I am having problems installing firefox

I think internet explorer is blocking the downloading of firefox. Is there another way to download it?

What happens when you try to download it?
If Internet Explorer has been set to block download of executable files, you can reset IE settings, for details see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

Thank you guig2! Followed your bleepingcomputer.com link above and found the problem was my permissions on C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local/Temp. It was not "Full Control" for my User or Administrator. Updated the two lines to permit full control for folder, subfolder and files. Ran perfect.

Problems installing Firefox on Wondows 7

I'm having problems installing Firefox 6.0 on my Windows 7, x64 machine. I've used previous versions of Firefox on this computer with no problem.
When I run the installer it prompts me to enter in the Administrator password to install this program. I am the only user on this machine, and my account is listed in Windows as the Admin account. When I enter in the username and password, the window goes away, but nothing happens after that.
I'm not sure why this is popping up to begin with, since I'm the only user and I'm the Admin, but any ideas how to get around this? I've been using Firefox since it was called Phoenix and I really want to stay up to date.

I'm thinking about bying a laptop which has windows 7 already installed (I think home edition), but googling I found various topics of people having trouble getting cs3 master collection to work (programs of master collection not being installed, error messages about missing windows files etc, etc.). Which version of windows 7 should I have to make cs3/cs4 work? Or should I be able to install cs3/4 on any windows 7 computer without any problems? Or should I do anything specific before installing?
I'm a little worried that I won't be able to use cs3 (which I much rather use than cs4) when I buy a new computer with windows 7.

I want to remove an add on becauase I've been having problems with FIrefox locking up since I installed. How the heck does one remove an add-on. I hate to be stupid but I cannot figure out how to uninstall an add on

I've been having problems with Firefox 4.0 locking up pretty much since I installed it. I did add a few add-ons and all I can think of to do is to remove them. I can't figure out how to get rid of them.

Well, When I click on Add-ons I don't get a list of add-ons. AN Add-ons tab opens which shows lots of other great add-ons but I can't get a list os ones that I've installed and have no option to remove. I'm on version 4.0. Maybe the "remove" as described is for an earlier version?

The latest flash player release is 11,0,1,152.
Can you upgrade to this version and see whether the crash stil exists?

Repair your Apple Sofyware update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install

I'm having problems installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 12.
The problem is right at the end of installation, it (the Install Shield Wizard) says status is registering and then immediately does an action rollback.
The message I get is:
'The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run the installation again.'
If anyone can offer some help, please, that would be great.

Hi, the problem is that my IT department was sent a link on his laptop to install Illustrator, however the request was for them to build me a workstation and install it on there. they have built the workstation and is having problem installing the CC desktop app on there, just to clarify would you be able to answer the following:
1) Do you have to have CC desktop app to install Illustrator from the given link?
2) If you have signed up & installed CC on your laptop, can you install illustrator on a workstation by simply installing the CC desktop app on the workstation, log into that with your username & activate the link to install illustrator, basically the provided link should not be specific to a computer or user?

Try below steps
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go ( make sure to opeb ~/Library not /Library, there will two library )
Then open Application Support
Right click on Adobe folder
Click on get info
Under sharing and permission click on lock icon and unlock it
Click on symbol and Add Administrator and your current user name ( if not added )
Then give read and write permission to user name, admin, system and every one
Then click on Gear icon and select 'Apply to Enclosed
Click on lock icon
Try to install Creative Cloud App.
