Adobe applications do not have password access. It is most likely your Mac security requieing you to grant permission - use your Mac password.

i pressed the download button next to my order and it brought me to a page where i had to install the installer, which i did and i ran it. then i went back to the recent order page and pressed download and it brought me back to the page to download the installer. how do i get out of this loup?

I am having problems install Photoshop elements 8.0 and premiere elements 8.0

I have recently received both photoshop elements 8.0 and premiere elements 8.0 and neither will install.
I have gone through (at length!) all the support suggestions e.g. adusting accelaration etc. Absolutley nothing works! I have spent over 4 hours trying to sort this problem which as it is a new product is extemely disappointing. I look for any helpful advice or should I just claim my money back?

I tried downloading the trial version which seems to have gone through. However although i can see lots of new files in a "Premier elements" folder in programs, I cannot see any way to open it. It has not appeared on the programs list and there is no shortcut on the desktop. How am I supposed to access this software?
If this is a trial, you really should make it more user friendly as I am not impressed at all so far.
I have spent over 6 housr now trying to get this sofware to work. If you cannot nwo get this to work, i will return to store and get refund (and use a version of Pinnacle recommended by a friend who has had no problems!
I look forward to an easy and quick resolution.
P.S I note your on line chat is useless as it is only available to USA residents.

How can I download photoshop - I am getting error message 1935 right at the end of the download and then it reverses all download actions and leaves file empty with no access to the program? I have tried several times and using both methods of download shown against my order on the Adobe website?
It appears to relate to an assembly component.

entered the redemption code on adobe website, and then received the Serial Number for photoshop elements 11
then clicked on the download file, which sent me to Arvato link for zip file
downloaded the zip file, but it then will not open, so can't complete the download.
what hapened to buying software on Discs !!
i've now wasted 2 hours trying to sort this out, so would greatly appreciate some advice

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

Having Problem Reinstalling Photoshop Elements 6.0.

When I was upgrading my computer to Windows 8, my friend recommended that I copy over all my files to a backup USB memory stick. When I did upgrade my computer to Windows 8, most of my files ended up being wiped off for some reason. I've managed to reinstall most of my files. However, I have no idea how to reinstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 from the files that are saved on my USB. Is there anyway that I can do this? I don't really want to have to buy a new version of Adobe Photoshop Elements as I only ever really use it for editing.

Unfortunately you need to have installation files to install the software on a different machine. There is no download available for Elements 6, so if you do not have a disc version then you won't have much choice but to upgrade to a new version.

Still do not understand what exactly I have to do to Download ( Install failed ????) Photoshop Elements Trial 11. Does this mean unles I fix it asap I will "lose" some/all of the free 30 days ? I tried in the past to trial Photoshop Elements 10 and just gave up.
I am very interested in upgrading from 9 as I have not found it an "improvement" on earlier version I had.
In fact, it has proved quite hard to see etc being so small and all so dark. Not an improvement.
Also very quick to freeze and crash my laptop.

Branched this out to a new discussion. Do you receive any error messages when you are installing the software? Downloading is the process of obtaining the install files. Installing is the process of getting the software on your computer.

Where did you buy it? From Adobe? You can just download the trial and enter your serial number.

I was told my a chat rep to uninstall Elements 12 because it was not working correctly and to reinstall. I have been trying to do this and I run into a dead end. I can explain more if someone answers.

I'm having problems activating Photoshop Elements 12, with the internet. What can I do?

I've already installed the Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. I open the program, than I open the "Editor menu" and the the program ask me to sign in. I've already an Adobe Account, but the program tells me that I'm not connected to the internet, but I am. I'm using the browser and all works.
What can I do?

I purchased the Creative plan, which says it includes Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5. From the creative cloud desktop platform, I successfully downloaded Lightroom, but when I go to download Photoshop, it just sits at 0%. When I go to Adobe's website, it acts like I have to purchase Photoshop, but my account says it is included in the package I purchased. Help!

Problems downloading Photoshop Elements 9 software to my new computer using Windows 8

Can someone please assist me in getting my software to work on my new computer.
I have installed the disc...... almost at the end of installation the computer froze and eventually after a couple of hours, I removed the disc and interupted the installation. I switched the computer off and restarted. I then tried to uninstall.... but then was prompted to put the disc back in to unistall, but the program looked like it was trying to install again!
Eventually after waiting for about half an hour, nothing was happening and i have given up. I just want to use my software!
i then went into the Control Panel>All control panel Items>troubleshooting> selected> system and security> fix problems with windows update - now I can actually open the photoshop version.... but when I trying to do something to the photo, an error appeared and shut down the photoshop!
Basically can I use this software with my new windows 8 computer? If not is it possible to download and pay for an upgraded version so I can use with Windows 8?
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Having problems downloading Photoshop/Lightroom to Windows Vista.

I purchased a monthly subscription to Photoshop/Lightroom. When I clicked on the blue Download box it gave me an error message stating "Running an operating system that photoshop no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements below for a full list of supported platforms".
It lists only Windows 7 and 8 as supported operating systems.
I am running Windows Vista. Is there a way to download the apps to Windows Vista? My system has all the other requirements; AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor and 320 GB hard drive.

Vstar4me2 I am very sorry but you will need to upgrade to Windows 7 or later to use Photoshop CC and Photoshop Lightroom 5.
