I am having difficulty using the scroll effects

Hello I am starting a basic website for my art portfolio for university and want to add scrolling images that dissapear when the user scrolls down. I have done this but the images behind on small screens get cut off at the bottom so the title is missing from the bottom image.

Sorry took a while to reply with the discussions under maintenance. I figured out i had to pin the main content to the centre so that the gray slide would reveal the work beneath. Because of this, when i scroll down to the bottom of the page with a smaller screen, i am unable to scroll any further down to view the lower images and links. Its stuck within the menu and footer and will not allow scrolling within that space. I guess i need to remove the footing somehow but then the content scrolls up with the grey panel and isn't visible.

Why can't I use the scroll wheel in Photoshop CC 2014?

I have Photoshop CC 2014 on my laptop. It was working perfectly but then I had to reinstall Windows. Once I had reinstalled Windows and Photoshop I discovered that I could no longer use the scroll wheel on my mouse to move around documents in Photoshop. I can't scroll up to move the document up, scroll down to move the document down, use Alt+Scroll to zoom in/out or use Shift+Scroll to move left/right.
I've looked in the options and the option to use the scroll wheel to zoom is enabled - still not working.
Any ideas? Tried Googling but can't really find any solutions.

I'm having the same issue. Scroll wheel works fine in all Adobe products besides Photoshop. I've tried reinstalling Photoshop, plugging in the mouse to a different USB port, reinstalling the mouse driver, and restarting my computer multiple times. This bug makes Photoshop practically useless, as everything takes about twice as long to get done.
I really hope we get a fix for this soon. So far CC has been a huge disappointment, filled with small, productivity-destroying bugs like this one.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. My wife has a laptop and an iphone 4s, I have a laptop and and iphone 4s, our two sons have our old iphone 3s, we have an old laptop for our sons to use. Our old iphones for our sons are deactivated as phones - so they are used as i-touches for songs, pictures and aps. I want to use icloud (which I'm new to) to hopefully have all four iphones and all three computers stay synced with at least music - if not aps and pictures. My wife has an apple ID and I have one. I'd like to authorize all three laptops for both apple IDs so that we will still have our own accounts, but everything either of us buys will be automatically loaded into all three laptops and all four iphones. Can this be done?

Each person in your home can have their own Apple ID provided it is tied the their own separate email address.
iTunes permits up to five authorized computers connected to a single Apple ID: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
For this all to work well, however, each user in your household should have a separate user account on the computer they commonly use.

I'll start with the most basic qusetion if you have Spot selected from the dropdown in the Lighting Effects Properties.
There are also some presets under Presets including a Default Setting.

I can no longer scroll downward using the scroll ball.

For no reason I can identify, all of a sudden I have lost the capability to scroll in a downward direction when using the Scroll Ball (or whatever the thing is called). I can still scroll upward. I have set Systems Preferences >Keyboard and Mouse >Mouse Preferences >Scrolling Options to Vertical Only. The Scroll Ball is set to Off. I have restarted the computer after changing the preferences to no avail.
The same thing happens no matter what option I select in the Scrolling Options window, e.g., Vertical and Horizontal, Vertical Only, 360 Degree, etc. I can scroll upward only, not downward.
I can scroll both upward and downward using the Up and Down arrows on the keyboard, but only upward using the Scroll Ball. I can scroll in both directions when I put the cursor on the sliding bar at the side of the window, and when I click on the up or down arrows in the side bar.
How do I set up to restore the capability to scroll both upward and downward using the Scroll Ball?

I can't zoom in and out using the scroll wheel

so i want to zoom in and out on photoshop how i always have...using ctrl and scroll wheel...
but when i went to do it how i naturally do it, it didnt work..after some research i found you go into preferences, general and tick the box about zoom scroll or somthing.
Yet when i go onto it i dont have any options about zooming !!?? from what ive seen i have less options than others.
and im pretty sure it isnt only available on newer version..because i have done it before on really old photoshop versions.

Photoshop 7 doesn't have a preference for using Zoom With Scroll Wheel like cs2 and later do, but holding down the Alt key and using the scroll wheel should work
to zoom in or out.
Does the Alt key work if you make a selection and then use Alt+Ctrl+D to bring up the Feather dialog?
Does the scroll wheel work to change the layer blend modes by duplicating the layer and highlighting
the layer blend mode of Normal in the layers palette and then using the scroll wheel to change blend modes?

Why can't I scroll using the scroll wheel

Today (01/31) I installed my new computer (HP h9-1180 Phoenix). I'm connected to a home network with two computers (#1 new, #2 old, and laptop).
For some reason, no matter what mouse I use, I'm unable to scroll using the scroll wheel. If I want to scroll down a page, I have to use the scroll bar in the right margin.
Is this a problem with this model computer or is there a file missing somewhere?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How can I use the scroll wheel to move page by page

I have Adobe Acrobat 8 and I would like to be able to use the scroll wheel in my mouse to move page by page instead of the page icons in the tool bar. I recently had my computer updated from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I used to be able to do that in XP. I do a lot of moving around in documents and it's easier to move page by page if I don't have to be moving the cursor all the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to everything else (like Office 2007 Word) to move whole pages with the scroll wheel, just Acrobat.

Make sure that View - Page Display - Single Page View is selected in

I was wondering if it is possible to use the scroll wheel in list boxes? LABview (6i under windows 98) does support the use in diagrams, for instance on case statements, but it does not appear to do much on the front panel apart from scrolling the whole thing up and down (and when pointing on the vertical scroll bar left and right).
Is there a quick and easy way to get the scroll bar to work on list boxes, for instance by calling windows dll's? If so anyone ever done this?

Yes, it is possible. Anything is possible. LabVIEW is a programming language.
However, the scope and ease of implementation may be beyond the amount of work you want to do. This must be accomplished through Windows API. This means the use of windows dlls and or Active X.
Good luck.
Also, try looking for toolkits. Someone out there supposedly has a toolkit for doing this sort of thing.

You should have bought one with a larger SSD. You can regain some space by disabling the sleepimage file:
To disable safe sleep, run the two following commands in Terminal:
$ sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
$ sudo nvram "use-nvramrc?"=false
When done, restart your computer. Now go delete the file "/private/var/vm/sleepimage" to free up some hard drive space. When you put your computer to sleep it, should happen in under five seconds; my MacBook now goes to sleep in two seconds.
[robg adds: To state the obvious, with safe sleep disabled, a total power loss will wipe out whatever was open on your machine. To enable safe sleep mode again, repeat the above commands, but change hibernatemode 0 on the first line to hibernatemode 3, and =false to =true on the second line. You'll then need to reboot again. Personally, I prefer the safe sleep mode, even with the slower sleep time and hard drive consumption -- even if for no other reason than it's great when changing batteries on a flight.]

You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

Have you looked for the file in the location as suggested by the post above mine in the linked thread?
C:\Windows\System32\tp4table.dat
Or, if you have a Synaptics device, the file might be located in its installation folder, e.g:
C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\tp4table.dat
If/when you find it I think the syntax should be the same. Either way; you could just change it back if something goes wrong and knowing the file name/location will let you search the internet more effectivly as this is a likely cause.
