I am having problems when i have minimized windows and try to open a new window it will open all minimized windows along with the new window. It just changed when mozzilla updated. It did not do this before the update.

It did not do this before the update. Before the update if i had minimized windows they would stay minimized when i opened a new window. Please help ,I would guess it is just a setting somewhere but i cannot figure out where the setting is. Thanks jason

This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

(1) Web site requires you to sign in each time
Web sites generally remember your browser by a cookie they set.
If you have changed your cookie settings (for example, by clearing them using Clear Private Data when you close the browser) or installed new third party software (security suite, system cleaner, etc.), you might be clearing the site's cookie.
In some cases, it's possible that cookies can become corrupted. To clear the site's cookies, when viewing the site:
"right-click" (Mac equivalent!) and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In that dialog, you can remove the cookies. After reloading the page, you should be required to log in again and the site will create new cookies.
(2) Remember font size setting
Are you using a feature of your email site to increase the font? If the site can't remember that for you, then there might be an indirect solution (a hack) to fix it. Which webmail site is it? There might be a userscript available.
If you mean Firefox's zoom setting, then Firefox should remember that between visits.

One last thought about a mac taking long to boot...try resetting the PRAM, that usually works.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

FCPX 10.0.8 does the 30 seconds of beachball for every single action. Did not do this with 10.0.3. Same computer. Same video footage.

I upgraded FCPX 10.0.3 to 10.0.8, then upgraded all the old footage per instructions. Now, with same computer and importing new video footage from the same camera as before (my iPhone), every single action (keyboard or mouse) takes a minute of spinning beachball before it executes. Can't be memory shortage--it's the same computer. Can't be the video quality--it's just iPhone, as before. I made no preference changes. What's up?

I am a big fan of OnyX, which has bailed me out of problems many times (and which DS Store mentions). One of the functions it offers is a Verify function; it can be set to find corrupted preference files.I also have found that their cache cleaning function works well.

On trying to open a URL from an external program or a saved webpage I get an error saying "There was a problem sending the command to the program." It did not do this in the last version I was using, I am now using FIrefox 8.

It happens with all programs, including the default Explorer.exe (for saved pages).

It somehow decided to fix itself? It just worked for some reason after I said something here (well, a few hours later).

I have had to create a new iTunes account. However, there are updates that were not performed while under the old account. So now when I try to update apps, it's asking for the login of the old account, which I do not have.

I have had to open a new account, however, there were App updates that did not get installed before I opened the new account. Therefore, when I try to do the updates, it's is asking for the sign-in and password for the old account, which I do not have this information.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.
Delete these apps and download them with the new Apple ID.

Have you reset the device? Hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go. You can also try Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings

Cannot get rid of "google updater" & I did not install it.

Firefox 3.6.10. called Google Update 1.2.183.23. I went through the troubleshooting for uninstalling plugins but google is not listed in about:config (nor almost ALL my other ones). I deleted profile.dat but all that did was enable all plugins that are listed & that I had disabled. I did not install this plugin-google update either. WIN xp srv pk3

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Im having the same problem, I updated my Iphone 4S to 6.1.3, shortly after that my phone had no audio. It was working fine one minute and then stopped. Was listening to music when sound gave out on me. It wont ring, phone just vibrates even after turning off vibration option. I've tried all the options listed and nothing. My phone has never been jailbroken either. If I connect the earphones is works perfectly. On one of my last calls received, phone's ringtone was heard for about 2 seconds before muting and just vibrating. Ringtone sounded perfect, speakers did not sound damaged.
What else could be done? I've read several post regarding this and it seems like Apple has no solution to this yet. Very dissappointed.
