It's been over two, and it's only about 25% through. It's been there for a good hour and a half. Should I let it sit through the night, or do a full reboot?

Likely you have already figured it out by now and this is just a guess.
I suspect that if the flash skin is linking to it's embedded assets (not embedded) or is using css (same difference) then the flash player is not able to access the assets from the context of the page in which it is being included. Check for problems with the way that the paths were defined to those assets.

Jdeveloper version 11.1.1.6 .
I have implemented this simple usecase which is not working. Create a VO in Model and expose it through AM . Now drag and drop ViewObject as SelectManyChoice.
Run the page...
It runs perfectly fine. When you select more than one value in selectManyChoice , they are shown in the inputField with a delimiter ";" [ semicolon ]. I have a requirement to change it to comma "," .
So there is a property delimiter in ListBinding in pageDef. I tried modifying that property to #{','} and page stopped loading.
How to specify your custom delimiter in SelectManyChoice component ?

So I assume this requirement then is for cosmetic reasons?
You are correct that requirement is for cosmetic change.
As far as I know changing the delimiter is not possible ( I checked the skinning docs and no resource String is provided).
So what is the delimiter property for ? .. is it there for future enhancement or does something.
Note that he actual value is returned as an array of index or object (dependent on how you implemented this)
My implementation is simple . I just drag and drop a VO as select many choice. And tried to place comma in delimiter property of the ListBinding created in pageDef.

I am using Mail for emails and I seem to have two different windows that switch between the two. The emails are the same but the second window opens when I click on any details and I cannot see the top of my screen with control icons for internet, file

I am not very tech savy and apologize in advance if my question is not clear. I use the Mail application on my mac and I have two users on my computer, one for gmail and another for my work email. All email addresses appear in the mail application on one page. When I open my email and click on a message it often goes to the other user screen and cuts off the top of my screen which shows the bar for Chrome, file, edit, view, history etc....Still functional but very annoying. How do I choose a user screen and stop having it switch back and forth.

SSL Cert used to sign Jars for distribution via WebStart

I have an SSL cert (Comodo InstallSSL) for my website and wondered if I can use it to sign jars so, when distributed via webstart, the old "untrusted source" message doesn't get displayed. I've been doing a lot of reading but, to be honest, I can't really find my bearings! I have imported the cert into my keystore but get the message when I try to sign a jar:
Certificate chain not found for: myalias myalias must reference a valid KeyStore key entry containing a private key and corresponding public key certificate chain.I have the following files in relation to my cert:
xxx.cabundle (this can be imported into keytool easily)
cert/xxx.crt (looks like a PGP file, cannot be imported (-import) into keytool)
private/xxx.key
My questions I suppose are:
1. Can I use a cert issued for SSL to sign jars for webstart distribution?
2. If yes to 1; what steps other than importing the cert alone (which generates the message above) do I need to do to achieve this?
Any help would be appreciated!

yes, the pkcs12 certificate includes the private key, as opposed to pb7 which does not.

Up until 2/28 I used Firefox and AOL for email but have not received any new email since that date and now use Safari.

Prior to 2/28, I was having intermittent problems sending emails which would then go into 'waiting to be sent' but eventually, they would go thru. Never experienced total mail delivery capability until 2/28.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
