I am having problems transfering JPEP photos from my computer to my new IPOD4 Touch.

Please provide more information such as:
- what is format and file size of the photos and how were they produced?
- How are you trying to "move" to your iPod?
- What happens when you try to "move" them? Error messages or what?

Solution for me was changing the "Load Remote Images" setting, shutting down and restarting the phone. The old messages with problems reloaded with all attachments accessible.
Background: I began having this problem recently with PDF, jpeg,vcf files and apparently now, all attachments as well as email with html links are coming through with no attachment or as empty email. This was a new problem for me. I have been backing up to the cloud, but not using a cloud email account. I have multiple accounts on the phone, six of them actually and have been set up this way for over a year without problem. Some are imap, some pop, none are through exchange.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
(Assuming that the QuickTime and Safari messages were also citing bonjour64.msi, you should also then be good to go with those installs too.)

Here's the problems I'm having with iPad 2 and iOS 5.1:
Okay ... so, because I had less than a 1 Gig left (as reported by iTunes) on my 64Gig iPad, and the majority of the space was being used by "Photos" ... I decided to not keep my PC photos directory in sync with my iPad (Windows 7). So, in iTunes, I unchecked the option to sync computer photos to the iPad. I got the standard popup warning message that my iPad would not contain those albums after the next sync. I clicked OK and proceeded to sync expecting to have lots of space freed up.
But weird things happened after syncing.
(1) I still have all my photos on my iPad .... nothing disappeared at all. (And performed multiple syncs to try to force the change ... still nothing has been removed from my iPad.)
(2) Somehow, I gained 20 Gigs of free space, as reported by both iTunes and my iPad as well.
Anyone know what's going on here?
I do have iMovie and another movie making app, Avid. Both of these contain projects that refer to photos in albums that were supposed to be removed after the sync ... but I can't imagine that would keep them there. Anyone have any ideas?
I also installed the iPad app, iPhoto. I noticed that it build a directory listing and continuously want to update that listing from time to time.
Would any of these things cause the iTunes photo sync changes to be ignored? And, how did I get free space to report back with an additional 19Gig or so, when there's no change at all.

I´m having problems with my wifi an my new Macbook pro. It doesn´t remember the network so every time I log on - I have to "join a network". I have "ticked" the "remember password" box. I´m connecting to a wireless network on an regular Speedtouch router at home. I´m new to Mackintosh.

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

Having problems opening a photo in camera raw for editing

Has anyone had problems getting a photo to open in camera raw for editing?
I open a photo and go to edit, then click on full edit, then go to file and click on open as. I then go to the pop-up menu and click on camera raw.
When I click on open, the photo should open in camera raw so I can edit it but nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? This progrem has little value if I cant edit my photos. Thanks for your imput.

Check your plug-in is up to date for your Camera and model. The latest Adobe CAMERA RAW PLUG-IN IS 6.3 (for PSE9)
Open Full Edit and click Help >>About Plug-in >>Camera Raw
Otherwise click Help >>Updates and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Having problems transferring music from my pc

I bought an ipad 3 last week and seem to be having difficulties transferring music from my pc. Do I click import, this seem to work but only transferred 2 1/2 albums & podcasts.

Tried a disk clean up and even upgraded the firmware on my player.
Now in nomad explorer the music files do not even show up while the data library still take ages to load and I still cant transfer anything from it as it tells it cannot read from jukebox device.
Tried deleting some files to see what would happen ? the file says it has been deleted but when I disconnected and looked in library again the file was still there.
I forgot to mention in my first post that I was able to transfer everything off my Zen onto pc but I had to remaster my computer and as such lost all files and since then I cant transfer off the Zen - not sure if that matters but thought I should mention it
Can?t really test at friends? computer because even if I could and it worked I have 25 GB of files that need to be transferred which doesn?t make it feasible to transfer all onto a friend?s computer
Any help is grateful as I need to back up my music files in case my Zen breaks down (I am on my third Zen in 4 months as the first two were defecti've)

Having problems installing PE 2.0 on new hard drive

I'm having problems as I stated. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and had PE 2.0 on the last hard drive. This is a new hard drive, the welcome screen appears, I get the accept license screen and then the installation screen. As soon as I click install Photoshop Elements 2.0, the DVD-ROM drive spins down and stops. I tried using compatibility mode with no success either. I know there are more P E's out there. I own PE 12 too and I want to put 2.0 on the drive for simple things before putting on PE 12.
Any help would be appreciated!

How big is your new hard drive?
If it's not over 1 TB, then try copying the contents of the cd to to your hard drive and then in the Adobe Photoshop Elements folder, right click
on the Setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator
Also, turn off the real time scanning for your virus scanner before installing, just make sure your disconnected from the
internet and don't forget to turn your your virus scanning back on after installing pse 2.

You're post is not very clear. Are you asking if other people have difficulty viewing their iPads in bright sunlight? Yes, everyone does. The type of screen the iPad has doesn't work well in bright sunlight. If you're wearing polarized sunglasses and can't see anything on the screen, try rotating it to landscape.
If you're asking something else, please explain.

Problems moving edited photos onto a new document.

I am new to Photoshop CS3 extended and i am having problems moving an edited photograph to a new document for printing. I get a screen stating 'The target document has a different depth than the source document. This may result in lower than expected quality. Are you sure you want to proceed' If i say yes nothing happens,
if i try to print from the edited photograph without moving it onto a new document it doesnt fit onto an A4 paper and comes up with 'Specifit print settings (Interpolation, Calibration,Encoding) will be ignored since you are printing to a non post-script printer.
This has just started to become a problem I have not changed printer which is a printer/scanner/copy Lexmark 4550 please help

Sounds like you are trying to make a move a 16bit image into an 8 bit image. besure to convert it before you transfer.

Problem transferring ITunes from old to new PC

Old XP pc had 7000+ tracks in ITunes. Started having problems so bought new Vista pc. Got ITunes 8 loaded onto new pc and started to copy existing ITunes info onto my portable hard drive. However, at approximately every 400 or so tracks the transfer ran into problems, probably due to limitations of old pc, so I had to transfer all the music files in stages. Got the whole lot into the Music>ITunes folders and looked ok. The library opened in ITunes and in the music folder, I can play any track. Unfortunately, when in ITunes, if I select a track and click play I get an error message along the line of "cannot play the track as cannot find the original file" it then gives you the option to manually search for it.I could do that for a few files, but not 7000. I can't get it to play any of the tracks. Any ideas??? Support not any help.

It doesn't sound right for the files on my PC, I am quite OCD about having file names I can find and making sure the MP3 tags are good. ; )
If that's how it was on your old PC, it does sound right -
It might just be easiest to start over with a blank library. Do a ctl-A and select all the tracks, then press delete, If you get a message about sending them to the recycle bin, for god's sake say NO. You shouldn't get that message anyway, since itunes can't find the files.
Assign your portable drive a letter way down in the alphabet like M: for music.

Set your ituens preferences > advanced tab > itunes music folder location to
M:Music or whatever your top-level music folder is named.
Now drag that top-level folder from Windows Explorer over into yoru blank itunes library list. It should add everything.
An alternate way to do it is File > Add Folder.
