I am having difficulty with my tab order on a PDF Form.

The tab order per page works as expected but even though the tab order on the next page is set correctly when i tab from teh last data entry box on a previous page it doesnt then tab to the first tab in next page but somewhere in the middle of the next page? Perhaps related, I have taken a text box and made it larger so that I can use it as a comment field but when you tab to it. It brings you to the middle of the text box and not the upper right as I would exepect?

Close the file and reopen it and check the tab order again.
The second problem is probably because you didn't make the field multiline, which is an option on the Options tab.

What is a hard reset? There is nothing in any of Apple's documentation that refers to a hard reset.
There's a reset, a restart, and a restore.

Issue with setting Tab Order

In designer i create a form and set the tab order, when i preview the PDF the tab order works fine. But when i do a save as and save the form as a pdf document the tab order changes automatically. I even set the hirerarchy of the fields. Can some one suggest me a solution?

Can you post your form so I can have a look at it..
Steps to upload the document
1) goto acrobat.com website
2) login with your Adobe login/password.
3) In Actions you will find Upload. Select your form and upload.
4) After uploading, select form name in All Files section and right click and select share.
5) Check the checkbox "Allow anyone with a link to view this document".
6) Copy the URL link and post it in the forum.

Changing Tab order in a completed form without altering or moving fields here and there

Hi All,
I've made a complex questionairre and is almost complete. Now the problem is that when I converted this file from Word, many fields were automatically detected and their tab order/ numbering was set by Acrobat itself. The remaining fields in the form (at different places) were created by myself. Now in the tab ordering, the fields automatically detected have priority and the fields I created, are much different from the corresponding fields in tab numbering. For your understanding, I'm including the screenshot too. Please see the tab numbering in the image and after field # 7, there is field # 28, then field # 26, and then field # 29 which is not the way it should be.
Please advise any solution (if there is any) on your earliest convenience.

Have you opened the "Pages" navigation panel and looked at the options for the page?
There should be a series of options like "Row", "Column" or "Unspecified". Select the "Row" and see if the form tabs the way you would like.

Professional 7: How to turn off display of tab order numbers in a form?

When I open a PDF which has form fields, it displays each form field's tab order number. They appear as little boxed numbers in the upper left-hand side of each form field. Can anyone let me know how to turn off the display of these tab order numbers?

Having trouble manually setting tab order in Acrobat Pro 9x

I can change the order of all fields except for a group of radio buttons. Even when I drag the field name in the panel to the correct location in the list, it still maintains its original position in the order of fields and it's driving me nuts!! Is this specific to radio buttons or a generic bug in this version of Acrobat? Much appreciation in advance.

You're not doing anything wrong, it really sucks. But things are improved significantly with Acrobat 11. First, there's a preference setting that prevents the automatic reordering that can happen when fields are moved/edited. Second, you are able to select and move multiple fields at a time in the fields panel, which can speed things up considerably. It's still not as efficient as the old method, but at least it has finally been addressed. I think this feature alone is worth the upgrade price for the amount of time it will save and the beneficial effects on stress, blood pressure, and hair loss.

In Safari I am having issues with spam tabs opening up.

When I am in Safari and I click any links, new tabs open up constantly with MacKeeper or Clean Mac, etc. How can I stop this from happening? I am already blocking pop-ups in my Safari Preferences.
Also, I have noticed that Safari won't save my homepage preference, and instead resets to one of these super annoying non-search search engines as my homepage.

Having difficulty with BackToMyMac (BTMM)

Since updating my OS X to Yosemite, I've been having trouble using Back To My Mac and screen sharing.
Back to my Mac is enabled on all devices
For the sake of this discussion I'll try to simplify the issues I’m having.
I have:
an iMac27 - at home
a MacMini - at home
an iMac20 - at home
a Macbook Pro - mobile
Back to my Mac is enabled on all devices. All machines have the same user name defined on them and use the same password.
When I am home I’m pretty sure that all my devices can share all other device screens and can connect to each other.
When I am mobile with my Macbook Pro:
I see my iMac27 in my shared devices but cannot share its screen (the button does not appear)
I do not see either my MacMini or my iMac20 in my shared devices.
All machines are running Yosemite.
All of these devices were able to be connected to and I was able to share all device screens prior to Yosemite.
I have restarted every machine as well as my home network (Apple Airport Extreme).
Any ideas on what might be wrong or how to troubleshoot/reconfigure?

Is the Signature button (with the pen icon) the only one that is grayed out? Do you see the Lock icon in the bottom toolbar as well?
The Signature button is disabled when your PDF document does not allow modification or removal of any types of comments/annotations or form fields.
This is due to a limitation in Adobe Reader mobile products. You maybe able to use freehand drawing (if it does not have to be a signature) and change the color to black. It's the pencil icon next to the pen icon.
You should be able to add a handwritten signature to the PDF document using the desktop version of Adobe Reader XI (for a Windows or Mac computer) as long as the PDF document allows modification.

Anyone else having difficulty with Adobe Photoshop CC and Epson Stylus Photo R3000?

Everytime I try to print an image from Photoshop CC to my Epson Stylus Photo R3000, it can't seem to find the printer. I have no problem printing the same image from Lightroom 5 or Preview on Mac. The printer shows in the Photoshop Print Dialogue box but after I click Print the print queue just says searching for printer and can't find it. I can print a test page from the printer Utility and anything else I try, just not Photoshop CC. I'm running OSX 10.9 Mavericks. Thanks.

I stress that it all works OK until the application is built. Set cell value.vi was downloaded from this site. I am using Windows 98.
Any help would be appreciated.

Be sure you have your Excel activex controls properly registered in your system, there are lots of activex registerers in the web. If this does not work, look at set cell value vi and check for invalid refnums. If even this fails, i'd try reinstalling app builder, but be sure you install it before any LV update (for example 5.0.1f1) unless you want problems like i had with Excel built examples. You can also send an example, and see if i can fix it, but i don't have excel 2000 (only 97) so i don't know if i can do anything else.
