I am having issues with parts of my Facebook news page not showing and games not running.
For the last three days, I have been having issues running Facebook on Firefox. First, the side panels on the news page are not showing, which means I cannot connect to games like Farmville or Bejeweled Blitz. Those side panels were showing the previous two days, but when trying to connect, I had a message about the secure setting and I would get the message "you are no longer logged onto FB, connect to FB to play".
Try clearing cache and cookies. Next make sure your plug-ins are up to date. If both do not resolve you issue try [[Safe mode]]

Yes it is NOT your internet service. It is Apples OSX. It seems to be happening to older computers trying to run the newer OSX ( Mavericks and newer). I have a 2009 iMac I bought with Leopard installed, I upgraded to Snow leopard 10.6.8 and my computer was running flawlessly. I upgraded to Mountain Lion and I noticed my computer running slower... kind of annoying having to wait longer for everything (start up, browsers opening up, apps opening up, mail opening up and so on) Mavericks came out for free and I was excited to get out of this issue. Well, everything went from bad to terrible! Fast user switching had a glitch with desktop picture resetting to the wave, mail rules didn't work properly and I kept getting kicked off the internet (Absolutely NOTHING wrong with my internet). No one could figure out what was going on or how to fix it, even senior Apple tech's! After 3-4 months of searching, troubleshooting and waiting for a fix, I looked at my Mac Pro running Tiger 10.4.11 with no issues what so ever... that is when I made an executive decision. GO BACK TO SNOW LEOPARD! Since May 2014 I have been running 10.6.8 on my 2009 iMac and it has been smoking fast with NO issues what so ever, especially since I maxed out my memory for Mavericks. So to sum it up: some people might get lucky with old machines running new operating systems, but for the most part, it seems older processors can't keep up with the new sophisticated operating systems. I seem to be having a lot of connectivity issues my iPad. It takes a long time to load and sometimes will not load a page at all. I seem to be having issues with streaming in that it will play a song and just stop. It seems I have to turn it completely off and restart.

Is anyone else having issues with the most recent Facebook app update? I updated it on my iPad 2 yesterday, now it will not open app at all. I have restarted iPad, uninstalled app and reinstalled, several times and still it will not work! Any suggestions? I have also closed the append still no results!
I just started having this yesterday. It's only happened twice, but it's annoying. My wife texted me that she was coming home last night, and it showed up immediately on my iPod Touch but not my iPhone. I opened my iPhone and it soon updated. Worked fine after that. Then just a moment ago today my wife texted me and the same thing happened. I heard my iMac and iPod Touch receive the message but it didn't display on my phone until I opened the phone and it showed up again a little bit thereafter. I suppose I'll send Apple some feedback on this issue.

Since the previous computer crashed without my Adobe CS3 Design Standard for Macintosh applications being uninstalled, I'm having issues with the CS3 on my new Macintosh laptop. Please help, I've tried using the online "contact us" with no success, unable to get in contact with a tech support agent that can assist me.
CS3 is too old to run on a new Macintosh laptop, sorry. You'll have to purchase CS6 or a Creative Cloud subscription.

Having issues with phone calls on my new phone. Other user is hearing echoes or nothing at all. This seems to be a common issue on here. VERY annoying! Anything seem to fix this problem?
I had similar issues - Turns out it was a hardware problem or bad antennae - Call the tech support number and they can do some testing to determine the issue. They might be able to give you a replacement if you do it quickly.

I am having issues with 360 degree rotation, I have an iPhone 5 and ios 6.0.2. I have read alot about this issue online and I found out that my issue is software. I want to know if and when apple will fix this issue?
I had the same experience with a new iPhone 5 that I bought last week. Did not have a chance to measure battery life before the 6.0.2 upgrade installed but I set up my phone exactly like my 4S and immediately started running out of power after short periods. Went to Xmas get together with fully charged 5 and 4S. Heading home the iPhone 5 shut down for low battery and the 4S had 65% power. Both phones had two half phone calls on then and no data usage.
That night I fully charged the iPhone 5 and, without lighting it up, put it on my night table. Next morning I picked it up and looked at battery indicator and I had 42% charge with NO activity!
Tried it again next night and wound up with 37% charge. (Slept longer).
Today I called the carrier and reactivated the 4S. Took the 5 to Apple Store and they kindly gave me choice of new replacement phone or refund. I took the refund. Uniquely, the Apple Store said it was Verizon CDMA phones that were coming back.
The are other strings on this with temporary solutions, but from my experience with 7 firmware changes on an HTC 4G phone the problem will continue because the solution will be hardware caused. We are in the days where RTM means Rush to Market - not Release To Manufacturing.
I fear the only solution is to either wait for the next model (I did not notice a really major change in performance over the 4S in LTE heavy Seattle area) - or switch to another manufacturer.
It might be useful for these forums to indicate if you have a GSM or CDMA phone to see which have more problems.

I m having problems with my iPad 2 gestures. The screen enlarges and will not respond to my attempts to restore it. Is anyone else having this problem? What is causing it and what helps to restore normalcy?
Try double-tapping the screen with 3 fingers and see if that zooms it back out - and if it does set Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom 'off'. If it doesn't zoom you back then try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.

I am still having issues with the TOC pictures. I got several chapter/section photos to show up, but can't seem to repeat this success. It is some mystery that happened during a time that I had practically given up. This should be such a simple thing. Drag and place a picture into the placeholder and it shows up in the TOC....right? Help, help help! want to get this thing done and it's taken two days of work just get some of the photos to show up. I am going to have to publish this ibook with no photos in several sections.....why can't this be simple? I have even had someone else spend hours trying to figure this out. This software is such a GREAT idea....come on...help with this little part of it.
I had the same problem myself. I got to the point where I couldn't replace the photo, of a new chapter, in the TOC. What I did was to duplicate an existing chapter that was working and was able to replace it's TOC's photo. I also found that if you try different areas of the photo you can sometimes get it to replace correctly. For example, instead of dragging the new photo to the middle of an existing photo, try dragging it to the right top corner.

I'm having issues with text layers in photoshop. They aren't visible. I've checked font size, alignment, layer order and color. And the layer list shows that it's there. All seems well but I still can't see the text that I write. Need help trouble shooting. (I asked this question about a month ago but I got sidetracked and never circled back.) Thanks.

I've had no success troubleshooting the problem I'm having with my iPad Air. Started after I updated the software to the new version . Once update was complete I encountered my screen looked funny with wiggly lines and then the screen turned blue. I tried to reboot it by holding down the home and the off at the same time but that only turned it off and then back on and the same thing happened all over again. Now my iPad air only continues to reboot when I turn it on. Is it possible for Apple or Mac products to get a virus? I'm hope someone has a solution to this problem I'd like to know if there's anyone else out there that's experiencing this issue with the iPad Air.This is not a virus. It sounds like it could be a hardware problem.
First, try resetting your device. Press and hold both the home button and the sleep/wake button for about 10 seconds, until the screen turns off. Ignore the slider that will appear. Release the buttons, then press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears. This is the equivalent of a reboot, and should not affect your data or apps.
If that doesn't help, try restoring your device from backups, and if that doesn't help, restore it to factory settings (ie, do not restore a backup). See:

If none of that helps, the issue is caused by some kind of hardware problem, and the device will need to be repaired or (more likely) replaced. -
Why does CS6 keep having issues with QT32 Server?? Im on a MAC and cannot uninstall QuickTime...
This is not the first time that CS6 has had issues with the QT32 Server.
When opening PP, it stalls on ExporterQuicktimehost.bundle, same for AE and Encoder.
How can i get rid of this issue!!!!No i don't. It seems to be connected with all the QT and h.264 codecs. But i need those codecs for my work...

Having issues with created PDFs requiring Japanese language font pack when they should not
Last week, I created 3 forms for someone. They wanted a fourth, so I put that together today, but halfway through making it, my Livecycle crashed and refused to load up again (I have NO idea why...), so I reinstalled it. I went on to finish making the form, but for some reason, even though the language settings is set to English and not viewer's default locale, the form requires a Japanese font pack. My computer is set to Japanese locale, but with the default language set to English, it should bypass this. The oddest thing is that one of the 3 forms that I already created and sent to them (and worked fine!!!), now also asks me for Japanese language font packs. What the heck is going on?
The forms use nothing other than Myriad Pro, which is set to be embedded. My Acrobat opens them all just fine and shows font properties correctly, but my Reader dies and asks for Japanese font packs. Please help, thank you!

My own computer (Windows 7, format/location set to English/US, default non-Unicode language Japanese, System Locale Japan) - pops up error in Reader X, but not Acrobat Pro X
These 3 computers are all set to complete English/US and do not have Acrobat:
The recipient's computer (not sure what OS, likely Reader X, no other languages installed) - popped up the error asking for Japanese fonts
My mother's computer (XP, Reader 9, I know it has Chinese installed, but I don't think it has Japanese) - no errors
My brother's computer (Vista, Reader 9, no other languages installed) - popped up the Japanese font error
And just for fun I tried on the HP Touchpad (Reader 10.3), but it just gives that error that it can't display the contents of the pdf. I think the WebOS port of Reader either is horribly incomplete somehow, or otherwise I have no idea.

As noted a month ago I called apple to fix my iTunes account. Now when I buy songs or music I cant watch, listen, or even download them onto my computer. It keeps giving me this pop-up when I try.
"This computer is already associated with an Apple ID."
"You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 52 days."
I know this computer is associated with an Apple ID, because it's mine, so why can't I watch, listen or download them onto my computer?
They had me reset alot of crap when I called them, so if anyone knows how to possibly fix this before I call Apple and freak out, please tell me!
