I am having problems uploading via desktop to CC

I am unable to upload anything via my desktop to Creative Cloud. Uploading via the web interface from my local machine is working, however, and appears on my desktop.
I am using a Mac (10.9.4) and on Creative Cloud (1.81.451).

You said, "the 4 also has signal and wifi whereas the 5 has only wifi". By "signal", I'm assuing that you mean cellular signal. If so, that means your iPhone 4 is still active on your cellular number and your iPhone 5 is not. Contact your carrier to sort out which phone is active on your account.

Problems uploading via FTP-host

I have very often (most of the time actually) problems uploading a website via the FTP-host. Changes I made are often not uploaded etc. Is this a common problem or am I the only one?

Please provide more details as what exactly is not updating while ftp upload process , is it any text , image etc ? does this happens with a specific page or any page ? The changes should get update once you upload the files to same location , unless there is any sync issue with server.

Uploading to where?
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.

Maybe your host did something on the remote server side. Have you contacted them?
Do you have enough available server space?
Can you upload files with a 3rd party FTP client like Filezilla?

Am having a problem with doing this but if I use Windows Explorer (which I'd rather not use) there is not a problem.

I have same problem, when i try to upload any image using Firefox 4.0, and browse the image to upload, it shown a transparent mask to flash application with hand cursor mouse pointer . now again i need to click anywhere is screen to activate flash controls and then i need to click again to upload. Having problems uploading an album to create a book. iPhoto will compile the data, but fails to upload. Error message allows a "Retry", but its a dead end. (iPhoto 11)

I can't get iPhoto 11 to accept my album to create a book. Compiles OK, but bombs out when uploading. I have tried Safe Mode and eliminating Energy Saver. I have pulled out the Preference file and re-inserted after logging back in, but nothing seems to work. This problem seems pretty prevalent, since it keeps coming up in discussion groups. I had the same problem with iPhoto 6, and hoped that it would have been cured by now, but apparently not. I guess Apple likes to collect $49 from each caller to give out the proper solution. Help!

OK - so I have tried deleting my iPhoto preferences, repairing my keychain, rebuilding my iPhoto library, uninstalling Safari Beta 4 and I still can't get this one photo album (that has 140 videos) to upload properly to MobileMe. I left it to upload when I went to bed and when I woke up, I saw that my iPhoto quit itself yet again. So again, if there was an error message, I missed it. Before I left for work, I started an upload of an album of just photos to see if that works, thinking that perhaps there's a video in the other album that iPhoto is getting stuck on. If that works, I suppose I could try uploading the videos one at a time, right? Just keep adding them to the Gallery till something fails? If I find that the album of photos failed, then I think my only choice will be to pay $49 for AppleCare's assistance. I love how one solution they already gave me (for free) is to purchase a new laptop. Yeah, that would solve it! LOL

Having problem uploading files with file manager

When i use file manager and try to select a file from desktop then desktop disappears quickly so you can't even select the file you want. I'm using firefox 25 and i thought it was that so i deleted firefox and reinstalled firefaox and get the same problem.
It tried with safari and it works ok. Any ideas on how to fix this? Its really annoying.

Well, since you didn't mention exactly what the problem is, I have to assume you have not set up your website definition properties correctly. There are plenty of good step by step instructions in the help files for setting up your website definition.

I'm having problems uploading files (to YouTube & SendSpace) with Firefox. Both work fine using IE. Any idea what the problem could be?

When I try to upload to YouTube, things appear to be working, but every time it either ends up telling me the upload has been interrupted or it shows that the upload finished & then the file is nowhere to be found in my account. When I switched to IE, the upload worked fine the first time. When I tried to upload to SendSpace, I "browsed" for a file to upload, selected the file, & then nothing happened at all. Again, when I switched to IE, the upload worked just fine. I imagine there is some setting in Firefox that I need to change, but I have no idea what it is & can't figure it out by looking through the menus I see. I need some help!

Jean, Thanks for your answer, I've tried checking the invoke node that calls the "Run VI" method but it doesnt return an error any of the times its called even that the Vi that it called is still running. I also tried your solution of changing the object's "Run" method to a template but that doesnt work either. Problems uploading via FTP

For some reason the banner for my site won't show on the live
page and when I view source it shows that it is located on my PC
and hasn't been uploaded. However on Dreamweaver the HTML is
correct and it is visible in the FTP files, so I'm not sure where
it's all going wrong...Could someone possibly explain to me the
steps I need to take to make sure an image and indeed a page itself
are uploaded properly onto FTP with DW8??

Would the name of this image have the word banner in it? Do
you run
Nortons' on your pc?
If so, then it may be being stripped due to Nortons'
blocking.
Do you see the the image name on the Remote site? If so, then
it has been
uploaded, but the above could be happening.
Can you post a link to you page, so that people can confirm
whether the
image is actually there... or if there could be another
problem ??

I am having problem uploading iTunes 10.5

Using Windows XP Professional and all of a sudden cannot upload udate. Says there is a problem with Windows installer package. Never happened before and had Apple software on this for a long time.

These ones are tricky. But the following instructions are worth a try.
First do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related components (but don't reinstall just yet), as per the following document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
a. Launch regedit (Start >> Search Programs and Files >> type Regedit and open the regedit that comes up.)
b. Access the following Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData \S-1-5-18\Components
c. Perform the following actions
i. Right Click on Components Folder
ii. Select Permissions
iii. Select Full Control and Read Permissions options
iv. Select Advanced Button
v. Select Owner Tab
vi. Select to Change Owner to the Administrators
vii. Check the option “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects”
viii. Select OK when prompted that it may not change all.
ix. Select Apply
x. Select Apply again
xi. Exit the Registry Editor
Now try reinstalling iTunes again. Does it go in properly this time?

This is probably an issue with the person's contact. Try temporarily writing down their contact details, and then delete the person's contact, and try sending it again. Since you can send the message if you copy and paste, it is not likely to be an issue with the actually MMS message, this is probably a problem with your contacts. Make sure that their phone number in their contact has a full area code, like 1(702)###-###

I am having problems uploading photos to facebook, tumblr, etc.

when i go to upload the photos, certain photos are not able to be uploaded. it says that they are not the correct format. i played around a little bit on iPhoto to see if i could locate the problem, and i found a little bit of information. i figured this out after clicking the "show photo information" button for the problem photos. when i "revert to original," the photo is shown to have a size (2.7 MB, for example) but as soon as i edit the photo in any way (enhance, crop, rotate, effects, ANYTHING) the size of the photo changes to a dash. at this point, the photo cannot be uploaded. what is going on? another user posted a similar questions earlier, and restarting the computer and iphoto worked for that user. i have tried this, however, with no results. PLEASE help, i am in mexico, publishing a travel blog, so being unable to upload photos is a huge hassle for me.
