I am having problems installing adobe photoshop cs5 extended

Hi,
When I install this version of photoshop, I type in the serial number which allows me to install the program, then once installed it asks for another serial number in which I type the same number in only to be told it is an invalid serial number.
I was wondering if anyone is able to help me figure this problem out.

You've bought an upgrade version and you've entered your upgrade serial number.
The second serial number requested is one from an earlier version of Photoshop which made you eligible to buy the upgrade.
If you don't have an earlier version serial number then you've bought the wrong version. You need to return the upgrade version and buy the full version.

The problem is right at the end of installation, it (the Install Shield Wizard) says status is registering and then immediately does an action rollback.
The message I get is:
'The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run the installation again.'

I am having problems installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 11

I am trying to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 11.
The first error message comes up saying "The installation process has encountered an error while installing Shared technologies. Please restart your system and try again."
I have tried restarting and still didn't work.
It prompts me to download Adobe support advisor which I did and it has an error message to download Adobe Applications manager.
The Adobe applications manager will also not install.
Please help me install my photoshop program.

Well now the forum finally working like it should. I was always logged in, I saw my name at the top. However, when I clicked on the link Log / Registration, came forward error 404th I waited one hour without logging off and re-clicked. Finally, the forum in my browser started to work normally.
There is no problem that would not be able to send files to the server from which it can take you. The problem is that my /Library/Logs/Adobe/ folder is empty. How is it that the folder is empty? I have installed Adobe Design Premium CS5 too, although tryal version has expired. And even these files can not look in the folder. PSE8 but I can not even until the end of Installations.
So I tried to send Screnshot to you to see that the folder is empty. I know that you need a file, but how do I send it to you, if the file is not in the folder?
Maybe I have the settings set to not see certain files?
I called the support in my country, but only help those who have bought the program in their company. :-(((

Hi,
Just wanted to know if there are any problems installing Adobe Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit?
Planning to purchase a laptop that comes with the OEM license and plan to use 64-bit OS to maximize the 8GB RAM of memory. Just afraid if there are known issues for this type of installations.

On the contrary, subject to the image(s) being edited, Photoshop will thrive in a 64 bit Win 7 machine given the right tweaks.

Be aware that two versions of Photoshop will be installed 32 bit and 64 bit. The 32 bit is there for legacy reasons with some plugins e.g. TWAIN scanner

Im having problems installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
The problem is right at the end of installation, it says status is registering and then immediately does an action rollback.
The message "The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again."
I have also created a new administrator account and after rebooting tried to install it but with the same result. It appears to get to the end of the program install but falls over just before the Organiser install. There are no error messages. AV and surplus programs have been stopped. Desktop clean up run. XP machine well within required spec.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried installing Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended from the CD on Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 but installer kept unexpectedly quitting. Has anyone else experienced this as well, if so how did you fix it? Thanks!

I uninstall Adobe Photoshop cs5 extended and install again but when I try to open this program it shows me " The application failed to initialize properly(0xc000001d.) how can iI sort this problem could anybody help me ?

Trash the PS preferences and try again. Hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift while the program starts. Also remove any third-party plug-ins and extensions that may cause conflicts.

Can you Install Adobe Photoshop CS5 on Win 8 with no disc.

I recently acquired a HP ENVY Touchsmart 15 Notebook PC, which comes with Windows 8. I am currently attempting to transfer my programs from my old computer (which was Windows 7) to my new computer, which includes re-installing Adobe Photoshop CS5.
However, as this computer that I currently have doesn't have a CD drive (I was not aware of this as it was a gift), I am unable to put in the CS5 installation CD. I still have all of my licensing information, though. So, that leaves me with the following questions: Is it possible to install CS5 without a disc? And if so, does Windows 8 even support CS5?

I just bought the adobe photoshop CS5 extended student version which cost me awfull much money.
After installing it, I am not able to insert letters into the activation box, only numbers appear. The result is that I am unable to activate the program...
Very f*cked up for my deadline of the school project. Does anywone knows why I am unable to insert letters into the activation box and how I can insert them so the program is activated?
I am running an asus intel computer with wondows 7 on it.
